How are you all? Can you believe that we are in November already, how did that happen?! The days here are simply flying by, the beans certainly like to keep me busy that's for sure!!
Yesterday morning Daddy took them to the park in the pram to watch the local non-league football, which gave Mummy some 'ME' time that I decided to use NOT doing housework for once! Instead I popped into the studio and created this card...
It is one that I had started a few days ago and finally got round to finishing. It just so happens that it also fits perfectly into the current challenge over at 'Less is More' HERE, which this week is a colour challenge using non-traditional Christmas colours.
For my card I used one of my favourite non-traditional colour schemes, aqua, white & silver along with a non-Christmas stamp set - Decorative Doilies The Hands Of Time. The sentiment is from Stunning Snowflakes and I also added a Snowflake die cut.
Not surprised you're finding it difficult to find time to craft, so good on you for ditching the housework in favour of creating! Love your colours and CAS card.
ReplyDeleteYeah for me time! Love the clean crisp gorgeousness of your card Bev.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you've made a card Beverley and thoroughly appreciate your time is precious these days looking after those precious bundles! One at a time was hard enough! Superb CAS Christmas card as always and so pleased you've linked up to the LIM challenge.

Fabulous card Bev !!
ReplyDeleteSimple and stunning! Love the beautiful snowflake and gorgeous colours. I'm very impressed that you are managing to craft with two babies to look after! Take care xx
ReplyDeleteCheering that you had some *me* time, which you quickly transformed into spoiling "us" time with this stunning card! Every detail: perfection! Love those snowflakes; hope we'll see more of them this season, but only when you have spoiled and pampered yourself for a while first! Your beans are too sweet and your husband's a gem for taking them to see football. Nothing like getting a handle on that sport at a very young age *grin*
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and your family~c
So good to see a card from you Bev and such a beauty too! :)
ReplyDeleteYour snowflake looks stunning, Bev! Love your CAS style - so fresh :). Glad to hear that Josh and Ben are already up to speed with the offside rule....Saturdays are all about football at our house and that is all the excuse I need to do something crafty :)
ReplyDeleteIt must be SO difficult getting some ME time for you these days. You certainly made good use of it here... this card is gorgeous! The colour palette is fabbo!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much
Chrissie
