DT Inspiration - Wonky Stripes stencil

Is it really the middle of the week already! 
It's Linda here, with my first Stencil DT Inspiration post for you.  I'm thrilled to be part of the Uniko Team and it's a pleasure to be posting on the blog today.

I've got a really quick and easy design for you, using the fabulous Wonky Stripes stencil along with some Distress Oxide inks

This design is so much fun to use .... creates great backgrounds but, I think it's also a fab design to be the focal point on your cards too.  Change the colours of the inks and you'll get a totally different look each time. Kids will love the bright colours, but go more neutral and you could use it for all those 'hard to make cards for' men!

I've gone with  rainbow colours for my card .... bright and cheery.   Brushed straight through the whole of the stencil, which by the way is a great size ..... 6x6 inches.  I've used the whole design here on a 7x7 card, but you could easily cut it down if you wanted it smaller .... save the poeces for something else!

 I simply added a die cut word to the front, layered a couple of times for dimension

And finished off by adding in a few dots of the Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops.  I love how the different colours of the stripes show through the glitter drops, making them match the stripes that they're on perfectly

For the inside I've used the rainbow colours again to ink up the 'birthday' from the brand new Birthday Sentiments

and completed my greeting using some of the smaller words from the same stamp set.
