The Saturday Show!

Hey & Happy Saturday!

I'm back with the February & 8th Birthday Edition of, The Saturday Show! The blog post I dedicate to my awesome customers.

I absolutely LOVE seeing what you all create using Uniko products, it makes me so happy to see you enjoying my designs and the new and creative ways to use them. As much as I inspire you, YOU ALL inspire me too.

I have seen SO many amazing cards using Uniko products this month. So here are just a few that have stood out to me that I have spotted around social media, blogs & Uniko's 8th Birthday Linky Party HERE.

Okay, so how about these first two cards from Carole, from Card & Cake. Carole has been a wonderful customer at Uniko for many years and I was delighted to meet Carole at Happy Stampers  Festival the first year & I think every year since I had a stand there :)

Don't you just love it when you find a stamp combination and layout you love, to then be able to create two cards with subtle differences.

This combination of Background Blocks Pinstripe, Sentiments Outlined & You Are, Yes You clear stamp set is perfect. I am loving these cheerful Spring colours too, that really pop against the monochrome stripes.

Be sure to pop on over to Carole's blog HERE to see more wonderful creations.

Next, I had to share this Beautiful Blooms II beauty by Vinita, I just LOVE seeing older Uniko clear stamps being given fresh inky love.

I particularly love how Vinita has used the bloom to create an all over pattern seen inside the circle die cut & then accentuated the design with a single bloom. This card really shows the capabilities of a small stamp set.

Be sure to head on over to Vinita's blog Made With Love N Care, to see more beautiful creations.

Next I wanted to share a card by a new follower of Uniko, Dhruvika. Dhruvika doesn't own any Uniko clear stamps yet, but this didn't stop her from participating in the Uniko 8th Birthday Linky Party using one of Uniko's FREE Digital stamps.

I have designed quite a few digital stamps and collection for various magazines now and although the page does need updating, there are a couple of freebies available for download on the FREEBIES page (link above) or HERE.

Dhruvika has been wonderfully creative with the Crocus flower from the Spring Botanicals digital collection from 2017. I just LOVE how she has made the image her own by creating a beautiful cascading bouquet down the edge of the card. The colouring and fussy cutting is AMAZING.

Be sure to head on over HERE to read more about this card and have a look around her blog too. I know you won't be disappointed.

Next I have another card using Uniko's FREE digital stamps, from another new follower at Uniko, Kavya.

I was delighted to be tagged by Kavya over on Instagram with this beauty using one of the images from the Fabulous Florals digital collection from 2016. It is hard to believe I designed this collection almost 4 years ago!

Kavya has given them a fresh 2020's on trend look by pairing the florals with Pantone's colour of the year Classic Blue and the hints of sparkle and gold with the cheerful bright colours too.

Be sure to give Kavya a follow if you are on Instagram.

Lastly for today I have a couple of cards by Nonni, that I spotted HERE on Instagram and also Nonni's blog, Nonni's Handmade Cards.

First is this absolute stunner using Uniko's popular Pure Florals Peony (back in stock soon). The ombre watercoloring is absolutely jaw dropping and really brings this big blooms to life. All the heart eyes for this beauty!

And this, using English Country Garden Butterflies...

How happy and cheerful do these butterflies look dancing across the bottom of the card in those beautiful yellows and orange? The life and movement is wonderful and again, a delight to see this older clear stamp set being given fresh inky love.

WOW! That is a whole bunch of inspiration to get your creative juices flowing, it certainly has mine.

I hope you have enjoyed todays The Saturday Show & you are inspired as much as I am to find time to create today.

The Saturday Show!

Hey & Happy Saturday!

I'm back with The Saturday Show. Those who have followed Uniko since the early years will remember The Saturday Show, where on one Saturday a month I would showcase Uniko Customer creations that I have spotted or been tagged in around social media.

I absolutely LOVE seeing what you all create using Uniko products, it makes me so happy to see you enjoying my designs and the new and creative ways to use them. As much as I inspire you, YOU ALL inspire me too.

So here are a few that I have spotted around social media, blogs & also entered into the current Uniko Challenge HERE.

This first card is by Ashley Hughes over HERE  on @ashleyscrapstamp Instagram. Ashley has used the You Are, Yes You clear stamp set to create this fun and fresh design. I'm loving the blues and greens of these Spectrum Noir watercolours and the simple but really effective focal sentiment banners.

Thank you Ashely for tagging me over on Instagram & sharing this beautiful handmade card.

Next, is this beautiful card by Nancy which I also spotted over on her Instagram @made_by_nananas this week and you can find all the details about the card HERE on Nancy's blog, Nananas.

Nancy has combined the heart wreath stamp from Originally Organic Additions clear stamp set with one of the sentiments from Wonderful Day clear stamp set.

Another fresh design with beautiful blues and greens with little pops of pink in the flowers. This makes me long for the freshness of Spring. I love all the open space and the off the edge design.

Thank you Nancy for sharing this beautiful CAS card.

Lastly for today I have this lovely card by Sue...

Sue regularly enters the Uniko Challenges & always tries to use her Uniko products too. Sue has used Beautiful Blooms III on this card that she has entered into our current challenge HERE. The soft ink blending and beautiful heat embossed images captured my attention.

Be sure to check out Sue's wonderful blog HERE and thank you Sue for sharing this beauty and for joining in on the fun at Uniko.

I hope you have enjoyed todays The Saturday Show & you are inspired as much as I am to find time to create today.

If you would like to be featured on The Saturday Show be sure to #unikoltd #unikostamps on social media so I can find you. If you are not on social media but would like to be featured / have used your Uniko stash please email me a photo or link to bev@uniko.co.uk

The Saturday Show Returns!

Hey & Happy Weekend!

Do you remember the feature I used to do called The Saturday Show? I used to have a lot more time on my hands to peruse the internet and blogland to find and comment on all the wonderful Uniko customer projects. I also liked to choose a few and share them here on the Uniko blog.

Now that I am 'slowly' getting some time back and the beauty of places like Facebook and Instagram especially, I am able to find and see Uniko customer projects more easily :) So I thought it would be nice to kick start this feature again once a month.

So without further ado it's over to YOU...

First up is this beautiful Happy Succulents card by Julia, which I spotted over on Instagram. Those beautiful purple hues are so striking. Thank you so much for tagging #uniko over on IG Julia.

Next are two cards also spotted on Instagram by Julie, a wonderful customer at Uniko for many years  (thank you)...

First this pretty Originally Organic card. The designer paper Julie has paired with the swirly foliage image from the clear stamp set is just perfect. The colours are just so happy and summery too.

This next card by Julie really packs a punch with the bold colours and awesome CAS design...

Here Julie has combined the SUPER popular Background Blocks Halftone with the Explosion! clear stamp set. What a super masculine card, don't you think?

Thank you so much Julie for sharing and tagging #uniko on Instagram.

Next I have some more floral designs to share from Elaine who has also been a loyal customer at Uniko for many years. Elaine never ceases to amaze me with how she uses Uniko's floral stamps...

On this first card Elaine has used Background Blocks Doodle Flower and the emboss resist technique, which is the current game over at AAA Cards. Just look at those happy summery sunshine colours :)

On this next card Elaine has used Pure Florals: Lily paired with a sentiment from Originally Organic...

A beautiful CAS design. The layout, gold embossing and beautiful watercoloring really made this card stand out. Which lastly leads me onto to this stunner...

Just a quirky die cut technique really adds interest and pizzaz to this already beautiful coloured Lily. Be sure to pop by Elaine's blog Craft-E-Place and checkout all the beautiful and inspiring projects.

Continuing the floral beauties is Sharon...

Sharon created this Neapolitan coloured shaker card using Background Blocks Doodle Flower, aren't those colours just scrumptious? A huge congratulations to Sharon for her Top 5 placing for this card over at Passion for Promarkers too :)

Continuing the theme of flowers, Sharon also used the Pure Florals: Lily to make this shimmery beauty...

Just look at the beautiful pink Lily and overall stunning design. Lastly, I have one more card by Sharon I wanted to share...

The die cut curves of this card design really draws focus to the floral heart wreath from Originally Organic Additions. Such a beautiful CAS showcase of this clear stamp set. Thank you for sharing your Uniko creations Sharon and be sure to head on over to From My Craft Desk to be inspired even more.

There seems to be a floral theme occurring, as I share this next card...

This card is by Nonni from Nonni's Handmade Cards and features the popular Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum. This design is beautifully stamped, masked and coloured. The added die cut technique really keeps the focus on the flower but gets the sentiment across. Thank you for sharing this beautiful showcase Nonni.

Lastly and by no means least I have a two cards to share by Izzy from Izzy scrap. Again, I couldn't help but continue this floral theme...

So many of you are enjoying the recently release Pure Florals: Lily and the array of designs show how versatile this set is. Keeping the leaves and buds as black and white outlines really makes the embossed watercolored Lilly POP from the card. The added sentiment helps highlight the warmth from the design too. LOVE this split layout too.

Next up is this Beautiful Blooms III beauty...

Yellow and Grey is a wonderful combintion and I love how Izzy used the colours. The subtle splattering and mirrored stamping of the floral frames the 'happy' sentiment. Thank you for these beautiful showcase's Izzy.

I hope you have enjoyed this months The Saturday Show and I really could have shared so many more wonderful customer designs. It was so hard choosing what to share here on the blog today. I will continue to keep a look out for your wonderful designs using Uniko products and don't forget to #hashtag me using the following, so I can find you!

Don't do social media or blog? Why not drop me an email (bev@uniko.co.uk) with a photo of what you create using your Uniko goodies. I'd LOVE to see them and be able to share them here on the blog :)

THANK YOU to everyone that has purchased Uniko clear stamps and designer dies, you make me so happy and you keep this little business and dream of mine alive. I appreciate YOU more than you will ever know.

The Saturday Show!

Hey!

It's been a while since I did a Saturday Show feature and seeing as I have had little time to be creative myself and wasn't as organised as I'd have hoped to be prior to the beans arriving, I thought I'd share a few customer creations I have spotted around blogland whilst breastfeeding! It's handy having an iPhone to browse the internet at all hours of the day/night to help keep myself awake :)

Anyway, enough chat how about some projects...

This first card is by Sue from A Consuming Passion, isn't the 'wing' treatment of the hummingbird just genius? It's so creative, adds depth to the card and a real life feel to the bird - FAB! Be sure to stop on by Sue's blog HERE for more wonderful inspiration.

Next up are a couple of cards by Sarah from Sazzle Dazzle Crafts...

This first card features the newest Flower Power stamp, which happens to be my current FAVE! I love the cluster of blooms and the colours are so fresh and vibrant :)

This next card was a wonderful surprise to come across, not only because it is truly stunning, but also because it was created with love and as part of a surprise challenge over at the TIME OUT Challenges blog in honour of the birth of Josh & Ben :)

Isn't this card just stunning? The colours and layout are just FABulous and so striking. Be sure to stop on by Sarah's blog HERE for more wonderful inspiration and why not join in on the challenge over at TIME OUT Challenges HERE for your chance to win a £20 Gift Certificate to spend in store at Uniko Studio!

Next up are a few cards by my fellow TIME OUT Challenges DT member Sandie over at London Days...

Another STUNNING creation using the Paradise - Hummingbird stamp set. Isn't the layered stamp masking just FABulous? I love the monochrome colour scheme Sandie has used too as it really lets the birds take the focus.

Continuing the bird theme, Sandie has created a couple of cards using this months revisited stamp set Peace On Earth...

This über CAS glittery card really is stunning, the pop of red with the heart really draws focus to the dove. This next card is so soft & beautiful, it uses a modern Christmas colour scheme which works perfectly.

Be sure to stop on by Sandie's blog HERE for more wonderful inspiration.

Lastly but no means least I have a couple of cards by Jane over at Purplejet Loves Crafts...

This first card is another wonderfully thoughtful card and uses a selection of Uniko Studio stamp sets in a genius way. Firstly Jane has used Background Builders: Christmas on the stockings and the tiny bears and 'Double the Joy' sentiment from Sweet Baby.

I feel honoured to have inspired Jane for this next card, which uses the baby wipe stamping technique...

The All Occasion Sentiments #3 works perfectly with not only the technique but the starburst stamp Jane has used. Be sure to stop on by Jane's blog HERE for more wonderful inspiration.

Ok, that's all I have to share with you today, I am sure there are many more wonderful creations out there using Uniko Studio products and I would LOVE you to share them with me & point me in the direction of your blog or online gallery. You can even email me photos to beverley@unikostudio.com

Until the next time, thank you for stopping by today :)

The Saturday Show!

Hey & Happy Weekend!

I can't believe that it was May the last time I did The saturday Show, how time flies! So today I am showcasing some FABulous customer creations.

First up are a couple of beauties by fellow TIME OUT Challenges DT member Sandie from London Days, both featuring English Country Garden - Butterflies...

Both of these cards are CAS perfection. On the first above I particularly like the bright orange butterflies and the zing of green sparkle on the outline butterflies. This second card is just SO elegant...

Isn't the pearlised vellum embossed butterfly just stunning?! Love it :) Be sure to stop on by Sandie's blog HERE for lots more FABulous inspiration.

Continuing the English Country Garden - Butterflies theme, I have another couple of beauties to share from Lynn over at The Mango Boys & Me...

I really like the current trend of no outline colouring, something I've not tried yet myself & Lynn's take on it above is just stunning. Lynn has used white embossing of the large outline butterfly to achieve this.

This next card is just as awesome...

I LOVE the angles on this card and the stunning colours too :) Be sure to stop on by Lynn's blog HERE for lots more FABulous inspiration.

Why break a theme when the it's SO inspiring? So I've another couple of beauties using the same stamps, this time by another of my fellow TIME OUT Challenges DT, this time Gerrina from Gerrina's Creatieve Wereld...

Both of these creations by Gerrina are a little different from her usual style, maybe my stamps bring out the CAS in people?! I love the soft subtle colours on the card above and how the main image panel is framed either side. On this next card the colours are beautifully zingy and vibrant...

I also love the layering of the butterflies using the masking technique. Be sure to stop by Gerrina's blog HERE for more inspiration :)

I've one last card to share continuing the theme of butterflies, this time by Sarah from Funky Fossil Designs...

The stripes against the gold butterflies & splatters is just a wonderful mix, just what the sentiment says! Be sure to stop on by Sarah's blog HERE for more wonderful inspiration.

I hope you've enjoyed The Saturday Show today, I sure have, I *love* seeing what all you lovely  & much appreciated customers create using Uniko Studio products :) I don't always know where you all are in blog land so send me an email to direct me there! Or if you don't have a blog you are more than welcome to email me photos to beverley@unikostudio.com

Ok, that's all for today, I will be back tomorrow with more to share, until then, thank you for stopping by today :)

I love Lynn's offset placement of the focal point & such a wonderful use of the ditsy florals contained in the Background Builders:Vines set. I don't think I will EVER tire of seeing these flowers! Be sure to stop on by Lynn's blog HERE for more wonderful inspiration.

Next up is Anita from Neet & Crafty, who has perfectly showcased the April Release, firstly with this card using the Background Builders: Vines set...

Beautiful framing of the sentiment from Flower Power #2, FAB layout and I love the colours too. Next Anita has used Flower Power #4 to create this stunner...

Beautiful colours and beautifully coloured, love the added ditsy floral too, filling in the gaps :) Be sure to stop on by Anita's blog HERE for more FABulous inspiration.
