Clean & Simple

Hey & Happy Monday!

I do hope your week has got off to a lovely start. Its been a beautiful day here in the NE of England and it's helped me feel energised to tick a few more jobs off the list!

I've took a little crafty break & come back into the studio to create this clean & simple card...

I needed a little mojo boost so used a couple of challenges to spark the creativity. The first challenge is the current Crazy for CAS sketch seen HERE and below.

I was inspired to dust off a few sets that hadn't seen daylight for a while on my card, Decorative Doilies - The Hands Of Time and Background Builders: Lattice and paired them with a sentiment from A Gift For You.

As I kept it Clean & Simple it fits perfectly into the soon to be ending Addicted to Stamps & More! challenge HERE. I added a few SU! sequins for a little sparkle to finish it off :)

I've been busy in the studio today preparing for the August Release & to make room & also to celebrate little Prince George's 1st Birthday there is a Summer Sale over on the website HERE. Why not grab yourself a bargain or treat yourself to a set on or wish list?!

That's all I have for you today, but I will be back tomorrow with more to share & until then, thank you for stopping by today :)

Supplies
Card Stock: White (Boyes)
Ink: Avery Elle Aquamarine, Raspberry & Mimosa
Stamps: Uniko Studio A Gift For You, Background Builders: Lattice & Decorative Doilies - The Hands Of Time.

Birthday Stripes

Happy Sunday!

How are we all today? Did you enjoy the Super FREE Saturday yesterday? If you missed out on the fun you can check it out HERE. There is still plenty of time to join in on the first Uniko Studio Challenge HERE too, I'd LOVE you to join in (it would make me VERY happy to see a few more entries).

Anyway, I do have a super simple birthday card to share which would be suitable for either gender...

I saw the current Addicted to Stamps & More! challenge HERE and they have this lovely inspirational photo shown below to create from.

Now, I don't own any stripe stamps and I wanted my card to be mail friendly & flat so I got creative. I used the back of one of the background building stamps from Background Builders: Round In Circles, totally not my invention, I have seen it done many a time, but never actually gave it a go until now!

What do you think? I'm pleased with how it turned out and it's definitely a way of stretching those supplies. My card also fits into one of the challenges over on Moxie FAB World HERE. Check all the birthday challenges out in the sidebar.

Today is my first full day in London and Kerry & I are meeting up with a friend Wendy who owns the Stamp Attic and we are spending the day with a little FREE pampering session at Joe Malone & lots of chatting & giggles I expect!

I hope you all have a FAB day & thanks for stopping by today :)

Super CAStastic!

Hey!

Today I have a Super CAStastic card. Yep, I like to invent words and I think that my CAStastic is appropriate for this card...

Now, I didn't time myself but I can safely say that this card took me about 5 minutes to make & I'm really pleased with the result even if I do say so myself! LOL!

I used the same 'lil Christmas Tree stamp as yesterday from Label Love: Christmas but this time I paired it with the Merry Christmas from Pure Florals: Poinsettia. I used the same a.muse twinkle stickers this time in 2 pink colours. There is 2 blue colours in the sticker collection so I can make 'boy' cards too!

This CAS card is mail friendly as it's only a one layer card. It's also perfect for the current Addicted to Stamps and More challenge HERE which is a Clean & Simple Anything Goes challenge!

Think I will whip up a few more of these before I create something else. Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs

Card Stock: PTI Soft Stone
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black

Seeing RED!

Happy Weekend!

Though the title of this post might suggest I'm angry, I'm not seeing red in an angry way, I've kinda had thing for the colour red this week & it all started on Monday with a new pair of red shoes and the current Addicted to Stamps & More challenge HERE. So, I made another red & white card...

I used the current Freshly Made Sketch seen HERE and below for the layout of my card and I'll be using this again as I've already another card in mind. This card also fits into the current CASology Thanks challenge HERE.

Ok, I had better get back to work, there's a Uniko Studio Release happening next week & I'm sure you will LOVE to see some samples using the products & what a line up there is!

Thanks for stopping by today, have a great day!

I {Heart} Butterflies!

Hey!

I'm back today with a couple of butterfly cards to share with you as I {Heart} Butterflies! Both of my cards are CAS which fit perfectly into the current Addicted to Stamps challenge HERE.

Here is my first card...

I started out by printing a sheet of paper from the BRIGHT Butterflies Additions digital collection and used a PTI Mat Stack die to die cut the shape. I then used a PTI Butterfly die to die cut the butterfly shape. I stamped the 'Hello' sentiment from Time and added some linen thread and a button.

For my next card I decided to use the supplies I had out and left from my first card & came up with this card...

I used the same LO but used the die cut butterfly from the first card! Great way to use supplies already out on your desk.

That's all from me today as I am still feeling a little 'delicate' after the Hen weekend in Edinburgh! Thanks for stopping by!

Lattice Love

Hey!

Happy Weekend! Have you any inky plans this weekend? I hope to get a little inky and spend some time in the studio making a few NEW projects.

I'm back today however with the next instalment in the previously released product focus and my focus today is Background Builders Lattice...

This is a FAB building set which uses the trendy lattice/quatrefoil image - yum! So how about a few NEW projects using this set...

Keeping it Clean & Simple for this minty fresh beauty for the Moxie FAB World Minty Fresh Challenge HERE and also the Addicted To Stamps CAS Challenge HERE

I started out by masking off 2cm at the top and bottom of the card base I stamped one of the Background Builder Lattice stamps in Fresh Snow ink. I then took a piece of white card stock stamped and embossed another of the Lattice designs using fine detail white embossing powder. I then used one Distress Marker colour to create a monochrome ombre effect on the 2 layer butterfly.

Here's a close up ...

Background Builders Lattice also has a digital downloadable paper collection called Modern Lattice available HERE and seen below...

I had to use my FAVE paper from this collection for my next card, the tiny floral paper and kept it CAS to keep in line with the Addicted To Stamps CAS Challenge...

I selected some Soft Stone card stock to use as a mat for the patterned paper before adhering it to the white card base. I left a gap to break up the patterned paper collection and to create space for a sentiment from Time. The die cut flower is a Memory Box die and die cut from card stock which coordinates with the collection.

Now you've seen some NEW projects using this set & digital paper collection how about some oldies but goodies...

As you can see from this card the lattice pairs superbly with the graphic flowers from Time! This next card uses one of the single stamps contained in the set and uses paper piecing one of my FAVE techniques with these smaller stamps...

This card uses one of the patterned papers contained in the Modern Lattice digital paper collection along with the butterfly from English Country Garden digital stamp set and a sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday.

That's all for today using Background Builders Lattice and Modern Lattice digital paper collection. I hope you've enjoyed todays post?! I'll be back again tomorrow with another product focus or two. Thanks for stopping by.
