December 2013 Release, Reveal & a Farewell

Hey!

The day is HERE! Nope don't worry you've not fell asleep & woken up on Christmas Day, LOL! It's the Uniko Studio December Release & Reveal. Which is kind of like Christmas to me as I get so excited and a little bit nervous as I get to finally reveal the two sets in the entirety to you all...

All Occasion Sentiments #5 £4.95

First up is All Occasion Sentiments #5. This series has been very popular and so it would have been rude not to have a LOVE themed set in the series! As you can see from the image above it features 8 stamps in lovely trendy & modern fonts. It is also suitable for other occasions such as weddings, engagements & anniversary cards as well as Valentine's day. The size of the sentiments are perfectly sized to work with sentiments contained in the 4 preceding All Occasion Sentiment sets in the series.

Next we have another mini set called Always & Forever...

As you can see the set features two focal image hearts which are   in size AND one of the hearts coordinates with the flower from the previously released & VERY popular Beautiful Blooms 1 clear stamp set. The set also contains an accent heart & variety of LOVE themed sentiments.

That's the formalities done, let's get to a few more projects to show what these little sets in action...

My first card today uses the current CAS(E) this Sketch! layout seen HERE and below, it lent itself perfectly to using both of the new sets which I have combined on this card to make a lovely Valentine's card.

On my card I have used the 'Be Mine' stamp from All Occasion Sentiments #5 and the 'Love You' heart from Always & Forever. I've embossed the heart using Crystal embossing power to give it a nice sparkly & glossy finish.

My next card uses the second large heart in the Always & Forever set which coordinates with the previously released and popular Beautiful Blooms 1 clear stamp set.

I decided to make a lovely pink wedding congratulations card. I started out by stamping and embossing the smallest Beautiful Blooms flower on the pink mat layer and layering the sentiment strip on top. The congratulations is from All Occasions Sentiments #1 and I finished the card off with the bloom filled heart stamped in pink and embossed with crystal EP, cut out and mounted using foam adhesive.

I've one more card to share with you today...

There is a current trend of wreaths at the moment and I decided I would create my own heart shaped wreath using the little hearts contained in Flower Power #3 and the sentiment is from the NEW Always & Forever.

I started out by tracing lightly with a pencil round a heart shaped die and then I just randomly stamped the trio of hearts in VersaMagic Turquoise Gem, Red Magic, Sea Breeze & VersaFine Onyx Black. I added some Hero Arts Prisma Glitter to the black outline hearts for some added detail and tied some embroidery floss around the lower half of the card.

It is a shame with all this happy that now, before I pass you over to the design team & our guest designer for December, it is with great sadness that we are also saying farewell to a Design Team member today too.

Aimes has made the hardest decision due to various reasons to step down from the team. Aimes has been with Uniko Studio since the beginning and has been a true inspiration not only to myself but many a customer, fan & follower of Uniko Studio. I say it's a farewell as I am sure Aimes will continue to inspire us all in blog land and use her Uniko Studio goodies from time to time ;)

So, before I pass you over to Aimes to see the wonderfulness she has created today, I just wanted to say a massive 'THANK YOU' to Aimes from the bottom of my heart for all you have done, helped & supported me with this little dream of mine for over two years.

I hope you will all give a little love to Aimes & all the FABulous DT & Guest Designers as you hop along today :) So, let's see what the team have created to inspire us...

Don't forget to comment along the hop as one lucky commenter will win the entire release along with a little Christmas surprise! You have until midnight Friday 13th to comment for a chance to win & I will announce the winner here on the blog & our Facebook page.

One last little thing for all you Release Day Uniko Studio Fans:

But, that's not all from me today, I will be back again at 4pm for Day 11 of my Christmas Countdown, until then thank you for stopping by & Happy Hopping!
