Introducing... Christmas Sparkle & Winter Foliage

YAY!

Thanks for all the lovely comments yesterday, didn't the Design Team do an awesome job showcasing the new clear stamps? If you missed it you can catch up HERE.

I'm SO glad that you have decided to come back today ;) as we have the last two product introductions for Sept/Oct product  release. That means tomorrow is release day!

Anyway, lets have a look at Christmas Sparkle and Winter Foliage. Both these clear stamp sets are awesome on their own, but they can be used together beautifully AND they work with other previously released Uniko Christmas/Winter themed clear stamps ;)

I had this card design in my head ever since I was designing the Christmas Sparkle bauble, so I had to recreate it for todays introduction!

The bauble is a two step stamp, which allows for a multitude of possibilities, however I decided to stamp both in Encore Silver ink and heat emboss with Stardust EP for a WOW of sparkle! 

The fussy cut sparkly raised bauble is hanging from the bough of holly embellished with the layered poinsettia and sparkly ribbon from last years Christmas clear stamp set Jingle Bells. 

My next card focuses on Winter Foliage...

This clear stamp set features a large pine bough and pinecones, you might recognise the images as they are larger versions of the pinecones from the previously released Background Builders: Winter Vines clear stamp setand the pine bough is from the previously released Jingle Bells clear stamp set. 

The pinecone stamp is a two step stamp and the large sentiment is from All Occasion Sentiments #4. Apart from the fussy cutting of the pinecones, this was a really quick and easily mass produceable Christmas card ;)

CAS Colours & Sketches #193

Karen is our hostess this month over at CAS Colours & Sketches and as September is a five week month this week is THE DOUBLE! Karen  has come up with this fabulous combination HERE and seen below for you to try...

I admit this was kinda tough, more the sketch than the colours that threw me this time! However, this is what I came up with...

You may or may not know that Uniko is in the midst of a NEW product release and I have been sharing sneak peeks and introducing new clear stamp sets available on the 1st October! The set the Uniko Design Team and I are introducing HERE today is called Marvellous Mehndi. 

The colours Karen chose are perfect for the designs contained in the set, so I made my card using the largest main mandala image and the tiny teardrop stamp to create the pattern along the edge.

Having such a detailed stamp, a sketch to follow and keeping it CAS I just partially stamped the image and selectively coloured it too. The sentiment is a combination of the previously released Uniko Simply Said and the NEW Simply Said II clear stamp set, also being released on Saturday.

Introducing... Marvellous Mehndi and Simply Said II

I'm SO happy that you have decided to pop back today, didn't the design team do an awesome job yesterday HERE of showcasing Originally Organic?!

Today we are introducing you to two more clear stamp sets called Marvellous Mehndi and Simply Said II. Marvellous Mehndi is my modern approach to the Mehndi / Henna style with a hint of paisley too. It features a large focal mandala stamp and a variety of smaller stamps to create your own patterns. Simply Said II is an additional/follow on clear stamp set from Simply Said. It features sentiment stamps in the same font and size, giving you even more occasions, sentiment combinations and possibilities!

How about some eye candy...

For my first card I have combined the largest mandala stamp from the Marvellous Mehndi clear stamp set and two sentiments from Simply Said II. The mandala is stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed with detail white EP. I then selectively coloured it with a trio of Prismacolor pencils.

For my next card today using these clear stamps I wanted to show you how they coordinate and can be combined with the previously released Fun Flowers clear stamp set. 

If you look closely at the the new Mehndi stamps you will notice that they feature smaller versions of the floral designs that are in the Fun Flowers set. I love giving older sets more worth and creating more possibilities and breathe new life into them

On this second card I have used the smaller mandala stamp inside the largest flower stamp from Fun Flowers. I filled in the design with a teardrop from the Marvellous Mehndi set and the smallest flower from Fun Flowers. I selectively coloured the stamped panel with SU! markers and embellished with glitter. The sentiment is another from Simply Said II.

Introducing... Originally Organic

YAY!

I'm SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the Sept/Oct product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 5 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you.

So, without further ado lets get to it! Today we are introducing you to a clear stamp set called Originally Organic. This is a modern floral/foliage set with a collection of positive friendship and growth sentiments.

My first card uses one of the stamps that I have already given you a huge peek at and used HERE on my Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop card! This time though I wanted to give the stamp the focus and kept my card really simple.

The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copic Markers, I then embellished the image with a trio of SU! Candy Dots.

My next card showcases the second larger stamps contained in the set...

A fun feature of this stamp is that the flower/foliage heads are interchangeable and also multi-step stamps. This time I chose a brighter colour palette and added another of the sentiments contained in the set. I kept the embellishment of the image simple with only adding a touch of clear Wink Of Stella.

Sept/Oct 2016 Release Sneak Peeks

Today I am sharing two more peeks...

This first peek is sure to be another FAVE of mine and if you LOVE the current colouring trend, then I think you might just LOVE it too! The designs are a modern take on Mehndi which is set to be a popular trend in 2017. 

This last peek today is a follow up set to the popular Simply Said clear stamp set. It features more useful sentiments in a classic font style!

So on my card today there is a HUGE sneak peek at a two stamps (part of a set) coming soon ;) I'm in the process of making samples for the upcoming Uniko Sept/Oct product release, so I couldn't help but use one of the new stamps on my card.

It is such a versatile stamp and can be used for all seasons really, but it looks awesome coloured in Autumn/Fall colours too! 

Here is a little close up of the detail...

The coffee cup is from I LOVE Coffee, stamped with the second sneak peek and coloured with Copic markers. The sentiment is a mix from I LOVE Tea and the coffee part partially stamped from I LOVE COFFEE.

That's all from me today, I will be sharing more tomorrow and we start the countdown to the Uniko Release on Sunday!
