TIME to celebrate!

Hey!

Happy Friday, I'm celebrating an early weekend today & taking some TIME out of the studio but scheduled this appropriately themed card to share with you today...

I was inspired to pull out Uniko Studio's Time & Extra Time clear stamp sets by the current challenge over at CASology HERE, whose theme is time. It's nice to pull out sets that you haven't used for a while & show them love! 

I used the current CAS(E) this Sketch sketch seen below & HERE for my layout but this time I changed the orientation of the sketch turning it clockwise and moved the panel over to the left.

I'm not one usually to change the orientation of a sketch, or even create a 'loose' interpretation of a sketch, but knew I wanted to shake things up and also I wanted to incorporated those 2 little banners from the NEW Uniko Studio Wonderful Washi: Christmas clear stamp set.

Again, I used the current Play Date Cafe challenge colours seen HERE and below for my card and I'm pleased with the balance.

That's all the 'time' I have to share with you today, but I will be back again tomorrow sharing a couple of the projects that my class at The Paper Lane will be making.

Classic Christmas Colour Splash!

Hey!

So, today is my Friday as my weekend is starting a day early with my hunny having a day off work tomorrow - YAY! I'm sure I will still spend some time in the studio as I don't seem to want to leave these days & I have many more Christmas cards to make. 

Here's one more I've made...

There's nothing like a good sketch & classic colour combo to get the creativity flowing. I used the NEW CAS(E) this Sketch sketch seen HERE and below and the NEW Play Date Cafe challenge colours seen HERE and below for my card.

I saw the stripes on the sketch panel & instantly thought of the NEW Label Love: Christmas striped label! The holes in the punched border were perfect too for adding a lil bit of bling, it wouldn't be a Christmas card without a bit of bling.

If only...

Hey!

There are lots of way's I could start todays post with the title of 'If only...' But today it has relevance to the card I'm sharing...

If only there could be Peace On Earth this world would be a better place. I check the news every morning and most day's it's quite depressing & hardly any good news. 

So I made this peaceful Christmas card today in a peaceful studio using the current Freshly Made Sketches sketch seen HERE and below...

I have a thing for red, white & kraft at the moment and for using the NEW Pure Florals: Poinsettia clear stamp set! I've also completed the projects for the class I'm teaching after the demo on Saturday and will share those in due course, don't want to spoil the surprise! 

Anyway, that's all from me this evening as I've still a few jobs to complete before I call it a night & go in to snuggle & watch a movie with my hunny!

Super CAStastic!

Hey!

Today I have a Super CAStastic card. Yep, I like to invent words and I think that my CAStastic is appropriate for this card...

Now, I didn't time myself but I can safely say that this card took me about 5 minutes to make & I'm really pleased with the result even if I do say so myself! LOL!

I used the same 'lil Christmas Tree stamp as yesterday from Label Love: Christmas but this time I paired it with the Merry Christmas from Pure Florals: Poinsettia. I used the same a.muse twinkle stickers this time in 2 pink colours. There is 2 blue colours in the sticker collection so I can make 'boy' cards too! 

This CAS card is mail friendly as it's only a one layer card. It's also perfect for the current Addicted to Stamps and More challenge HERE which is a Clean & Simple Anything Goes challenge! 

Think I will whip up a few more of these before I create something else. Thanks for stopping by today.

Operation Christmas!

Hey!

I'm here & dry just about it's been the wettest rainiest few day's here in the North East of England & there is MORE to come. We're luckier than some in the UK as more than 800 homes in the South West have been flooded and I am sure the count will go up across the UK tomorrow. 

So, with all the rain today Operation Christmas has begun in Uniko Studio, now that the November release is done it's time to whip up many a Christmas card, project and decoration! I've also got a Demo Day & Class to prepare for this Saturday & Designers Marketplace in just under 3 weeks, so it's busy busy busy! 

I created this super CAS Christmas card this evening...

I used the current CAS(E) this Sketch HERE and seen below for the layout of my card and used some NEW Uniko Studio products! I created a larger Christmas Tree using the 'lil tree stamp from Label Love: Christmas & the sentiment is also from that set too. 

The patterned paper is from Eclectic Mix Christmas digital download & the Rhinestones are some old a.muse twinkle stickers I had in my stash. I've a few different colours of the twinkle stickers so I can see a little set of these cards happening once I've finished this post!

The Day After...

I love Christmas music and so this lil CAS card came to be whilst listening to the holiday tunes in the studio! All the stamps from this card are from Label Love: Christmas. Next, a 'classic' floral Christmas card using Pure Florals: Poinsettia...

A super duper CAS 'On The Edge' Merry card! These cut files are sized perfectly to fit across the front of a standard size card and don't forget can be easily enlarged in your digital cutting software for your larger projects!
