Congratulations Preeti and Karen! Please email me at bev@uniko.co.uk no later than 7th May 2018 to claim your prizes.

Before I go, how about a card...

It has been a while since I created just for fun and joined in on a few of my favourite challenges. I saw the new Freshly Made Sketches challenge seen HERE and below and was inspired to join in.

I also turned to Color Throwdown HERE and seen below for some colour inspiration! I decided to dust off All Occasion Sentiments #6 and paired it with one of the stamps from Fun Flowers

A little bit of simple colouring with my Prismacolor Pencils, a little dimension and some Altenew enamel dots finished my CAS design.

This is for you guys, A BIG THANKS to you all for joining in on the March Design Team Blog Hop, we all appreciate your lovely comments and support.

Coffee Beans!

Hey & Happy Friday!

The weekend is almost here - yay! I am SO ready for the weekend and to have daddy home to 'help' with the beans! It's been a long week to say the least, even if I did have a bean free day yesterday ;)

During my bean free hours I managed to create a few cards, including this one I have to share with you today...

Today is the last day to get your creations linked up to the Summer 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop HERE. Along with Uniko being a Super Sponsor there are LOTS of other fabulous company prizes to be won.

Anyway, back to my card. I had been wanting to join in on the current "Less is More" challenge HERE and seen below, since I saw the sketch on Saturday!

And the current Color Throwdown colours HERE and seen below seemed a fun combination to use too.

As you can see I used the Uniko I LOVE Coffee clear stamp set for the card, using just the trio of beans stamped in Altenew Mocha ink and the wavy sentiment stamped in Altenew Moss ink. The die cut wave is a Mama Elephant die and I added a trio of Stampin' up! enamel dots in Pumpkin Pie.

That's all I have to share for with you today, hopefully I will squeeze in some more inky time when the beans have gone to bed tonight!

Don't forget I have a Blog Candy GIVEAWAY HERE, be sure to hop on over and comment to be in the chance of winning AND I've a little GIVEAWAY over on my Instagram account today too!

Thanks for stopping by!

CAS Colours & Sketches #179

Hey!

I'm here today with my CAS Colours & Sketches DT card for this weeks challenge. Excited again, as I am hosting the challenges over there this month, which means I have picked the colour combinations and designed the sketches for you to use and hopefully inspire you to create and play along :)

This week HERE, is sketch week and this is the sketch I came up with...

A fun and super simple sketch (well I think so), allowing for your creativity to flow :) Anyway, this is how I used it...

Again I have gone for a tropical theme. I am just loving the new hibiscus flower from the new Uniko Paradise clear stamp set ;)

This time I have paired it with the I LOVE Coffee clear stamp set and a mix sentiment from I LOVE Tea. My reason for this is because of the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is taking place right now! There is so much fun happening over HERE right now, with so many wonderful prizes up for grabs, including one from Uniko! PLUS I have a giveaway on THIS post, be sure to stop by and comment for a chance to win.

With a tropical card, I needed tropical colours and it just so happens that this weeks colour combination at the Color Throwdown HERE and seen below are tropical.

I kept my card really simple, stamping the coffee cup and sentiment first in black ink. I then stamped the hibiscus flowers in SU! Pixie Pink and Melon Mambo with the centre in Summer Sun. The panel is mounted onto a Lucky Limeade card base using foam adhesive, after rounding the bottom right corner. I added two white enamel dots to represent the sketch details.

That's all from me just now, I hope to be back later with more to share. For now though I am off to enjoy a few bean free hours and the sunshine!

Be sure to check out the CC&S Design Team inspiration HERE and I hope to see you in the gallery too this week!

Thanks for stopping by :)

CAS Colours & Sketches #177

Hey!

I'm here today with my CAS Colours & Sketches DT card for this weeks challenge. Excited again, as I am hosting the challenges over there this month, which means I have picked the colour combinations and designed the sketches for you to use and hopefully inspire you to create and play along :)

This week HERE is sketch week and this is the sketch I came up with...

A fun and super simple sketch (well I think so), plus I have not restricted you on 'having' to use a tag on your card or a star, leaving plenty of scope for interpretation :)

Anyway, this is what I have come up with...

This card shows you a HUGE sneaky peek at a couple of NEW clear stamp sets being released on Saturday at Uniko ;) I just couldn't resist inking them up for todays sketch and when I saw the current colours over at Color Throwdown HERE and seen below it made me think of a Hawaiian shirt!

The tropical trend is BIG right now and I couldn't resist jumping on the bandwagon for this one! Having got married in Hawaii (nearly 3 years ago now), it brings back lots of lovely memories :)

I used a trio of WPlus9 inks on my card, Bloomsberry, Sweet Gelato and Sweet Nectar. I also added a good helping of clear Wink Of Stella to the Hibiscus flowers and a sentiment also from one of the sets.

Ok, that's about all from me just now, I have a few more cards to make using these NEW Uniko stamps for my class on Saturday at The Paperlane (still a couple of places left for the class) and then I am going to enjoy some sunshine in the garden while I am bean free for the afternoon ;)

Be sure to check out the CC&S Design Team inspiration HERE and I hope to see you in the gallery too this week!

Thanks for stopping by :)

CAS Colours & Sketches #175

Hey!

I'm here today with my Design Team card for the new CAS Colours & Sketches challenge seen HERE and below. This week our hostess Caro has challenged us with a sketch...

Caro would like to see the 5 elements of differing sizes in the diagonal on your cards. Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch as desired. This is what I came up with...

This sketch certainly stumped me for a while, I wanted to do something a little different at first but it didn't work out. So as you can see I reached for a collection of Uniko heart stamps for my card. The flower heart and largest outline flower are from Always & Forever with the smaller trio from Flower Power #3.

I decided I needed a little extra help with my creativity and turned to Color Throwdown for my colours seen HERE and below.

That's all from me today, be sure to check out the rest of the CC&S DT samples over HERE and also to join in on the challenge. I hope to see you in the gallery and look forward to being inspired by you all :)

All time BEST seller...

Hey & Happy Monday!

It's been a HAPPY Monday here at Uniko Studio HQ as it has been a Bank Holiday, which means I've had an extra day off with hubby and a lovely long weekend :) We've spent quite a bit of time in the nursery putting cot beds together and deciding on placement and other furniture and decoration.

Anyway, I did squeeze in a little crafty time this evening to create todays card...

I'm loving the trend of divided panels on cards and I was especially inspired by THIS card by Christina over at My Paper Secret. It's been a while since I inked up my Pure Florals: Gerbera stamp set and seeing as it is the all time BEST seller on the Uniko Studio website it deserved some LOVE!

I used the Color Throwdown colours again for my card seen HERE and above as I wanted the Gerbera to be bright and vibrant. I added a sentiment and strip of ribbon to add some extra interest and finish the card off.

As it's a Bank Holiday here in the UK I decided to send out a little 'Thank You' email with a 15% off your order code. If you missed the email or haven't signed up yet simply enter the code thankyou into the coupon box during checkout and the discount will be applied. The code expires tomorrow 27th May.

To sign up for our newsletter and emails you can HERE and you won't miss out on anything exciting going on here at Uniko Studio!

Ok, that's all I have to share for today, I hope to be back tomorrow with another creation. I'm at the hospital again tomorrow for another scan, so it all depends on how tired I am after that! Until the next time, thank you for stopping by today :)
