12 Days Of Christmas Inspiration & Giveaways - Day 9 Season Of Beauty

 Hello & Happy Monday.

Today I thought I would start the week with some festive florals and a stamp set which is often overlooked, Season Of Beauty. I definitely think it is a clear stamp set that needs to be seen in action to see its creative potential.

I thought a lovely frame idea would create a fun focal point, so I used a rectangle die to create a frame from a piece of white card measuring 10.5 x 14cm. I then mirror stamped the foliage on my frame by using my stamping platform.

I adhered the frame to my card bas using foam adhesive and then added a couple of the layered Poinsettia flowers, one tucked in the frame and then one outside. I stamped the flowers in Ballet Slipper, Poppy and Cranberry. The foliage and leaves are stamped in Evergreen, Avocado and Parsley.

As usual I will have a video over on Uniko's YouTube Channel with another card using this set later today. I am having a couple of technical issues and waiting for some IT assistance from my husband!

The giveaway today is the Season Of Beauty Clear Stamp Set. My question to you today is, are you green fingered and do you have festive indoor plants like the poinsettia?

  1. Beautiful frame design with this pretty set! I love the foliage and poinsettia flowers!
I do keep several plants in my house, but no poinsettias. I do really well with some other kinds of plants, like African violets.

  4. I’m definitely not green fingered lol. Hubby on the other hand is and we have a range of indoor plants but not the poinsettias. Although I was admiring one at the supermarket the other day. Your card looks very pretty 😍

  6. Beautiful framed card Bev 😍. I love my garden, but have no time or interest in indoor plants any more, it’s enough looking after the garden, which I enjoy looking at, despite the weather!

  7. A lovely card - poinsettias are one of my favourite Christmas images. I'm not particularly green fingered, but always have a poinsettia at Christmas.

No, I don't think I have green fingers.

  9. I am not green fingered at all. I wish I was but I seem to just kill the plants I touch but I do like them. Just normally in pictures in my house.

  10. Gorgeous, Bev...absolutely gorgeous! Our tree (artificial) and a few holly sprigs (also artificial) are the only festive greenery we have. As much as I'd love poinsettias, they're not good for Miss Lily, our mini schnauzer.
