11th Birthday Release In Review Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Hello & Happy Friday!

How are we at the end of March already? This month seems to have flown by with a mixture of exciting up coming collaborations mixed in with a week of being struck down with illness. Oh the joys of having school age kids!

Anyway, enough of my waffle. How about we get to todays post.

As you may remember, there was a delay with post and a few of the Brand Ambassadors didn't have chance to fully showcase the 11th Birthday products on the official release post HERE. So I thought it would be nice to have a Release in Review Blog Hop. Plus, you get to see lots more creativity in one place using all the new goodies.

Oh, and of course I have a giveaway at the end of the post, so keep reading and enjoy the hop!

Inspirational Blog Hop...

Two For Tuesday AND a Winner!

Hello!

Happy Tuesday and a belated happy spring. Apologies for myself being quiet here and across social media this past week or so. Before last week I was finalising some exciting products and then I got struck down with a nasty cold/flu bug. A week later and I am just starting to feel better and finally have some energy back.

Anyway, enough of my woes, how about some creative inspiration...

I was inspired to use the Stencil - Cloud 9 as my starting point for my Two For Tuesday and opted for a circle aperture. I used a circle die to create an aperture mask and stencilled the cloud onto my white card layer. I used Altenew inks to get the beautiful ombre look.

To finish I added a sentiment from Up & Away and adhered a hot air balloon using foam adhesive. I then layered this onto my card base using foam adhesive.

For my second card I used the circle from the aperture I die cut for the first card as my cloud focal point. Again I used the same inks for the clouds and I love how you can get different layering looks each time. I find this stencil very therapeutic to ink.

I'm longing for warmer days now and to see those butterflies fluttering in the garden. So for this card I opted to ink and colour the largest butterfly from English Country Garden Butterflies. The sentiment is from our popular Simply Said Blocks. All of the elements are adhered to the card using foam adhesive.

Now before I go, I have been reminded that I forgot to announce the winner from the 11th Birthday Release Blog Hop HERE. Apologies for my forgetfulness and thank you to those who emailed me a reminder this week.

With the help of random.org the lucky comment is...

Alice

Three sweet cards, love so much especially the first one with the fabulous crocus, daffodil and snowdrops!

Congratulations to Alice!

You have won a £30 eGift Certificate to spend in the Uniko store. Please email me at bev@uniko.co.uk to claim your prize.

Thank you to everyone who hopped and left comments, they are much appreciated by all of us here at Uniko. We have one more chance for you to win from the 11th Birthday celebrations this week, so be sure to keep an eye on the blog!

Magnificent Monday BA Inspiration - A little Bit of Sunshine to Brighten your Day

 Bonjour !

Izzy here with my last card to celebrate Spring. This time I used the Spring Botanicals Daffodil set together with the Bee Happy set and the Stylised Floral stencil.

As I told you in my previous BA inspiration post, here the daffodils are in full bloom and they finally put a bit of colour in our garden.

I started with the background of this card by die cutting a scalloped rectangle in a white card stock. Then I used the Stylised Floral stencil together with yellow inks to make a gradient from the top to the bottom.

On another white card stock I stamped the daffodil and the bee, then I coloured them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them.

I flat adhered the stencilled background on the double white card and I stamped the beautiful sentiment in black as well as the little dots for the bee mouvement.

To finish my card I simply glued the daffodil and the bee on the card.

Et voilà ! That's all for me with the Spring cards. I hope that you enjoyed the inspiration and thank you so much for stopping by.

Happy Monday BA Inspiration - A Kind Word is Like a Spring Day

 Bonjour !

It’s official, it’s today : Spring is here ! So to give it a little wink, I made the following card !

If we can already see the beautiful yellow shades of the daffodils in our garden, we can only see the bright green of the tulips' leaves. But for sure they will be in full blooms by the end of the month.

To make this card I used the beautiful set Spring Botanicals Tulip. I stamped the tulips once on a white card stock with no-line colouring ink then I masked them to stamp them a second time. I coloured the image with coloured pencils and I fussy cut it.

For the background of the card, I blended green, pink and yellow inks on a piece of white card stock. With the same inks I made splatters all over this panel and I stamped the sentiment.

To finish my card, I flat adhered the ink blended panel on a double white card. Then I foam mounted the tulips on top.

That's all for me today. I will come back next Monday with my last Spring card. Happy Spring to you all and thank you so much for stopping by.

BA inspiration: Spring Bunny

  Hello to all!

Happy Friday!

Time for some inspiration, Vinita here........ I am back with a new stamp release called Hoppy easter which has a solid and outlined both the bunny image with face impression. Here I used both with the mixing of some more stamp sets.

I really wanted to showcase this cute Easter bunny from the Hoppy Easter stamp set!

I started with the Everyday Spring sentiment combined with the Love word in bold look using Altenew jet-black ink and the solid bunny image in soft pink ink.

I created some textures for the bunny image using Mid-Century Modern Florals as shown in the above pic.

I masked the bunny and surrounded this cute bunny image with flowers from the so much stamp set for the spring feel using Altenew inks. Then created a textured background in soft pink ink again.

In the end, I stamped the face of a bunny! Isn't it so cute!!!

Well, that's it for me today. I hope you enjoyed the detailed look!

Have a wonderful day!

Happy crafting!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Luck of the Irish!

Good morning!

Steph here today with my Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration and since we are close to March 17th, St Patrick’s Day, I thought I would do some ‘luck of the Irish’ Good Luck cards.

For my first card I used the ‘lucky black cat' from the Uniko Purrfect Day stamp set. For added luck the cat has a four leaf clover stamped using small hearts from the Uniko Flower Power #3 stamp set.

My second card uses the luck at the end of the rainbow. For this I used Uniko Rainbows & Clouds stencil inking the different colours with a very small blending brush. I inked up an extra cloud, fussy cut it and added it to the end of the rainbow with another four leaf clover.

Finally I used Uniko Background Builders Hearts stamp set to make a clover and stem. For the background I used Uniko Scattered Polka Hearts stencil and die cut into a hexagon, just because! For all the sentiments I used the newly released Uniko Everyday Spring Sentiments set. I was very pleased to see the Good Luck sentiment included in this font!

Hopefully I've given you some inspiration for some Good Luck cards or even some St Patrick's Day celebration cards. Let me know what you think by leaving a lovely comment.

Much love

Steph x

Marvellous Monday BA Inspiration - Where Flowers Bloom So Does Hope

 Bonjour !

Izzy here. Today I'm back with a new Spring card. This time I used the beautiful Spring Botanicals Snowdrop set to make my card.

Lucky are those who had the opportunity to see these pretty flowers this year. For my part, I have never seen and even less this year since we have not had snow.

On a piece of watercolour paper I stamped the flower with a no-line colouring ink. Then I masked it with masking liquid to make the sky background with watercolour.

Once dry, I peeled of the masking gum and I watercolored the flower and the snow bank.

And to finish, I stamped the beautiful sentiment included in this set and I splattered white acrylic paint to make snow. Love how it turned out !

That's all for me today but I will come back next Monday with another Spring card. Have a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by.

Festive Friday - Warm Winter Foliage

Happy Festive Friday.

The North East finally caught up with the rest of the country today, as we woke up to snow. Of course there was much delight and excitement to be walking to school in it and we have some sledging fun scheduled after school. Hopefully it'll stick around long enough!

This inspired my card today, along with the Designer Dies Winter Foliage recently coming back in stock.

I started out by softly ink blending through the Stencil - Let it Snow with Concord & 9th Aqua Sky ink. I then stamped the images from Winter Foliage & die cut with the corresponding Designer Dies Winter Foliage. My chosen sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments.

That's all from me today. Stay Warm.

Merry Monday BA Inspiration - Spring is in the air !

 Bonjour !

Izzy here. I hope that you enjoyed the past week with all the beautiful inspiration cards for the new release launched last Saturday.

Unfortunately, due to some Royal Mail & La Poste issues, I couldn't have my 'goodies' on time to participate in the showcase with my BA buddies. So behind the scene I prepared some cards and I start this morning with the first one.

When I ear March, I immediately think of spring. Which also means an explosion of beautiful colours with all the new blossoms.

So I dug out the Flower Power collection (dies and stamps) from my stash and I played with all these little flowers to make a coloured flourish wreath.

First, I die cut the flowers and put the die cuts back in place in my Misti in order to stamp them. Doing that way, it prevents to cut on the outlines.

I coloured them with my coloured pencils and I organised them (without gluing them) on a double white card stock. When I was pleased with the layout, I took a picture of the placement.

I put the card in the Misti and I tried some different placements for the leaves. When happy with the placement, I took off the flowers and I stamped the leaves and the sentiment.

Finally, with the help of the picture taken previously, I glued the flowers on the double card. Et voilà !

That's all for me today but I will come back soon with another Spring card. Have a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by.
