Card Mixtures!

Helloooo!

Yes, I am still alive! A few days off to celebrate The Queens Diamond Jubilee ended up being over a week off!! I have to say the rest has done me some good and I have enjoyed both family time & alone time to kick start my creative mojo!

Anyway, enough of the chit chat & how about a few card shares?! I have a mixed bag of styles & colours to share with you today ...

This first card was made whilst in a Patriotic mood! I had been to The Paperlane and treated myself to a few new Memory Box dies. The Simple Banner die was one of them! The Classics digital download papers fit perfectly into The Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations so I used the banner die to cut 3 of the paper designs contained in the collection. I paired it with a 'Celebrate' sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday stamped in Pacific Point from SU! Though the card has a Jubilee/Patriotic feel & colour scheme it can be used for many occasion.

This next card uses another new Memory Box die ...

When I saw this Bubble Daisy Border die I instantly thought of the ditsy floral papers contained in the Joyful Butterfly digital download. This card was super quick & simple & is in a very girly colour scheme! I die cut the border from the paper and adhered it to the card using my quickie glue pen. I added a few pearls to the flower centres.

I then die cut a butterfly from So Saffron CS using PTIs Butterfly Dreams die. I then used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch for the smaller butterfly. The sentiment is from FONTiments - Birthday. Here is a close up photo ...

This next card is the last of the cards for today ...

Doilies & Bling!! I used Stampin' Up! In Colour combo for this card with Calypso Coral taking the focus. I used 3 solid doilies from Decorative Doilies - The Hands of Time and a sentiment from Extra Time.

The ideas are now buzzing around head so I best get to work and put them to paper! Thanks for stopping by today!
