Hello & Welcome to Day 5 of Uniko's 12 Days Of Christmas Inspiration & Giveaways.
Today is Thursday so I have a couple of throwbacks to share with you using todays clear stamp set, Rustic Wreath, along with a new card AND a bonus card in todays YouTube video HERE.
This first card uses flowers from a now retired clear stamp set called Winter Vines Additions. But the look could easily be achieved with a similar small flower from Flower Power #1. The sentiment is from Simply Said Blocks Christmas.
This second card uses the smaller elements from the clear stamp set to create an all over pattern. It looks a bit like festive wrapping paper and I used a scalloped stitched edging die to add a bit of interest.
And here is what I have created especially for today.
For my card today I wanted the look of a hanging bauble or wreath. So I stamped the wreath once in Artichoke and turned it slightly and stamped again with Evergreen to make a full looking wreath. I then die cut using a circle die & punched a small hole for the twine.
I embellished with the pinecones & trio of berries from the set, but paired a little leaf from Autumn Serenade and a trio of enamel dots.
As you can see in this last photo I adhered the bauble to the card using foam tape for a smidge of dimension and added a little red ribbon bow to finish.
Do you hang a seasonal wreath on your door?
I normally do at Christmas, but I have yet to locate the one in the loft! In the past I made aa fresh one, but it's been a while since I had time to do that!
Today's giveaway is the Rustic Wreath clear stamp set & I'll include a couple of other goodies as well. Thank you for all the lovely comments & support so far for this fun series. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.

Love the crisp look of the wreath on the circle, Bev, and adding a fancy edge to a CAS panel is such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI have a very simple wreath in one of my decoration boxes that I usually hang in a place where we can see it from the kitchen/dining area. If we were to put it on the front door, no one would ever see it. š

Just fun ways to use that stamp set (one I don't believe I have) ... thanks for sharing your Christmas joy with us.
ReplyDeleteThis wreath is gorgeous! I LOVE your CAS design Bev! I don't currently have a wreath up because I threw mine out last year and forgot to buy another one in after Christmas Sales... so I'm on the look out :)
ReplyDeleteThese are all fantastic!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are all fantastic! I love the versatility shown!
ReplyDeleteA lovely set of cards, the hanging wreath is a great idea. We have a wreath on our front door - it's one I bought at a craft fair many years ago and is made of lots of different size pine cones.

Gorgeous cards with this beautiful wreath! I have admired this set for quite awhile! Love the way you created the panel with the scalloped edge using a small stamp from the set! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI do put an artificial pine sprig wreath on the door for Christmas.
The wreath is perfect in the 2 colours and a great design. I have not put mine out on the door as yet
ReplyDeleteAll cards look beautiful. I love the clean and simple style of the last one. I do not hang a seasonal wreath on my door. Over here in Germany we have a wreath with 4 candles usually lying on the table or somewhere else. The candles are lit on each of the 4 Sundays before Christmas one after another. Best regards Nicole
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely set. I’ve tried stamping a do it yourself wreath, without success, but yours is a perfect size, and so pretty, and with all the other useful elements in the set. I love your designs too. We have an unusual front door that is difficult to place a wreath on, so I normally hang one or two indoors. One is a treasured stuffed quilted hand made gift from a dear friend. Christmas is full of memories xxx
ReplyDeleteLove these cards Bev! That’s a great idea hanging the wreath. I always hang a wreath on our front door. š„°
ReplyDeleteLovely cards! Yes, I do use a wreath I made from silver tinsel.
ReplyDeleteWow, such beautiful wreaths. We have always some seasonal wreaths on our door.
