Gold Butterflies

Hey & Happy Friday!

Yay for the weekend :) It's been a long week here at Uniko Studio HQ, but I am happy with what I've achieved this week. I hope you've all had a good week too. I'm looking forward to an afternoon of crafting tomorrow as the hubby goes looking at new cars & test driving them with his dad.

Anyway, I'm here today with some gold butterflies...

This week CAS(E) this Sketch! are joining forces with Fusion Card Challenge and when I saw the combo HERE,  HERE and below I instantly had an idea and had to interpret the sketch quite literally!

Of course I had to use the NEW English Country Garden - Butterflies stamp set and my fresh Encore Gold ink pad :)

I'm out of the studio today getting some much needed fresh air and exercise! I do monthly health walks with my MIL run by a voluntary group and we visit a village or town within the North East, do a 2-3 mile walk and then enjoy a nice lunch and a spot of shopping in the place we've walked to. I started these walks not only for the exercise but also to visit towns and villages I might not necessarily visit in my own time.

Anyway, enough chatter for today, I will be back tomorrow with more to share & until then, thank you for stopping by :)

Supplies:
Card Stock: White (Boyes)
Ink: Encore Gold & VersaFine Onyx Black
Accessories: PTI Tag Die, Foam Adhesive

  6. Bev, your 'literal' interpretation of the photo is stunning perfection! Beautiful swoon-inducing butterflies...gorgeous! I'm applauding your monthly health walks; they sound fabulous as combined 'exercise and explore' expeditions! We live too far from any towns to do such things, so our 'hikes' are exactly that - hikes...up mountains. I love doing them, but right now, the bears are too close, In fact, one of the women I work with and her husband, a Park Ranger, were chasing a bear out of town the other night. Yeeesh!! Bears = scary!! Enjoy your walk, companionship, lunch and shopping!! Hugs~c
