Uniko & Simply Cards & Papercrafts!

Hey!

It's a miserable rainy October day here in the NE of the UK, but I have some news which has brightened my day & hopefully yours too! 

I'm super duper excited to share my latest digital stamp collection and feature in Simply Cards & Papercrafts...

Yep, along with 2 releases in a row and the NEW Uniko Stencils, I've been busy again behind the scenes here at Uniko and designed this collection of 5 digital stamps. See them featured in Simply Cards & Papercrafts issue 169. The issue is out and available to buy today from most leading supermarkets and shops who sell magazines.

The digital collection is available to download HERE. 

You might recognise some of these images from now retired Uniko clear stamps, but I have revised them slightly and refreshed them. I've also added in some current Uniko imagery along with a fun new curved holly design, which I have used on one of my cards featured in the magazine.

I hope to share a few more projects using this collection soon, but in the mean time I'd LOVE to see what you create if you download and use the collection. Coloring on Kraft - A short video

CAS Colours & Sketches #245 - Colours

Hey!

I'm late, I'm late, but what's new with that?! This twin mummy is rarely on time for anything these days! Apologies for my being late, but let's see what Emily our hostess for October at CAS Colours & Sketches has to inspire us with THIS week... 

I had quite a few ideas on how to apply the colours to my card, but as time to create has been really short, I went for a simple colour block look...

Card stock is one medium I always have the Stampin' Up! colours in, so this made it easy to use all 3 quickly and simply. I am having SO much fun with the Uniko October 2017 Release and one of my favourite clear stamp sets is Organic Wishes. 

I simply stamped the seed heads, stems and sentiment in VersaMark ink and I have heat embossed them in Cosmic Shimmer Detail White EP. Super quick and simple!

October 2017 Reveal, Release, Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

It might be Monday, but it is a HAPPY Monday here at Uniko HQ, as it is FINALLY release day! All the products and sneak peeks at brand spanking NEW products are now available HERE to purchase.

FINALLY, Uniko is excited to be launching their first 6 x 6 inch stencil designs, made exclusively here in the UK.

They are 190 micron Grade A mylar making them flexible and strong enough for repeated use with inks, paints and texture pastes.

Our first exclusive stencil design is based on the popular and sell out Background Blocks Scattered Polka Dots. The randomly scattered polka dots are 0.7cm in diameter.

Introducing... Organic Wishes

Hey & Happy Sunday!

I look forward to seeing any of you that might be attending Stamp Magic in Doncaster today :)

Anyway, let's get back to the October 2017 product release and introduce the final clear stamp set.  If you have missed days 1 - 4 you can catch up HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE!

Today's clear stamp set was inspired by some doodles that DT member Lindsey sent me and I got to working and Organic Wishes was born...

This set features a selection of modern seed heads and wishes sentiments. It is designed in a similar style to Originally Organic and Originally Organic Additions as well as having small features found in Uniko Style and Natures Treasures. 

The double stem stamp from the set comes as two vertical lines, but I have designed it so that they can be easily bent to angle them in your desired direction, like I have to the right on my card. I've done some simple masking and ink blending to create a Autumn inspired ombré background. The sentiment is one from the set.

Introducing... Background Blocks Wonky Stripes

Hey & Happy Weekend!

I'm SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the October 2017 product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks and we are now onto day 4 of the product introductions. You can catch up HERE, HERE and HERE with day 1, 2 and 3.

Today the Design Team and I are introducing the next stamp in the Background Blocks series called Wonky Stripes.

I decided that my first card using this new background called for my favourite trio of colours and the Uniko Style flower to create a quirky thank you card :)

The background block is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copic Markers. I then used my MISTI to stamp the large and small solid Uniko flowers and heat embossed the white circles. These and the sentiment from Simply Said Blocks are fussy cut out and adhered to the card using foam adhesive. I added some large black enamel dots for the centres of the flowers.

Uniko Sponsors "Less is More"

Hey & Happy Weekend!

I'm super duper pleased you have popped by this morning as today the countdown to the October Release continues AND myself and Uniko are proud to be sponsoring the challenges over at "Less is More" this month  - YAY!

This week is one layer week and the theme is stars, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to create another Guest Design / Sponsor card!

It seemed totally appropriate to ink up Background Builders: Seeing Stars clear stamp set from the September 2017 Release and I just *had* to pair it with a NEW Uniko Stencil being released on Monday - whoohoo!

Can you tell that I am just a little excited about this new product?! 

Last weekend I treated myself to some more Distress Oxide inks and I have used Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry with this fun Wonky Stripe stencil. I did some simple masking on my base card before applying the ink and blending them to create a lovely purple shade too :) I still nee a little practice with stencils, but I am loving these inks! 

I then used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment from Festive Sentiments and the stars in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed them with Stardust EP. The birthday sentiment is from Happy Succulents and I went in and added a few tiny stamped stars.
