Masculine Monday, Card Of The Week AND a Winner!

Hello & Happy Monday. 

How are we into the second half of June already? The days and weeks just seem to be going by so fast. But I'm back in the studio today after a jam packed weekend to kick this new week off with this week's Card Of The Week.

Continuing with masculine makes for June, I chose this card from way back from February 2014 when Explosion! was originally introduced. 

This small but mighty clear stamp set packs a punch and is perfect for masculine cards. As always this clear stamp set is 15% off this week in the Card Of The Week section on the website.

I'm going to have some fun inking this set up again this week and I'll be sharing inspiration across social media when I do.

Beautiful Blooms & a Winner!

Hello & Happy Thursday.

I'm finally getting round to announcing the winner of the October 2023 Release in Review, Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & Giveaway we had HERE. I know I am late, I have a terrible memory 🙈 but better late than never, right? 

Anyway, before I get to the winner I have a card to share...

I was inspired to make this card with the recent restocks of Background Blocks Nautical Stripes and Beautiful Blooms II. I can't think that I have combined Beautiful Blooms I flowers with many Background Blocks, but I am almost certain I've not combined it with this one. But I am super pleased how well they go together. 

Background Blocks Nautical Stripes is pretty easy to line up and fill a strip down the front of a card base. I did use my stamping tool to make it a bit easier. I then stamped the blooms and leaves, adding some colour shading using the Rock 'n' Roll technique. The images are die cut using the Designer Dies Beautiful Blooms I. 

I finished with the smile die from Uniko's Exclusive Picked Posies Collection, only available at CraftStash HERE.

In other news...

A fabulous and highly requested bunch of restocks have arrived in the studio, these include Background Blocks Mid Century Modern, Background Builders Round In Circles, Mid Century Modern Florals and Sentiments Outlined. 

The Stencil, Layering Zesty will arrive by the end of the week too. All backorders awaiting this stencil will be posted this week too.

Lastly for today I have a card using the new Background Builders Hearts paired with a sentiment from Simply Said Blocks III.

I'm still on my rainbow colour kick. I've had these hearts stamped and cut for a while, it's just taken me longer to decide on an arrangement! Do you find that the layout is often the trickiest part of creating?
