Christmas *almost* in July Sneak Peeks!

Happy Monday!

Here at Uniko we are kicking off a new week and due to life delaying things, starting August with a new release.

So let's get to the sneak peeks 😃

First up an Ink & Flip Stencil addition, the STAR of the show we have all been waiting for! This one is a fun one for sure.

Next I have a new fun addition to the Rustic Christmas series...

I think this one completes the collection perfectly making for a wonderful festive trio. It's also been a hit at my last couple of Stamping Retreats.

It's probably no surprise that I'm quite partial to a layering stencil these days. So I couldn't resist bringing a fun new twist to the Season Of Beauty floral in stencil form. I think you'll love this one not just for your Christmas card making, nut all year round.

And lastly, but by no means least a new fun Background Builder...

Again, this does have a definite nod to the festive season, but I also can see it being used all year round.

That wraps up the peeks and although it's small, all the products pack a festive punch and are so versatile. I do hope you will find time to join myself and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors from tomorrow as we start the introductions.

All these products will be available at 9am BST Saturday 8th August 2026.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Christmas in July and a FB VIP reminder

Hi, Julie here with a quick reminder that there is still time to enter our FB VIP Challenge on the theme of Christmas!

I was thinking what I could use for my inspiration when I can across some Gelli plate prints I made some time ago and it got me to thinking, what could I do with them? I had also recently seen a video on You Tube by Ardyth making a swing card, so I thought I would have a play. Here is my end result.

The Gelli print was made using the Let it Snow stencil and Distressed Oxides in Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserve which I pimped up with an extra layer in White Gold watercolour paint.

I made a 41/4" square base card from white card and then trimmed my Gelli panel to 33/4", glueing it around the edges only, the reason will become clear next! I die cut a circular aperture using a circle die from The Greetery and removed the two layers. As I hadn't glued the center down, I could use the center of the panel for the middle of my card! To make it stand out against the other panel, I added more Seedless Preserve DOx and then die cut a slightly smaller circle from it, this was then glued to my white circle.

To create the center of the card, I cut a panel of white card 4"x 8" and then scored it at 21/2", 41/2" and 61/2". The rest of my Gelli panel was cut into 2 strips 33/4" x 13/4" and glued them to the two middle panels.

The largest panel was glued to the right of the center fold of the card and the smallest to the left of the front panel. If you follow the link Ardyth explains it so much better!

I cut a Snowflake using the Sparkling Snowflake die but it was too large to fit through the opening, so I trimmed it down and added it to my pink circle. The sentiment from Pattern Building Christmas Tree stamp set was stamped in Picked Raspberry DOx and added before I glued the the die cut onto the inner panel. Again Ardyth explains it wonderfully!

Ardyth says that she is obcessed with this design and I must admit I am too!!

So if you haven't joined in over at FB why not have a play and join us there?!

Happy crafting!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Christmas In July!

Hello again friends, I'm here with another card to inspire you and celebrate Christmas in July with Uniko!  Today I'm using the Background Blocks: Scandinavian Christmas stamp along with a sentiment from Pure Florals: Poinsettia stamp.

For my card I gold heat embossed the background blocks stamp onto a dark rich green card and added 4 layers of the gold frame for some dimension.  I stamped and gold heat embossed the sentiment onto the green card and used a die to cut it out.  I added it with foam squares to the bottom left corner and finished off with some gold pearls.  A fairly simple card but it looks so beautiful and shiny in real life.

Bev along with my fellow Brand Ambassadors will be sharing Christmas in July inspiration all throughout the month and there will be a giveaway PLUS a new release - how exciting!

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to check back for more inspiration.

Love and hugs,

Win it Wednesday - Christmas Scramble

Happy Wednesday.

Gosh, how did we get to Wednesday already? First week of the school summer holidays and I already feel like I am chasing my tail keeping up with everything! Hence why I am a little late with today's card and Win it Wednesday.

I managed to squeeze in 10 minutes to make this card...

I'm always inspired when restocks arrive and I couldn't resist inking up Background Blocks Christmas Scramble for this quick and easy, plus fairly mass produceable Christmas card.

I started by stamping the block in VersaMark and heat embossing with Polished Gold EP. I then highlighted the letters with a Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend to make them stand out against the red card stock. To finish I adhered the panel to a white card base.

As it is Win It Wednesday I am giving away this clear stamp.

Simply comment on this post here or across Uniko's social media by the 31st July 2026 for your chance to win. Winners announced in August and an alternative prize to the same value will be offered ONLY if you already own this stamp.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Christmas Ornaments!

  Hello everyone!

Happy Friday!

Vinta here and back with another inspiration card on Christmas theme for Uniko!

I combined Layering Bauhaus blocks stencil set with Mid Century Modern Baubles stamp set to make my ornaments.

To make my Christmas Ornaments, I used the Altenew inks: evergreen, caribbean sky, midnight violet, red royal and fresh peach. hickory smoke archival ink. The flower is from the Flower Power #12 stamp set.

The sentiment is from the Most wonderful stamp set and created snowy dots using my white gel pen.

Have a wonderful day!

Happy crafting!

Christmas in July!

It’s that time of year again, Christmas in July!

If you’re anything like me it’s always a rush to get those cards finished up in time for Christmas, so I love to get a head start in July.

I went for non traditional colours for my card this time, I love how bright and colourful it turned out. It was so quick and easy to make too so great for production lines and mass producing.

I started out by stamping the wreath in the middle using the mid century modern wreath building stamp set. I started with the black lines and added a light green ink next with the block stamp. I then moved it around a little to heat emboss some gold over the top.

I made the berries and wreath and off centre stamped the colours to the outline. Fussy cutting everything out and added foam tape to add to my card base. Then finished off with the sentiment and mounted it on some hot pink cardstock to match the pink bow and that was my card finished up!

I love how it turned out and it would be so easy to make a set in different colours. It’s a fun stamp set that can be used to make modern and more traditional cards and definitely going to be a staple in my stash.

Win it Wednesday - Come On England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Happy Wednesday.

It's still kind of Christmas in July here at Uniko, with a twist. I used the Stencil - Ink & Flip Christmas Star to create a good luck card for the England team tonight ⚽️

I simply used white pigment ink through the stencil and made it a little more solid by heart embossing with white embossing powder. My sentiment choice is from Everyday Spring Sentiments as I didn't have a Come On England one!

Maybe that will change if they win the world cup.

As it is Win It Wednesday I am giving away this stencil, plus a secret add on that's coming at the end of July.

Simply comment on this post here or across Uniko's social media by the 31st July 2026 for your chance to win. Winners announced in August and an alternative prize to the same value will be offered ONLY if you already own this stencil.

Good Luck Lads & Come On ENGLAND!

Christmas Tree Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday.

Today I decided to dust off the Stencil - Ink & Flip Christmas Tree Pattern for this clean & simple Christmas card.

I started by cutting two white card mat layers, 9.5 x 13cm and on one I inked the stencil with my new favourite colour combination, Basil and Berry Kiss. I then trimmed the panel into a triangle and adhered it to the other mat layer.

To finish I added a Berry Kiss die cut bow and a sentiment from Christmas sentiments before adhering to my white card base. Though there were a few steps to this, I think this would be pretty easy to mass produce.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Christmas in July Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Deck The Halls

Bonjour !

Izzy here and I'm back with a new inspiration card for celebrating Christmas in July with Uniko !

For this new inspiration I chose to combine an old set, Rustic Wreath (soon back in stock), with a stencil of the last release Ink & Flip Chevron Duo.

On a double white card, I simply stamped the different elements of the set Rustic Wreath to make the wreath. Then I separated the card with a line of gold heat embossing in order to make the stencilling.

I used the Ink & Flip Chevron Duo with red Distress oxide ink because the pattern reminded me of candy canes. But in the end, I think it looks more like floorboards ! 😄

To finish my card, I simply chose the sentiment from the set that went perfectly with this scene.

Well, that's all from me today. Thanks for joining me and hopefully I've given you some inspiration. And remember, if you like the products of my two inspiration posts, they will be very soon back in stock.

Have a lovely day and thank you for stopping by.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Christmas in July!

 Hello to all!

Happy Sunday!

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

Uniko is ready for some Christmas inspiration card in July in advance! And at the end of the month, some new festive release to celebrate the Christmas in July, Be ready!!!

Vinita is here with my Christmas inspiration card.

I created a Christmas card in abstract geometric style which has modern and vintage feel on it.
If you see deeply there is a big Christmas tree in this triangle pattern! So much fun with the Ink & Flip Triangulate stencil and techniques.
On a white panel, I started stenciling some of the triangles randomly using Rich Cocoa Memento ink and vintage photo Archival ink. Then I flipped the stencil and inked some triangles in cottage ivy Memento ink. I created a big triangle as Christmas tree. Then I added Gold texture paste for my abstract triangle pattern. I added some splatters too for more texture and interest. The sentiment is from the Mid Century Modern Christmas stamp set.
I finished it off with some foiled sequin stars.

Have a wonderful day!

Happy crafting!

Christmas In July Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Scandinavian Christmas

Bonjour !

Izzy here with an inspiration card for celebrating Christmas in July with Uniko !

To make my card I imagined a Christmas present and to do it I choose the beautiful set Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas, which will be soon back in stock (if not yet !) and here is what I came up with.

I simply stamped twice the block on tow pieces of white card stock and I coloured them with coloured pencils.

On the back of another piece of card stock I attached the thread in order to make the bow on the front and I flat adhered this piece on a double white card.

To finish, I cut the two images and I foam mounted them on the double card. I thought it was not necessary to add any sentiment on the top, and I will stamp the appropriate one when I will send it (just in a few months !).

Well, that's all from me today. Thanks for joining me and hopefully I've given you some more inspiration to start your Christmas stash. I will come back soon with more inspiration.

Have a lovely weekend and thank you for stopping by.

Festive Friday, BA Inspiration using MCM Baubles stamp set and stencil

Good morning, Julie here with a card for Uniko's celebration of Christmas in July!

It's a great opportunity to get my Christmas card stash up as I've been a bit remiss in making them thus far! Here's a design I made using a mixture of MCM Bauble stamps and the matching stencil.

I'd seen a card on Pinterest where the front of the card was covered with die cut Christmas baubles and thought I could use the stamp and or stencil to get a similar effect.

On an A6 white card panel, I created rows of interlocking baubles using one of the baubles MCM stencil using a mix of Distress Inks, before adding the centers with one of the detail stamps from the matching stamp set. I thought I could add more dimension by adding a darker area over the white embossed detail. To achieve this, I stamped the shape from the stamp set onto some scrap paper, then traced over it onto a piece of acetate from some packaging and cutting away the center to create a stencil.

Hangers were added with sparkly platinum WOW EP and some really old holographic gems were added to each center. As the background was so detailed I kept the sentiment simple, Season's Greetings from Christmas Sentiments, stamped with black on white and mounted on black.

That's all from for today but please check out some of the other BAs and Bev for more Christmas in July ideas!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Christmas in July!

Hello friends and welcome to my first post celebrating Christmas In July with Uniko! Today I'm sharing a clean and simple layout using the gorgeous Rustic Wreath stamp set.

I cut a white panel 3 3/4" x 5" and stamped the wreath twice using two different shades of green ink.  I used some of the smaller images in the set to fill in my wreath (berries, acorn and leaves) using red, brown and a Christmas pine ink.  I stamped the sentiment below the wreath using black ink and finished off with some gold pearls.  A really quick card suitable for mass producing but it looks so elegant.

Bev along with my fellow Brand Ambassadors will be sharing Christmas in July inspiration all throughout the month and there will be a giveaway PLUS a new release - how exciting!
Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to check back for more inspiration.

Christmas in July - Win it Wednesday & a Winner!

Happy Wonderful Wednesday!

My goodness its a warm one here in the NE of England 🥵 Another heat wave has landed and it's been a challenge working today. Hence my late post as it is cooling down ever so slightly in the studio.

Today I dusted off Rustic Wreath, as this little beauty is due back in stock in the next week or so. It feels like its been ages since I used this set, so it was nice to ink it up again.

As you can see I crazily opted to stamp and heat emboss the wreath in WOW! Polished Gold EP. Not the best crafting technique to do in a heat wave 🤣

I then added a little accent, which is sneaky sneak peek at something coming at the end of the month. You might recognise the bow, but its a miniature version of the one you know and love from Mid Century Modern Baubles. I added a few Autumn Red Nuvo Crystal Drops to accent and one of the sentiments from the stamp set.

How about this stunning green card? This is the new Concord & 9th Basil colour and I love it.

Anyway, thats all the inspiration I have to share today, so how about a little prize. I have a spare set of the Rustic Wreath to give away to one lucky comment left here on the blog or any social media post I share this card on.

Comment by 31st July 2026 and I will randomly select a comment. Winners will be posted at the start of August. If the winner already owns this beauty an alternative prize to the same value will be offered.

AND before I go and lay in front of the fan again, I have randomly selected a winner for the June 2026 Release Brand Ambassador Hop.

Congratulations to Jane D, please send me an email to bev@uniko.co.uk to claim your prize 🎉

Be sure to stop by the blog tomorrow for more Christmas in July inspiration.

Festive Floral Friday

Happy FriYAY!

Today I have a festive floral card to share with you. This card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest HERE and I put my own spin on it.

I decided to dust off and give some fresh inky love to Flower Power #12. I started by drawing a light pencil line down the centre of my 10.5 x 10.5cm card panel and then stamped the outline flower in Cranberry ink. I then stamped the centre flower in Poppy ink and the trio of dots into the centre of the card.

I've had this little bow die on my die magnetic catcher for a while waiting for the perfect project to be used on. I think the die was a Neat & Tangled one from years ago...?

I die cut the bow elements from a piece of scrap card as close a match to Cranberry ink and adhered it to my card. I added a little white heart embellishment and my sentiment from Simply Said Blocks Christmas

I can't wait to share a new version of this card at the end of the month with a new product. Anyway, that's all I have to share today.

Happy Christmas in July!

Hello & Happy July.

I'm sorry, not sorry! It's that time of year again for Christmas in July. This month there will be lots of festive inspiration, a few giveaways through the month and a NEW release.

Today I am kicking things off with a quick clean & simple idea to get more use out of your alphabet stamps, I used Alphabet Solid.

I started with a Poppy card panel measuring 9.5 x 13cm and I stamped the word CHRISTMAS in Cranberry ink on the left side. To be able to space evenly I started with the IST in the middle.

I then stamped and heat embossed the merry from Festive Sentiments in white embossing powder to compliment the solidness of the Christmas.

To finish the card I adhered the panel to a white card base. This card is perfect for easy mailing, always a bonus at Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by today & Crafty Hugs
