Countdown to Christmas Day 15 & Curtain Call Challenge Sponsor

Hey!

Im guessing that most of you are near enough sorted for Christmas by now and have spent some time this weekend getting those last few gifts sorted and making those last few Christmas cards to mail out.

I've still quite a few things to do and a few cards still to make, however, I did have a good session yesterday making cards and I have a couple to share with you today. I was helped along by a couple of challenges to spark the mojo and keep it flowing!

First up is the NEW Curtain Call Challenge seen HERE and below which Uniko Studio is proudly sponsoring :) It's worth checking out as there is a TON of inspiration from the Curtain Call Crew AND a £15 Gift Certificate up for grabs!

How yummy do those snowflake cookies look? The colours in the inspiration photo above plus the current 'Less is More' challenge seen HERE which is one layer cards, resulted in this simple design...

I needed a few more flat mailing cards and these are perfect. I stamped the snowflakes and paper pierced the holes to represent string, added some sparkle to the snowflakes using glitter and the bakers twine wrapped around the top isn't too bulky.

This then led onto this card which isn't so mail friendly...

This time I used the smallest Designer Die Snowflake combined with the Stunning Snowflakes stamps. Again I paper pierced the holes for the string effect and this time mounted the layer onto a kraft card stock base. I then finished the card off with some Sweet Blush twill ribbon tied in a bow and added a couple of rhinestones to the stamped snowflakes.

That's all from me today, I do hope you will pop by the Curtain Call challenge and enter ;) I will be back again with more to share, until then, thank you for stopping by today :)

  3. Gorgeous (I use the same words to describe your works of art!, but that's what they are: gorgeous!). Paper piecing for the strings = clever; something for me to keep in mind, as I often avoid "ornament images for that reason. Wonderful snowflakes, eye-catching colours, amazing inspiration, yet again! Happy Sunday!
