Christmas in July - Win it Wednesday & a Winner!

Happy Wonderful Wednesday!

My goodness its a warm one here in the NE of England ðŸ¥µ Another heat wave has landed and it's been a challenge working today. Hence my late post as it is cooling down ever so slightly in the studio.

Today I dusted off Rustic Wreath, as this little beauty is due back in stock in the next week or so. It feels like its been ages since I used this set, so it was nice to ink it up again.

As you can see I crazily opted to stamp and heat emboss the wreath in WOW! Polished Gold EP. Not the best crafting technique to do in a heat wave ðŸ¤£

I then added a little accent, which is sneaky sneak peek at something coming at the end of the month. You might recognise the bow, but its a miniature version of the one you know and love from Mid Century Modern Baubles. I added a few Autumn Red Nuvo Crystal Drops to accent and one of the sentiments from the stamp set.

How about this stunning green card? This is the new Concord & 9th Basil colour and I love it.

Anyway, thats all the inspiration I have to share today, so how about a little prize. I have a spare set of the Rustic Wreath to give away to one lucky comment left here on the blog or any social media post I share this card on.

Comment by 31st July 2026 and I will randomly select a comment. Winners will be posted at the start of August. If the winner already owns this beauty an alternative prize to the same value will be offered.

AND before I go and lay in front of the fan again, I have randomly selected a winner for the June 2026 Release Brand Ambassador Hop.

Congratulations to Jane D, please send me an email to bev@uniko.co.uk to claim your prize ðŸŽ‰

Be sure to stop by the blog tomorrow for more Christmas in July inspiration.

Floral Friday - Flower Power

Happy FriYAY!

Today I have a couple of Flower Power cards to share with you. I decided to do a display board for shows that showcased just Flower Power stamps and I needed a couple more.

First I inked up Flower Power #1 to make this clean and simple card.

I used Buttercup for the flower and then added some Honeycomb using a dauber for the centre giving it a fun two tone look. I then used the coordinating Flower Power Designer Dies to cut it out.

The stem and leaved, plus the sentiment I stamped onto a arch die cut, I used Spellbinders Essential Arch dies. I then thought it needed a little something else so added the trio of flowers stamped in Honeysuckle to the lower right corner of my base card.

Next up I inked up Flower Power #5

This one has just come back in stock after a spell of being MIA, so it was nice to give this one some inky love again.

Again I used the coordinating Flower Power Designer Dies that match Flower Power 1 - 6. I then coloured with some Stampin' Up! Blends. Another bright and cheerful design.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope to see some of you at Crafterama Kent tomorrow.

Throwback Kindness 🌸

Happy Throwback Thursday.

This week I've been busy prepping for Crafterama Kent and I gave the Uniko display boards a little refresh. I was looking through card samples and came across these two using Kindness Blooms.

I remember making this one where I stepped out of my comfort zone with some water colouring. And this card has sparked some creative mojo.

And here is the second card I found.

This card was actually inspired by a card I made using different, now retired products and it's an unusual colour combination for me when using flowers.

I'm looking forward to making time to create some new cards using this stamp set, hopefully it'll be soon!

That's all from me today, but be sure to check out the VIP Facebook group for the latest challenge.

Colourful Gerbera Throwback

Happy Throwback Thursday.

Today I am sharing another card we made at one of the May Uniko Stamping Retreats. I originally made this Pure Florals Gerbera card in August 2012 and this is the original.

Originally I used Papertrey Ink colours, I loved these inks back in the day. And the sentiment is from a retired Uniko stamp set called Fontiments.

Here is my remake...

This time I used Concord & 9th inks in Honeysuckle, Oceanside and Buttercup. I also used a stamping platform so I could add a little highlighting to the flower centres using Spiced Cider which I dabbed onto the stamp using a dauber.

My trio of panels are slightly larger too, this was a good choice as I could stamp more of the flower. My sentiment choice is from Floral Vines

It was fun recreating an older card. Especially with the advancement of paper crafting tools, I didn't have a stamping platform back in 2012. Plus, I've learned some fun techniques over the years too.

That's all from me today.

Introducing... Block Party Love

Happy FriYAY!

I am so excited to share the final product introduction for the January 2026 Release. One, because it's an awesome stamp. But also because it means tomorrow is release day!

Today myself and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors are here to introduce Block Party Love. The next in the Block Party series of stamps which are inspired by the retro Subway Art trend.

You might know I have a love for fonts and images and this is the perfect way to combine both. The Block Party stamps are super popular and are great for creating those quick, mass produceable cards. I hope you love this one as much as I do.

Let's have a look at it in action.

Bev

I really hope you have enjoyed this week as much as I have and you are excited for release day tomorrow. All the products will be available at 9am GMT and as tradition holds we will have our release day hop.

Uniko's Top 25 Products of 2025 - Number 4

Happy Sunday.

I'm getting close to revealing the number one product of 2025, but today I have the number 4 top selling product of 2025 determined by sales. And that is Background Blocks Mid Century Modern.

Again, I am delighted to see this stamp in the top 25, especially when it was released way back in May 2019.

I've been a bit slack on creating this past week or so, I've been caught up tidying and organising the studio. Plus purging lots of crafty stuff I've not used for a while. You can check out what I am selling over on my Vinted profile HERE

So, again today I am sharing some of my favourite makes using this stamp.

Just like many of the Background Blocks in the Uniko inventory, this one is perfect for those masculine makes. Use it as an instant focal point background stamped singly, or as an all over pattern like I have done on this first card.

Here I have paired the background with the Stencil - Mid Century Modern Shapes and Alphabet Outlined.

The stamp is also fun to use in a more abstract way, like I have on these next two cards. Plus it is easily feminised with flowers, especially Mid Century Modern Florals.

This stamp isn't going anywhere and will be back as soon as possible. Plus, it is definitely on my list to ink up more next year and I am sure it will appear in a fun feature I have planned for 2026.

I need your help in making some room on the shelves in the studio for restocks and newness coming in 2026.

If you're not signed up to the Uniko Newsletter you might not have seen this BLOWOUT SALE! It's not one to be missed.

I'll be back tomorrow with number 3 of the top 25 of 2025.

Uniko's Top 25 Products of 2025 no.15 - 11

Happy Festive Friday.

Welcome back to this months fun feature on the blog, Uniko's Top 25 Products of 2025. If you've missed the first few posts you can catch up HERE, HERE and HERE

Today I am sharing products no. 15 - 11.

Coming in at number 15 is the Stencil - Mid Century Modern

It's been ages since I inked up this stencil, so I gave it some fresh inky love. And my card was was inspired by this image I came across on Pinterest.

It took quite a bit of masking to achieve a similar look, but I really love how this turned out. I inked all the lines with Parsely.

Then I added the Christmas tree pot using the stamp from Pattern Building Christmas Tree and the sentiment from Simply Said II. To finish I added some enamel dots.

Next is the Stencil - MOD Background Builder Circles coming in at number 14.

And here are a couple of my favourite makes using it.

First up is this fun, bright and cheerful card pairing the stencil with Mid Century Modern Purrfect Day. I love using it as as a backdrop to the focal point.

And this second card shows the stencil used with its Background Block MOD Circle Builder counterpart. I love this offset look.

Coming in at lucky number 13 is Background Blocks MOD Builder.

And here are a few of my favourite makes.

Uniko stencils have been really popular this year, as coming in at number 12 is the Stencil - Ink & Flip Diamonds.

And here is my favourite card I've made using this ink & flip.

Lastly for today is Background Blocks Waves which comes in at number 11.

And two of my favourite makes using the stamp, as I couldn't choose just one!

That's all from me today, thank you for joining me.
