Happy Saturday & Welcome to Uniko's 9th Birthday February 2021 Reveal & Release!

Hopefully you have enjoyed the Sneak Peeks and Introductions to the new products I have shared with you over the past few days. I've certainly had fun playing with all the new goodies ;)

Okay, let's get to the bit you've been waiting for and formally introduce the NEW clear stamps & stencil designs.

PLEASE NOTE:- To protect my designs and discourage the blatant theft of them, there is a watermark over the top of the product image. This makes the image appear that the lines are not solid. I apologise for the inconvenience and ensure you that this is not part of the design or physical stamps you will receive. To see what the stamp/s look like when stamped, please have a look at the samples in the product gallery. Thank you for your understanding.

This is the LAST day to take advantage of the 10% discount too, so be sure to add the discount to your order on checkout. With the high volume of orders I will unfortunately not be able to go back and refund you for the discount once you have placed your order.

Right, I think that is all of the intros and announcements! How about a few more samples using the new goodies to entice you ;)

First up I created this fun card using Background Blocks Solid Wonky Stripes paired with Background Blocks Wonky Stripes and some grunge diamonds....

As you can see these stamps, although they are both Wonky Stripes they have been designed slightly differently! BUT the effect of overlaying them is super fun and adds such a neat effect.

I've stamped the solid stripes in an ombre effect of aqua colours and over stamped the wonky stripes in black. I added a few grunge diamonds and a sentiment to make a fun masculine card.

Next up today is this fun one layer card using Background Builders: Delightful Diamonds. As you can see I have used my 'go to' colour combo with a little grey and black too! I just find these colours so easy to work with.

I started by stamping the sentiment from Floral Vines and then built the pattern around and up the side of my card. I added a little grey colour detail to the striped diamond and while doing so I was thinking how beautiful it would look coloured rainbow style!

Time for a some florals...

For this first card I wanted to show a different way that the floral vine banner could be used by creating a floral border along the edge of a card. Again I used Copic Markers to colour and this time I added the Just For You sentiment along with a few of the circle embellishment stamp.

Next I have used one of the accent stamps from Framed - Floral Vines to create this all over pattern design that looks just like patterned paper.

Again I used my favourite colours and this time I was testing out some new to me inks, a trio from My Favourite Things in Fine Coral, Caribbean Sea and Butterscotch. Like many of the inks these days they are the soft foam style pads and again I am impressed with their coverage.

I used the trio of circles from Floral Vines stamped in grey to fill in some of the gaps and add a little more detail. I then added a simple Happy Birthday sentiment foam mounted.

Lastly for today I wanted to show the FREEBIE Uniko Floral stencil on a card...

This is a 3 x 3 " stencil and as you can see it is a lovely focal image size. I've simply inked it in pink added a Simply Said Blocks birthday sentiment and added a few accent circles from Floral Vines.

I hope you like this little freebie?!

As you can see it's just me today, so there is NO Release Day Brand Ambassador Blog Hop or Giveaway. We will be having a Release in Review Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY in March, so stay tuned. However, I will be selecting at LEAST one random comment to win a prize!

Introducing... Floral Vines and Framed - Floral Vines

Hello & Happy Weekend!

Welcome to Day 3 and the last of the 9th Birthday February 2021 Release product introductions. If you missed any of the sneak peeks, you can catch up HEREHERE and HERE. AND you can catch up HERE and HERE with the first two days of product introductions!

Today I am introducing the last two of the new clear stamp sets for this release, Floral Vines and Framed - Floral Vines.

So lets have a look at these in action...

First up is Floral Vines. This is a mini £5 set that contains one half of the floral vine frame and a mix of everyday sentiments in this fabulous font.

For this one layer card I simply stamped the floral vine image to create a nice framed area for my sentiment to sit inside. I've coloured the flowers with a selection of bright Copic Markers which really makes this card pop.

Next I have a card using the next in the framed series, Framed - Floral Vines. I decided to make another one layer card.

For this I have simply stamped the frame and coloured with Copic Markers and used the same Happy Birthday sentiment from the Floral Vines set.

There is more to these two sets, some more sentiments contained in Floral Vines that I haven't shown and some accompanying images that I have yet shown from Framed - Floral Vines. To see those you will have to pop back tomorrow for the full reveal on RELEASE DAY!

Short & sweet from me today as I prepare for the release tomorrow! Until then, I'd love to know what your thoughts are regarding these sets and how you might use them! might even select a random comment to win a prize.

Introducing... Background Blocks Solid Wonky Stripes and Background Builders Delightful Diamonds

Hello & Happy Friday!

Welcome to Day 2 of the 9th Birthday February 2021 Release product introductions. If you missed any of the sneak peeks, you can catch up HEREHERE and HERE. AND yesterday I kicked things off with a highly requested stencil introduction, Uniko Stencil Pure Florals Gerbera. Be sure to catch up HERE.

Today I am introducing two of the new clear stamp sets, Background Blocks Solid Wonky Stripes and Background Builders Delightful Diamonds.

So lets have a look at these in action...

First up is Background Builders: Delightful Diamonds. Like all of the previous geometric Background Builder clear stamp sets I have released this set features a selection of long building stamps and a variety of smaller stamps.

For this first card I was heavily inspired by a recent Mid Century Modern pattern I had seen and that used these vibrant and cheerful colours.

I would have not necessarily of added the lime green & orange into the mix, but I really love this combination. I combined the 'burst' stamp from Mid Century Modern Florals into the mix, along with a sentiment from another new set being introduced tomorrow.

Next, I wanted to use one of the longer building stamps from the set to create this fun border along the edge of my card. I decided to continue with some of the same colours.

I stamped the solid diamond pattern twice along the edge in lime green and it was easy to do it by eye, so I didn't use my stamping platform. I then used the grunge style diamond in a slightly darker shade of green to add some detail over the top in a couple of places.

This time I paired Balloon Bash with the diamonds and added the same grunge detail to the fussy cut balloon. Loving this new sentiment and I can see myself using it a lot!

Next, I decided to get inky with Background Blocks Solid Wonky Stripes. Like with all the previous Background Block stamps, this is a 6.5 x 9.5 cm block of pattern and it is super quick to make cards with!

I almost always use my stamping tool when using Background Block stamps, especially those with more solid areas. For this first card I selected bright and cheerful colours to stamp the block and it is such a happy result.

I love getting new stamps to play with and I love even more to look through my stash to see what to use with them. As you can see I have used the large butterfly from English Country Garden Butterflies. It was lovely to give some fresh inky love to this stamp set!

Again, I have snuck in a peek at another of the new sentiments being introduced tomorrow! Another of which I can see getting a lot of inky love.

For my last card today I decided to create a fresh Spring green card. I used a couple of green inks and varied where I applied the ink when repeatedly stamping it to get a nice coverage on my card.

I've then added the same sentiment and this time gave some fresh inky love to one of the leaves from Natures Treasures II.

That's all from me today, I will be sharing more of these sets on Sunday, RELEASE DAY! Until then, I'd love to know what your thoughts are regarding these sets and how you might use them! I might even select a random comment to win a prize.

Introducing... Stencil Pure Florals Gerbera

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Welcome to Day 1 of the 9th Birthday February 2021 Release product introductions. If you missed any of the sneak peeks, you can catch up HERE, HERE and HERE. I am kicking off with a highly requested stencil to add to the Uniko Pure Florals line up, the Gerbera!

Pure Florals Gerbera was Uniko's first Pure Florals stamp set and it remains a popular sell out in the shop, hence why it is currently unavailable. Converting the flower to a stencil took a little bit more work, but it was totally worth it and I am over the moon with how it has turned out.

Let's have a look at it in action...

Super clean & simple for my first card today as this Gerbera is born to shine and have full focus! As you can see it is quite a delicate stencil, much like the previously released Uniko Pure Florals Chrysanthemum Stencil

To keep some of the detailed parts of the stencil from moving and not needing to use stencil adhesive, I inked from the centre of the flower outwards using my brush. In doing so I achieved a really nice depth to the pink colour with minimal effort!

With Mother's Day fast approaching, I added the Happy Mother's Day sentiment from Simply Said. I was also heavily inspired by Uniko's brand colours.

For my last card today I went a little less clean and simple...

This time I decided to pair the Gerbera with the Large Background French Script to almost create a pretty piece of paper that has been written over the top with fancy handwriting.

I used the same colours to ink my stencil and the same process of inking from the centre outwards to achieve the beautiful depth of pinks.

I thought it would be nice to show you the size of the stencil against my card. It is a 6 x 6 inch stencil, so like the Chrysanthemum it is grand and will take centre stage on your projects. Below is a comparison with the Pure Florals Gerbera stamp! So quite a size difference.

Short and sweet from me today, but I think this Stencil pretty much speaks for itself in its beauty! I'd love to know what your thoughts are regarding the stencil and how you would use it. I might even select a random comment to win a prize.

Don't forget, there is still time to join in on the Birthday Linky Party HERE and also enter to WIN the HUGE Prize HERE!

Until tomorrow, thank you for stopping by.
