It's no secret that I LOVE Snowflakes & ALL things SNOW! Every morning I wake and hope to open my windows to it snowing or that fresh snow has laid overnight. Much to my disappointment that hasn't happened yet :(
Anyway, I decided to incorporate my Christmas window dream into a card reality & made two versions, you can decide which is your favourite but I'm leaning towards the kraft & white version...
I used a Papertrey Ink label die to create the window, die cutting it once then moving it down slightly and die cutting again to create an elongated window.
For my second card I changed it to a landscape card and decided to use the current Dynamic Duos challenge colours seen HERE and below, I chose white to use as my other colour.
Typing the post now, it is like I've done a day & night version! On this second card I stamped the snowflakes using VersaMark Dazzle ink which has a subtle shimmer to it.
Do you dream of a white Christmas? They say the weather is getting colder here towards the end of the week & predicting rain & haven't forecast snow, but I can only keep everything crossed and hope they're wrong!
That's all from me today, I will be back tomorrow in the afternoon with Day 4 of the Christmas Countdown, be sure to stop by in the morning too as we have a guest joining us on the blog :) Until then thank you for stopping by :)

Think I'm leaning every so slightly towards the blue version. Brilliant inspiration again!
ReplyDeleteLike them both Bev, very unusual but if I had to choose it would be the navy for me!
ReplyDeleteBoth gorgeous Bev - leaning towards the kraft though ;)
ReplyDeleteLike you I adore snowflakes, but frankly only on cards!!!! Okay, I don't mind if I know I'm not driving. Both these cards are so stylish - I think I'm tending towards the navy one!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, both - elegant, pretty, eye-catching! LOVE the white/kraft, and the navy/white..easy *choice* of favourites!. Once again, your creativity dazzles and impresses! I could send you our snowflakes; our province experienced blizzard conditions yesterday, so we have plenty to spare :-) Have an excellent Tuesday. Your countdown series is awesome!! Hugs ~ c
ReplyDeleteSorry Beverley I'm torn ... both too gorgeous to choose a preference. Can't say I share your enthusiasm for the white stuff - Yes it looks beautiful but hideous if you've got to go anywhere - I'm a complete WUSS! x
ReplyDeleteReally lovely design, nice and simple and well designed
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for leaving a lovely comment on my blog
Have a lovely day!

Two gorgeous cards -the second card is my favorite because of the beautiful midnight blue. The window idea is very fun!
ReplyDeleteBoth lovely Bev, the Kraft one has my vote though and I, too, am dreaming of a white Christmas which I WILL get as I shall be spending the winter in a ski resort - the down side is limited crafting :-(

Ooh, tricky choosing a fave, Bev ... I always love kraft and white, and this is so gorgeous ... there again, I love the boldness and drama of the white with midnight blue too! Snow ... wonderful when I'm wrapped up and cosy ... inside or out! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with the day version myself although both are super, I just love the Kraft with the white and that super window frame. We very rarely get snow at Christmas here in Greece up until last week the weather was lovely and warm so I do miss the UK and all of that lovely snow.

Ooh, I love snow too - we had mountains of it up here in Durham last year.. and I'm eagerly awaiting the first flake :-)
ReplyDeleteStunning cards.Really love your 'window' design - very inspirational.

What beautiful cards you've created, Beverley! I love the designs. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the first one, because kraft & white always catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteIn my part of the USA, I've only experienced one "White" Christmas in my lifetime. AND...it was beautiful!
Beautiful! I love the crips, clean stamping! Thanks for joining the dynamic Duos!
ReplyDeleteOoh these are both stunning but I think I'm leaning towards the midnight blue and white combo. It's so crisp and clean, but both are so classy x
