Welcome back to the first blog post of a NEW week! I'm continuing the theme I started last week in looking back at previously released products available from Uniko Studio and creating some NEW projects using them as well as looking at old projects.
Today I have Flowers For YOU as we look back at a more recently released product ...
This set was the last stamp set released here at Uniko Studio back in July. A lovely floral set featuring both linear and solid stamps for some 2 step stamping & for those who like to colour and those who don't!
Even though I have used this set a lot in recent blog posts I managed to whip up a few more NEW projects ...
This first card uses the full solid flower and smallest line leaf stamps from the Pure Florals: Gerbera stamp set. I used the current iSpy sketch for the layout of my card seen HERE and below and the colours were inspired by the current 'Less is More' challenge colours HERE which are to use pink & brown.
I kept the card as simple as possible by stamping the leaf in Soft Suede ink onto white card stock and matting this layer with some Soft Suede card stock, rounding the corners before adhering to the pink card base. The flower is stamped using the Rock 'N' Roll technique but I only rocked the very edges of the petals.
This stamp set also has a digital patterned paper collection to give you even more possibilities in your crafting creations...
This next card uses just the digital paper collection seen above...
I think this has to be my favourite of the 2 new cards I have made I think because it has more white space. I'm not keen on coloured card bases but try to step out of my comfy zone now & then! Again I used the current 'Less is More' challenge colours of pink & brown on this card.
The digital paper collection has 2 types of patterned papers one with outline flowers in white onto a coloured background and a colourful solid flower on a coloured background.
For my card I used 2 of the first type of patterned paper in 2 colours Pretty in Pink & Sahara Sand. The flower is cut from the Pretty in Pink patterned paper. I used the new Retro Sketch challenge sketch for the layout of my card seen HERE and below.
Both my cards were made in less than 15 minutes and left blank for any occasion, a handy type of card to have to send to friends and family.
How about a quick look at a couple of cards that I made when I released this set ...
I've also got a few Uniko Studio customer cards to share with you who have made such wonderful cards using this set.
First up is Sheila...
Sheila is a friend from card club who hasn't been card making for long but is certainly flourishing with this CAS bloom.
Next is Camilla who has created a couple of beauties with this set...
I hope this post has shown you the many possibilities this stamp set holds & that it has inspired you in your card making & crafting! I'll be back again tomorrow with another instalment in this little series! Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs
