Super FREE Saturday & Uniko Studio Challenge #10

Hey & Happy Weekend!

It's been quite a while since I last launched a Super FREE Saturday collection, but today sees the next collection available for download for FREE from the Uniko Studio website HERE

I had a little brainwave whilst designing this collection and decided it would be fun to coordinate the collection with the current Uniko Studio Challenge #10 HERE. This will make is super easy for everyone to join in on the challenge.

How about a look at the collection...

As you can see I've kept it really simple, it is a printable JPG available in A4 and US letter size. It features all the colours and the theme for this months Uniko Studio Challenge HERE.

Now I've created a couple of cards to show you it in use...

This first  card is SO simple, in Photoshop I used my marque tool to select the circle image and pasted it into a separate document and then I simply printed the document and trimmed it to size and mounted it onto a lilac card base.  Below is a close up of the image...

For my next card I used one of the journal cards...

For this card I printed the A4 sheet of designs & fussy cut out the journal card I wished to use. I also trimmed the Thinking Of You sentiment. The current Freshly Made Sketch layout seen HERE and below lent itself perfectly for this card.

Below is a close up of the detail...

I'd LOVE you to download the collection and join in on the challenge, don't forget the winner of the challenge gets a £10 Gift Certificate to spend in store and a Guest Design spot on the blog!

I hope you've enjoyed today's cards and like this new SFS collection :) That's all from me today, but I will be back tomorrow with more to share, until then, thank you for stopping by today.

Super FREE Saturday - Simple Bloom

Hey!

I'm SO glad you stopped by the blog today as I've a little Bank Holiday treat in store for you all :) Yep, it's time for another Super FREE Saturday...

This Super FREE Saturday collection is called Simple Bloom and it can be downloaded for FREE via the Uniko Studio website HERE. Simply register if you haven't already and download the file - easy!

This digital collection contains one Simple Bloom image and one sentiment which come as a PNG file and as a Photoshop Brush. Plus 3 digital patterned papers which can be printed both A4 and US letter size.

How about a card showing you how I've used the collection...

I clustered a trio of blooms in the lower left of my document in Photoshop, added the sentiment and printed it out. I then used my Prisma Colour pencils and Gamsol to colour them in before trimming and mounting.

If you download the collection and use it I'd LOVE to see your projects, why not upload them to the Uniko Studio Flickr Group HERE or send me a link to your project on your blog or you can even email me a photo!

That's all from me this morning, I'll be back later today with another SFS card to share with you all. Enjoy!

A bit of Extra Time ...

Hey!

So I found a little bit of Extra Time to play with the Extra Time stamp set! Continuing the theme from yesterday I am taking each stamp set available from Uniko Studio and creating some NEW projects using them whilst also looking back at projects I made when they were first released!

So, we're using Extra Time ...

This set was created as an additions set, but it has a LOT of potential just using it on it's own. It contains a yummy clocking in card which is a perfect journalling card size. It also contains more clock faces and an assortment of sentiments.

How about a card for the girls? Girls you say...with this set..? Yep, you can girly this up quite easily with a limited amount of accessories and the right colour choice ...

I started out with a piece  of Fine Linen card stock & stamped the clocking in card over it with Fine Linen ink. I then die cut the scallop circle so it hung slightly off the edge. I then used some removable adhesive to hold it in place on the base card while I stamped the clock face inside. Before adhering the fine linen layer to the card with foam adhesive I wrapped around some Calypso Coral bakers twine & tied a bow. A die cut flower & small banner sentiment embellished with rhinestones finished the card of nicely!

Next up is a CAS card for the boys ...

My guy doesn't like a lot of fuss so I often keep this in mind when creating cards for men. I kept it simple by using one shade of green and a neutral white. I even kept the clock faces fuss free without any hands! I like the simplicity!

How about a couple of cards from when this set was released back in February ...

I want to mention one more product available from Uniko Studio which coordinates with todays Extra Time stamp set & Time from yesterday...

This digital paper collection features images from both the Time & Extra Time sets. It is a great addition  to have and provides even more possibilities when using your stamps...

This is a new card I created using a couple of the papers from the set paired with stamps from Extra Time. It's not my usual style and has a bit too much going on with pattern and colour mixing, but it's good to step outside of your comfort zone once in a while...right?!

Here are a couple of cards using the papers when I first released them...

Hopefully I have inspired you a little bit more with this set & shown you that you can girly up a masculine set with a few graphic flowers, selected embellishments and colours! Plus a few more ideas for those often hard to make for men in our lives?!

All the products shown today are available from the website HERE! Thanks for stopping by today.

A Multitude of Doilies!

Hey!

Today I have another card set to show you ...

Again this card took me less than 10 minutes to make so I made a whole batch to put together as a gift set. I'm trying to get a few products together for Designers Marketplace in December. It seems ages away but I know it'll creep up on me if I don't start doing the odd thing!

Here's a close up ...

Using a neutral colour scheme I paired various doilies from The Hands Of Time - Decorative Doilies and paired them with sentiments from Time and Extra Time. A simple button tied with jute finished the sentiment panel off.

Here's the set ...

I've just the insides to finish which will be a kraft mat layer left blank and then the packaging to make them presentable!

That's all from me today, thanks for stopping by!
