Brand Ambassador Inspiration - One sketch, three occasions

 Bonjour !

Izzy here. I had fun this weekend playing with one sketch and giving some love to my Uniko stamps to make cards for three different occasions.

Here is the sketch from the current challenge over at CAS(E) this sketch...

... and here are my cards.

I needed a Birthday card for one of my friend who celebrates next week. For this first card I decided to play with the Mid Century Modern Squares stencil for the background and the Pure Florals: Peony clear stamp set.

I placed the stencil on the white card base, I applied some VersaMark through it before heat embossing with gold powder.

Then I cut two windows in a white panel so that the stencilled pattern can be seen through. On a separate scrap of Bristol paper I stamped the bloom and I coloured it with some Zig brushes.

I stamped the sentiment on the panel before foam mounting it on the card base. To finish I fussy cut the peony and I adhered it on the card with some adhesive foam squares.

For my second card, I chose the adorable Sweet Baby set. By the way, this set is currently on sales !

On a square panel, I stamped several times the bold sentiment with a rainbow ink. I aleatory stamped in black the tiny bear on top. From this panel I cut two parts that I flat adhered on the double white card.

On a scrap of paper I stamped the teddy bear, I coloured it with Promarkers, I fussy cut it and I finally foam mounted it on the card.

For my last card I decided to go with a Christmas card. It's never too early to make Christmas card, isn't it?

I made the plaid pattern with the Background Builders: Christmas 2018 set, the Background Builders: Classics set and some Catherine Pooler inks.

Once again I flat adhered the two parts on the double card and I foam mounted this adorable Santa made with the Jolly Christmas stamp set.

For the sentiment, I used one of the stamp from the Background Builders: Christmas 2018 set.

You can see here the versatility of the Uniko products and I hope you will use yours to play with. Why not use them to come and play to our last challenge HERE ?

Thanks so much for visiting Uniko. Take care and have fun crafting at home !

Stencils and Sewing - Brand Ambassador Inspiration

Hello Friends, Rahmat here. I am up with some more stenciling and sewing. Today I have used Uniko stencils for this.

For the first card I chose the Mehndi Mandala stencil and inked it up in black soot distress ink, and then pierced the holes along the negatives around the design to add stitches. I stitched a green flower sequin for the center.

I then trimmed the panel and added green glitter strip to the top and bottom.

The sentiment is from Birthday wishes set.

The second card is made using the Natures treasure II stencil and mask
I used a circle mask and then added the leaves around it.

I inked these leaves in fall colors, and then added the stitches with a brown floss. I used outlined start sequins to stitch around the circle to create a frame.

The sentiment is partly from stash and the the "friend" is from All Occasion sentiments #3.

I hope you like the inspiration today and do try out this, it opens up a whole new possibilities with the stencils.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind feedback. Have a great day!

Celebrate In Style!

 Hey & Happy Tuesday!

I shared a peek of this card over on the unikoltd Instagram yesterday and I have finally found a little bit of time to share it here with you all :)

As usual it is a clean and simple card and I was inspired by all the recent orders of Background Builders: Seeing Stars and Sentiments Outlined to combine them and make this masculine card.

It's hard to see in the photo, but when I stamped the sentiment I made a little blip. The awesome thing about this style of font I've used for the sentiment, is that I could colour inside the lines to cover up the blip and avoid wasting it!

I used The Stamp Market inks for this card in Cobalt, Peony, Melon & Citrine.

Fingers crossed I can squeeze in some inky crafty time this evening, I'm itching to use some florals that haven't seen ink for a while!

Until next time, stay safe & well.

Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration

 Hello!

It's Jane here today with some ideas using Uniko stencils and the BIG & BOLD stamps.

Now we all like to have a quick and easy card up our sleeves for those times when we're pressed for time. And stencils are just the best for these occasions.

For my first card I've combined the Seeing Stars stencil with the BIG & BOLD Wish stamp and matching die.

I used three colours of distress oxide inks to create the background and then die cut the wish from card to match the base card.

I then stamped the rest of the greeting straight onto the card - crooked! So what do we do to cover these mistakes? Yep stamp it again onto scrap card and pop it up on foam pads to cover up the mishap!

And this card pretty much set me up for the rest of today's cards. I more or less used the same design for each of them.

This card uses the In The Forest stencil and the BIG & BOLD Happy stamp and matching die.

It was as I was cleaning up the stencil for the star card that I realised there was way too much ink left on to waste. Too late for that card but for the next two I spritzed the stencils and took a negative print and got a bonus card made with very little extra effort.

My last card uses the Pure Florals Chrysanthemum stencil and the BIG & BOLD Hugs stamp.

So what do you think? Are you liking the more subtle effect of the negative print or are you a bold and more defined sort of person? Whichever you decide I hope that I may have given you some ideas for combining stencil backgrounds with sentiments and that you'll be inspired to have a play yourself.

Thanks for looking today, I'm really grateful for your time.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Jane
