Uniko's Top 25 Products of 2025 No.16

Happy Wonderful Wednesday.

I'm back today with number 16 of Uniko's Top 25 of 2025. And coming in at number 16 is Christmas Pop. This one was a complete surprise, especially as this was a re-introduction with this stamp set returning from retirement!

Here are a few of my older favourite makes.

And because I am still needing Christmas cards, I gave the stamps some fresh inky love and created some new inspiration using it.

I chose a rainbow of cheerful colours on this grey December day! I started by stamping the solid Parsley tree in the middle and then worked my way outwards on both sides.

My sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments and I decided to add the wording layer to the middle tree using Evergreen. A simple card, but I love how it turned out.

That's all from me today, thank you for joining me.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Christmas Tree Tuesday

Good morning,

Steph here with my Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration post. We are focusing on Christmas in July this month and I have specifically chosen Uniko stamps which include Christmas trees.

To start off I heat embossed the Uniko Background Blocks Arts Decoratifs Christmas stamp. I then used a craft knife to cut some apertures behind which I laid different colours of tissue paper. The idea being that the light could shine through the tissue paper like a stained glass window.

For my next card I used Uniko Rustic Christmas stamp set and created a 'forest' using different colour inks before decorating my main tree with fussy cut small elements from the stamp set.

And finally a super quick card made using the outline tree from the Uniko Christmas Pop stamp set and coloured using alcohol markers. I then teamed this with a sentiment from the Uniko Christmas Wishes set.

It's never too early to start your Christmas cards! And hopefully there is a style here to suit most tastes.

Much love

 Hello everyone!

Happy Tuesday and Merry Christmas Eve!

Vinita here! Did you see Uniko's Christmas release last month? I loved everything in it. I spent a whole day creating Christmas cards! I picked a few items from this release and mixed and matched them with old ones!

I started by stamping the mehendi mandala design in Jet black archival ink at the top corner representing the Sun in festive colors. I watercolored it with my brush pens. At the bottom corner, I stamped the solid Christmas tree in ombre green DI with its outline image using Jet Black ink.
Then, I added some gifts with a Merry Christmas sentiment. I colored the gifts using acrylic markers. I quickly applied some Bronze Perfect Pearls to the Christmas tree, gifts, and sentiment; it was all magic. The black ink turned into bronze, and I added some bronze splatters.

Here is a close-up image:

I hope I have helped with ideas. This is such a fun way to gift someone.
Will come back again tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy crafting!

12 Days Of Christmas Inspiration & Giveaways - Day 6 Christmas Pop

Hello & Happy Festive Friday

Today is Day 6 of Uniko's 12 Days Of Christmas Inspiration & Giveaways and along with the usual inspiration using today's featured product, I have some FABULOUS Festive Offers. I will get to those at the end of my post.

The product I chose to use today is the re-released Christmas Pop clear stamps. I wasn't sure I would be able to use it as stock levels have been going down fast again since my last restock. So I thought I'd better get the inspiration in before it sells out again!

I've had so much fun with this set, pairing with products that I have released since this clear stamp was first released. That it was only right I paired it with another favourite I've not used for a while, the Stencil - Layering Bauhaus Blocks

And it pairs beautifully, even if I say so myself. These colours are so fun and vibrant too. I used Parsley, Oceanside and Poppy.

To make this card using a current favourite spotlight technique, I've used it a lot recently! I ink blended the 3 layers of the stencil on two pieces of white card. I then stamped the Christmas Pop outline tree onto one of the stencilled panels and fussy cut it out.

It was then a case of applying foam tape to the tree and lining it up on the other stencilled panel so that the design matched. I finished with a sentiment from Simply Said Blocks Christmas.

I'm running a little behind with my YouTube video today, but it will be up this afternoon. Be sure to subscribe to the Uniko Channel to be notified when a new video is available.

*Edited to add, todays video is available to watch HERE.

Now for some Fabulous Festive Offers.

Firstly, FREE Worldwide Shipping minimum spend has reduced to just £30to qualify for free shipping. This is normally £75 for those outside the UK and £60 in the UK.

This is perfect for my lovely customers in the EU and Northern Ireland.

PLEASE NOTE - Due to GPSR that come into effect on 13th December 2024, I will no longer be able to ship orders to these destinations. The last day to order is Midday GMT Monday 9th December 2024 to give time for your orders to be processed through the Royal Mail system.
It's a busy time of year, so can take longer.

I am looking into this to try and find an option that isn't too expensive and I am attending an online event that will hopefully answer questions and give me more insight. Please stay in touch via this newsletter and Uniko socials for updates 😊

Special Offers 🎉

THREE for £15 on the following £6.50 value collections, BIG & BOLDEveryday SentimentsFlower Power and Simply Said Blocks. You can mix from any of these collections to qualify for the discount.

Saturday Spotlight - Multicolour Rays & a Video!

Happy Saturday.

Today I have a fun festive card, multicolour rays and a video to show you how I did the multicolour rays using Background Blocks Rays. I've been asked a few times recently as to how I created this card below.

So I thought I would record a little how to video to show the process. This can be applied to lots of Uniko's striped products like Background Blocks Horizontal Stripe and even the striped tree from Christmas Pop.

You can watch the video HERE on Uniko's YouTube Channel.

Here is the finished card.

As you can see for this card I went for a festive twist and just 2 colours of ink for the rays. I also decided when assembling my card to add some sparkle to them by stamping over the top with VersaMark ink and heat embossing with WOW! clear sparkle EP.

I used the same inking technique shown in the video to stamp the tree from Christmas Pop and my sentiment is from Simply Said Blocks Christmas. I finished by adding some Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard.

I hope you enjoy the video HERE and thanks for stopping by today.

It's Beginning To Look Like... Reintroducing Christmas Pop

Hello & Happy Tuesday.

I'm super excited you've stopped by today as today is the first of FIVE product introductions for our October/November Release.

Today I am delighted to be reintroducing, Christmas Pop.

This clear stamp set originally debuted in November 2016. I can't remember when I decided to retire the set, but like a lot of things in paper crafting trends come and go. Having had a few requests I decided it should make a return and hopefully it'll be a lifer!

Another delight is we have a wonderful Guest Brand Ambassador joining us for this release. If you follow me over on Seven Hills Crafts and their blog you may be familiar with Natalia. Natalia's style of paper crafting and card making always WOWS me, so I was delighted when she said yes to creating with some Uniko stamps.

Let's have a look at what Natalia and the Brand Ambassadors have created using Christmas Pop.

I'm feeling super festive after that hop and I hope you are too.

As you can see from these fabulous festive cards Christmas Pop has a wonderful modern vibe and I think with all the stamps and stencils I've released at Uniko since this first debuted it fits in wonderfully along side them.

I know you'll be seeing more of this in the coming weeks as I crack on with my Christmas card making! I'd love to know what you think.

Until tomorrow,

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Slimline Christmas

Morning all,

Since my waist is not looking very slimline this Christmas, I thought I’d better make my cards slimline instead!

This card started out with the lovely bold sentiment from the Uniko Mid Century Modern Christmas stamp set. My next plan was to use the Christmas tree from this set but I managed to temporarily lose it (later found to have dropped into a desk drawer!). So, change of plan and to keep with the trees, I chose the Uniko In The Forest stencil and two shades of distress oxide ink. Finally a cute die cut bow to finish off the card.

Sticking with trees I selected the Uniko Pop Trees stamp set (sadly now discontinued) and teamed it with a sentiment from the Uniko Festive Sentiments stamp set.

For my last card I used Uniko Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas stamp to create a beautiful panel to the side of the card. I then added the doves and sentiment from the Uniko Peace on Earth stamp set keeping the rest of the card CAS.

Much love

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Water Coloured Stencilled Christmas Trees

Good morning, Julie here with few festive ideas for quick Christmas makes using the Christmas Pop Trio stencil and the Christmas Pop stamp set.
I've rediscovered my love of water colour these past few weeks as the days shorten, temperatures drop and gardening is on the back burner. It's great to get lost in You Tube and then have a play!!
Here are three cards that started out as three outlines made using the open tree stencil.

In theses two examples, I traced the outline of the tree using the basic outline from the stencil without the trunk, one onto card the other onto watercolour paper. I wanted to see if the technique worked on card and it does! Can you pick out the w/c paper from the card? The one on the right is the one using w/c paper.

The answer here is to be prepared before you start painting. I used water colour paint but I could just as easily have used DIs or reinkers. I made up pools of three shades of green and then painted the outline triangle all over with plain clear water. YES you read correctly WATER! Not too much if you are using card though.
Before it dried, I dropped drops of colour randomly in the triangle and let the water do it's thing. You don't do the mixing, the water does, no two will ever be the same. This is great for mass production as each one will be drying whilst you do the next!
I could have stamped the pot from Pattern Building Christmas tree but used a pencil and ruler to draw mine. I filled in the shape as before first water then some red in a couple of shades. The painted panels were then left to completely dry.

When dry I needed to decorate them and decided to use the elements from Christmas Pop with gold embossing powder. To complete, I added stars from the same set and the first tree I stamped the sentiment from Christmas Sentiments in Jewelled Gold EP to match the tree.

For this last card I drew the triangle using the same stencil but this time placed Washi tape around the outline. I used a slightly textured card for this panel and the same pools of green from the other two cards.

Starting with a pale green, water added to the strongest one, I painted across with size 6 watercolour brush in various thicknesses and angles. When dry I repeated using progressively darker greens, waiting for each layer to dry. Again this would work well for batch making. When dry and before removing the tape, I splattered some Inka Gold over the paint for a bit of festive sparkle. I hadn't used it for awhile and it was set solid in the pot but I broke a few bits into a dish and added some water to make a thin paste for splattering! The pot was done the same as before.
I didn't add a star this time but added the same Christmas Sentiments sentiment in plain gold EP.

So that's it from me, hope I've inspired you to get a little arty but still keeping the designs clean and simple!

Keep safe out there and happy crafting!
