Feeling Better ...

Hello!

So sorry to have left you hanging for the past few days with no new cards to share with you all, it's been a little crazy here in The Studio what with work deadlines and being unwell at the same time isn't a good mix.

I'm back today on form with a CAS card ...

For this card I used the current Play Date Cafe Challenge colours seen HERE and below and also the current Less Is More Challenge which is a sketch seen HERE and below...

The colours screamed flowers to me so I had to use the Pure Florals: Gerbera stamp set and paired it with a sentiment from Extra Time. The colours are so cheery that I felt it to be a get well card, it certainly cheered me up to get back to stamping for the blog here.

Thats all from me today, thank you for stopping by.

Freshly Coloured

Hey!

How did we get to Thursday?! This week is going by way too fast. It's been a busy one this week in The Studio but I'm managing to squeeze in a few challenge cards here & there! The card below is just one I squeezed in last night before calling it a night ...

I started out with the current Freshly Made Sketches sketch HERE and seen below. I knew I wanted to use the Gerbera flower for the 'any shape' part of the sketch! I'm loving using this flower at the moment, has anyone else used it in a creation yet? I'd love to see what you've created & how you have used the flowers.

I then needed a colour combo so decided to use the current ColourQ colours HERE & seen below. Now the Brilliant Blue scared me some what! I love the colour blue but such a bright blue is VERY bold & it needed to be used sparingly! So I used it as my card base & matting it with White CS. I did use it for the stamped sentiment from TIME which works really well.

I'm pretty chuffed with how this one turned out, I thought it was going to be quite iffy when I started out but it came together nicely! Here is a close up ...

I apologise for my Whites not being a White White in the photos I must sort my camera settings out properly. I can hear my brother tutting as I type that I haven't got it set right.

Well, thats all from me today, I'm sure I will be back tomorrow with more to share. Thanks for stopping by today.

Three in One ...

Happy Sunny Tuesday!

Did we all survive Monday?! I did as I had a day off in the sunshine all be it a little windy to spend some TIME with a friend shopping, eating & chatting! It's back to work today though, however the sun is out & it feels like Summer has arrived!

Anyway, onto todays card ...

For this card I have combined 3 challenges, yep that's right my brain coped in this challenge itself! Haha must be the rest it has had recently! So I started out with the current Retro Sketch HERE & seen below.

Then I needed some colours to inspire me so I used the current CR84FN Challenge HERE & seen below.

And then into the mix I added the current 'Less is More' challenge HERE of adding sewing to my card. I did this by adding some faux stitching to my mat layer of Kraft CS. Feeble attempt at this challenge but I've got a few ideas so may have another go at this challenge later in the week!

Well, I had best get going & do some work. Thanks for stopping by today.

Geometrics

Hello!

Sorry I was MIA this weekend, I needed to let my muscles rest a little so I didn't get any crafting done. It's helped a bit but I'm still in a bit of pain. I have however this card to share with you which I made a while ago ...

This card LO was inspired by one I'd seen on Pinterest, such a wealth of inspiration there! Below is the card I saw ...

When I first saw the card I was going to use Decorative Doilies - The Hands Of Time but when I printed the papers from the Pure Florals: Gerbera Digital Download, these 3 colours looked so lovely together so I had to use them! Now I have made the card and see it here on the blog, I wish that I had cut the papers so that the flowers lined up in a continuous pattern as they would have if I had used just one colour. I guess that's the OCD in me!

I hope to have more to show you tomorrow, thanks for bearing with me & stopping by today.

Soft & Summery

YAY ... Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope you have all survived the working week! I have just about, the last few days have been a bit painful, pulling a muscle in the left side of your chest is not good! Anyway, it has not stopped me crafting & playing with paper, ink & stamps! I have blocked the pain out as I sat & made this card ...

I saw the new colours over at The Play Date Cafe and had to join in. The colours are shown below & HERE

I really surprised myself with this card & used way more of the yellow than I intended. I thought I would have used more of the mint colour as I an a bit of fan of that colour, but it's only appearance on the card is in one little button form!

I used PTI Lemon Tart CS for the base & panel as So Saffron was not quite the colour I wanted. I stamped the solid Gerbera from Pure Florals:Gerbera in Regal Rose & Calypso Coral onto White CS and fussy cut them out. It was quite therapeutic. The sentiment is from FONTiments - Birthday and the buttons are Melon Berry, Aqua Mist & Hibiscus Burst from PTI. I finally added a little bit of bling for good measure!

Thats all from me today, but I will be back tomorrow with more to share. Thanks for stopping by.

Dynamic Doilies!

Hey!

I'm back today with a card to share in which I have incorporated 2 challenges. It's not often that my brain can cope with more than 2 challenges, there is always SO much going on in there! Ha! I guess I have cheated my brain a little as I am reusing THIS I Spy Sketch but I have used different stamps & a different colour combination.

Whilst blog hopping about the other day I came across another challenge blog called Dynamic Duos a colour challenge blog. The colours HERE & shown below contains one of my FAVES Baja Breeze. I use this colour a lot when designing Uniko Studio Digital Download Paper Collections

For my card I used one of the solid doilies from Decorative Doilies - The Hands of Time and a sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday. Now, FONTiments doesn't contain a 'wish' in that font it is 'whishes' so I just partial stamped it to make the sentiment I wanted a bonus of using clear stamps!

Nearly the weekend, it's looking like Summer may arrive here in the UK this weekend so I can't wait! I NEED me some vitamin D! We have another bike ride planned so I'm looking forward to that. Do you have anything exciting planned for the weekend?

Thanks for stopping by.

'Krafting' with colour

Hello!

It feels like it's been a while since I joined in with a ColourQ challenge so when I saw the new colours to work with yesterday this card happened ...

Kraft, you gotta love some Kraft! About a year ago Kraft was my White! I used it all the time but feel I have neglected it so you might be seeing it a lot more! The colours in this challenge were screaming for me to use the NEW Pure Florals: Gerbera stamp set!

Here is the colour inspiration ...

Hope to be playing with some NEW NEW Uniko Studio goodies in The Studio today! It might just be what I need after a trip to the dentist!

Catch y'all tomorrow, thanks for stopping by.

Lets Strip!

Hello!

Don't worry it's not an explicit post, I'm just referring to the current challenge over on CAS-ual Fridays! The challenge is to use strips of colour or pattern on your creation.

This challenge is perfect for using the NEW Eclectic Mix Summer digital papers! I used 3 of the paper designs contained in the collection on my card today. I love the bright colours contained in this collection so used a Tempting Turquoise card base & a Melon Mambo stamped  sentiment to complement the papers. The daisy is a Stampin' Up! Sizzix die paired with a Memory Box die & a SU! brad. I chose the sentiment 'Wish' from FONTiments - Birthday as I'm wishing everyday that Summer would arrive!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Lucky No.3

Good Monday Morning!

How are we all? I hope your all good & that Monday has gotten off to a good start. My Monday mornings seem to come round SO quick after my Fridays! Anyway, I'm back today with a Lucky No.3 One Layer Wonder card to share with you all.

The current challenge over on "Less Is More" HERE is a one layer card which features 3 of something...

My card features 3 flowers & 3 gems! The number 3 is my favourite number so I just had to join in with the challenge! I'm reusing a card LO I have featured before HERE & I also incorporated another challenge into my card which is the current Spark Your Creative Spirit Colour Challenge HERE & seen below.

The stamps I used for my card are the medium graphic flower from Time and the sentiment is from FONTiments - Birthday.

Thats all from me today, but I will be back tomorrow, same time, same place! There is much to be done today in The Studio as I have some wedding invitations to finish & some NEW stamp designs to finalise!

Thanks for stopping by.

I Spy ...

Hey Friends!

Happy Sunday to you all, I hope your all having a lovely weekend. I'm back today to share a card I made for a new to me sketch challenge blog. I was blog hopping about the other day & came across I Spy Sketches.

I saw this current sketch HERE & seen below & knew I had to play along!

The clock faces from TIME & EXTRA TIME were calling to be used for this sketch!

Once I got started piecing the card together once the clock faces had been stamped and punched out the cogs in my head started turning & I think you'll be seeing this LO again, possibly some TIME soon! Lol!

Short & sweet today, but I'll be back again same TIME tomorrow!

Yummy Colours!

Hello Friends!

I'm back today with a card which features a yummy colour combination! I saw this colour combo HERE at The Play Date Cafe & knew I had to make a card using them ...

Here's my card ...

I used a Clean & Simple sketch as the basis for my card but I didn't stick to the sketch completely. I haven't made a square card for ages, it was nice to break the trend!

Here is the sketch ...

I hope your all having a lovely weekend, thanks for stopping by.

2 Little Words...

Hey!

Happy Friday to you all.

I'm back today to share a couple of cards that have 2 little words on them ... Thank You. When I was little my Mum used to make me & my brother write Thank You letters to everyone who sent us a Birthday or Christmas present & also if we ever got money of our Nana or Great Aunts. We used to think it such a chore to write them, but now I love making, writing & sending Thank You cards!

So I made a couple using the NEW Pure Florals: Gerbera clear stamp set ...

This first card was SO quick & easy to make you could soon whip up a batch of these. I used some Making Memories Ledger DP and simply stamped the Gerbera outline & sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I matted the ledger panel with some white CS before adhering the panel to the card base using foam adhesive.

For this next card I used one of the solid Gerberas and the largest solid leaf. For the flower I used the Rock 'N' Roll technique using Autumn Rose & Raspberry Fizz ink from PTI. The leaves are just one solid green colour & I can't remember what colour I used!

The card started out with a white CS base & then I cut a panel of Autumn Rose CS 1.5 cm smaller than the white card base front. I then trimmed the panel so I had a large top piece and small bottom piece. After adhering the panels to the card base I stamped the sentiment & layered the leaves & flower using foam adhesive to adhere the flower.

These two cards fit perfectly into the Moxie FAB World Thank You card challenge HERE. Thats all from me today, THANK YOU for stopping by.

First up is a card using the horizontal striped patterned paper from Eclectic Mix Summer Digital Patterned Paper Collection. The sentiment is from Pure Florals: Gerbera

Next up is another bright, cheery & summery card using Pure Florals: Gerbera...

For this card I used Calypso Coral, Pool Party & Pear Pizzaz to stamp the Gerbera. The sentiment is from FONTiments - Birthday. It's not quite a one layer card but it's pretty close!

Thats all from me today, I've errands to run and orders to ship which makes it a HaPpY day! Thanks for stopping by today, I will be back tomorrow with more to share.

The final reveal for the July Uniko Studio release is another digital downloadable paper collection ...

Eclectic Mix Summer Digital Paper Collection £2.00

Eclectic Mix Summer digital downloadable paper collection is what it says, 'a eclectic mix of patterns'. The collection contains polka dots, chevrons, herringbone & striped patterns in a BRIGHT Summery colour combination. They are perfect for all kinds of projects & occasions not just Summer!

The colours contained in this collection coordinate with Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise & Certainly Celery.

Now I have made all the formal introductions how about a few projects using the NEW products ...

This first card uses the side view linear Gerbera stamp. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink & coloured it using my Copic markers. The sentiment is also from the Pure Florals: Gerbera set & is just one of the many combinations contained in the set.

For this second card I combined the Pure Florals: Gerbera clear stamp set with the coordinating Pure Florals: Gerbera digital patterned paper collection. I chose one of the multi layered designs and cut a strip to adhere to a Pink Pirouette card base. I then stamped the sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday in Memento Tuxedo Black in the lower right corner. I then used the front view linear Gerbera stamp and stamped it on white CS and cut it out. I adhered it to the card base using foam adhesive and used a small amount of Crystal Stickles to the centre of the flower.

Below is a close up of the detail ...

For my next CAS card I combined Eclectic Mix Summer digital patterned paper collection with FONTiments - Birthday stamp set.

I selected the chevron paper from the collection and adhered a strip to a White CS base. I then cut a panel the same height as the card base but 3 cm smaller in width and stamped 'happy birthday' in SU! Bashful Blue & Certainly Celery, which are 2 of the colours featured in the paper collection.

For my last card today I have used the Polka Dot patterned paper from the Classics Summer digital patterned paper collection. I paired it with another sentiment combination from Pure Florals: Gerbera which is stamped in SU! Regal Rose. The doily die cut is created using PTI's doily dies and the flower is a Memory Box die Petal Party.

I hope that you have enjoyed the reveal post today. Don't forget to pop by the Design Team blogs to see what they have created using the NEW products. All the products you have seen today are available for purchase HERE on the website.

Thank you for stopping by & all your lovely comments leading up to today. I will be back tomorrow with more creations to share using the NEW products released today!
