Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Beautiful Butterflies

Morning all, 

Happy to be here today with some Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration and I am absolutely in love with these combinations of Uniko stencils and gorgeous Uniko stamps.

Here I have used the inner stencil from the Uniko English Country Garden Butterflies stencil bundle. I have ink blended around the outside using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink. Once dry I stamped the Uniko Pure Florals: Peony and a sentiment from Uniko Birthday Sentiments stamp set using black ink. Finally I added some Nuvo drops.

My next card uses the outer stencil from the Uniko English Country Garden Butterflies stencil bundle, this time using Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks. Again I have used the Uniko Pure Florals: Peony stamp and the sentiment is from the Uniko Birthday Sentiments stamp set. Again I have used some Nuvo drops to add interest to the right hand side of the butterfly. 

For my final card I have used the inner stencil from the Uniko Tropical Leaf #2 stencil set and ink blended with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide. To keep the Butterfly theme I used the Uniko English Country Garden - Butterflies stamp set and again the Uniko Birthday Sentiments stamp set for the sentiment.

Stencil Sunday - BIG & BOLD and Soft & Pretty!

 Happy Sunday!

It's been a while since I did a Stencil Sunday feature, so I thought I'd share a couple more cards I made using the 2 new stencils released on Friday. If you missed the release day fun, you can catch up HERE.

For my first card today I have used Tropical Leaf #2 and Squared. I've been wanting to try this technique for a while using two stencils and took it a little further by creating kind of spotlight effect.

First I used Crushed Olive Distress Oxide ink through the monstera leaf. I then positioned the squared stencil and inked through with Forest Moss Distress Oxide ink. 

I love a bit of fussy cutting, so trimmed out my leaf. I then decided to use the squared stencil on my base card. So I positioned where I wanted the leaf to go and placed the squared stencil over the top to line up the squares. I taped down one edge and removed the leaf to stencil the background using the same Forest Moss ink.

It was then easy to line up and adhere the leaf using foam adhesive. I thought the Wish Big sentiment from Simply Said Blocks III was quite apt to pair with this grand monstera leaf! 

For my second card today I have gone soft and pretty pastels using Scattered Polka Hearts to create a congratulations card.

I love the small detail blending brushes you can get, they make for easy ink application when you want to create a rainbow effect with small stencils. I used a variety of Altenew light shades of ink to randomly colour the heart background.

I then stamped, fussy cut and adhered the floral heart from Always & Forever to the panel using foam adhesive. The sentiment is from Everyday Sentiments and I stamped it in a medium grey so it stood out, but wasn't quite as harsh as black.

That's all from me today. Though with all the rainy weather we have had this weekend, I have made quite a few cards I will be sharing over the coming days!

July 2022 Reveal, Release & Brand Ambassador Blog Hop!

And lastly, but by no means least another big statement tropical leaf, the monstera leaf. This leaf creates a bold impact statement on its own, but also breathes new life into so many previously released Uniko products. I can't wait to see the combinations you come up with.

Introducing... Stencil Tropical Leaf #2

Hello & Happy Wonderful Wednesday! 

There is no hump day here at Uniko, as today we are back with another fun product introduction for our mini July 2022 Release. 

Today we are welcoming a new stencil design, Tropical Leaf #2, the Monstera. You might have gathered from previously released stencil designs, including Tropical Leaf #1, how I love to supersize the image. I just couldn't resist supersizing the Monstera from Paradise Leaves! 

My mum had very green hands, and had wonderful indoor and outdoor plants. Maybe as she studied botany? But what I do remember is the large Monstera we had in the front room, it was stunning, so the memory of this was part of the inspiration for this stencil.

Let's get to the creativity and inspiration from the Brand Ambassadors, I know that's what we are here for and I know you won't be disappointed!
