I'm SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the September product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 5 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you.
Yesterday we introduced Reach For The Stars and today, myself and my AWESOME Design Team are introducing TWO more clear stamp sets, Background Blocks Stars and Background Builders Seeing Stars. These two sets have so many fun possibilities and can be used and paired with all sorts of stamps and paper crafting goodies, including yesterdays clear stamp set!
Firstly here is a look at Background Blocks Stars...
Firstly here is a look at Background Blocks Stars...
This stamp is exactly what the title of it says, a block of stars! I recently purchased some Windsor & Newton (formally Pro Markers) in Neon colours. I've wanted to give them a whirl for a while now and this stamp seemed the perfect opportunity.
I've simply stamped the background block of stars in black and selectively coloured various stars in using the neon markers. I then went and added some Stampin' Up! glitter to the larger stars and a sentiment from yesterdays introduction clear stamp set, Reach For The Stars.
Next I have another fun and 'quirky' star card to share with you, this time using Background Builders: Seeing Stars...
Yesterday I saw the new CAS(E) this Sketch! layout seen HERE and below and it just called to me to be used with stars!
One of the fun features of clear stamps and the longer builder stamps, is that you can bend and shape them. On this card I have used my MISTI tool and adhered the star lined stripes in a curve onto my stamping surface of the MISTI. I've then just roared my card base after each stamp.
I then went and added 3 stars stamped, coloured with Copic markers, fussy cut out and adhered to follow the curve of the star lined stripes. To finish I added some small stars embellished with Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops and again a sentiment from yesterdays introduction clear stamp set, Reach For The Stars.
That's all from me here, but be sure to hop along all the Design Team blogs and leave a comment along the way, as you never know you might just win a random prize! I know for sure that you won't be disappointed the Design Team have created a bountiful wealth of inspiration :)
