Introducing... Bauhaus Blocks Clear Stamps

Happy Wednesday & Welcome to Day 2 of the product introductions for our May/June Release. 

Today myself and the Brand Ambassadors are showcasing a new clear stamp set called Bauhaus Blocks. If you've been here at Uniko for some time, you will know that I am inspired by a lot of design period styles.   

Bauhaus was an art school in Germany 1919 - 1933 that combined crafts and the fine arts. The school became famous for its approach to design which attempted to unify individual artistic vision with the principles of mass production and emphasis on function. The Bauhaus style tends to feature simple geometric shapes like rectangles and spheres, without elaborate decorations. 

This collection of blocks is heavily inspired by Bauhaus and although Piet Mondrian a Dutch artist, was not part of the movement he is mentioned in connection with the art school and his art complements the style wonderfully. 

So I have combined elements and ideas from the above to create a fun clear stamp set that lends itself wonderfully to masculine makes, perfect for upcoming Father's Day 😉

May / June 2023 Release Sneak Peeks

Hello & Happy Monday.

What better way to start off a new week, than with some New Release sneak peeks? It might be a small release, but I'm pretty excited about these additions to the Uniko line up and I think they pack a punch. 

As you know I love different design period styles and another one that captures my attention is Bauhaus. So I took a few of my favourite elements and put these into a couple of products.

First up this sneak peek gives a big hint to this fun clear stamp set called Bauhaus Blocks.

Next is a sneak peek at a new Stencil - Layering Bauhaus Block Builder...

And lastly for today I have a floral addition with Stencil - Flower Power #4...

Exclusively Introducing... Uniko's Picked Posies Collection with CraftStash UK.

I'm so happy to be able to finally after many months of keeping this under wraps, I can share what I have been working on behind the scenes here at Uniko HQ. 

Back in the Autumn of 2022, CraftStash approached me and asked if I would be interested in a collaboration and designing some exclusive collections for them under my Uniko brand. Of course I said yes and I can now introduce you to the Exclusive Picked Posies Collection.

This collection is Exclusive to CraftStash and can only be purchased from CraftStash HERE for those in the UK and HERE for those in the US. 

The main set the collection is this clear stamp set...

A modern floral stamp set which features a range of different floral blooms, foliage and flower centres alongside outline dies to create dimensional flowers on your projects.

Next, I had to design a mix and match sentiment set to go with them...

Which leads nicely onto the last of the stamps in this collection a beautiful large foliage background stamp, you know how I love a background! 

Next in the collection I added some dies. First I chose this sentiment die, and the word smile. Because really we need to smile more and send more smiles in the mail.

This die comes with the word, as I've used on the sample below and also the shadow. Much like Uniko's BIG & BOLD Designer Dies. 

Next in the collection is this large die panel. Uniko fans might just recognise this quilted design from a previously released stencil.

And lastly, but by no means least there is a layering Plaid Stencil. Use one or both layers to create fun plaid style backgrounds.

This collection was a joy to design & put together and it has all the details you know, love and would expect from Uniko. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I can't wait to share more of this collection paired with previously released Uniko products to show the versatility and how, that even though this collection is exclusive to and manufactured by CraftStash, it's still Uniko.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - One floral stamp, two ways!

  Happy Thursday, all!

Vinita here, I am sharing two cards expressly Framed - Floral wines stamp set from Uniko.

The first card is fun with watercoloring.

I started by stamping the framed floral image on a whisper white CS and watercolored it using my ZIG watercolor brushes.

The sentiment in the centre is from the Just Because stamp set from Uniko.

Adhered it to my card base using foam adhesive and finished it off with some pearl drops.

My second card is created by metallic rich gold pale heat embossing framed floral wines image twice on a black CS.

Then using my polychrome pencils I colored the image with the greeting in the middle. Adhered it to a white CS panel with a metallic gold mirror frame, simple and super easy!

Mid Century Modern Flower Power #3

 Hello & Happy Wednesday.

I hope the sun is shining for you where you are, if not, I hope this brightens your day. 

I made this card a while ago and I've been waiting for the Stencil - MOD Background Builder to restocks to arrive before I did. And they are due to land in the studio, along with others as soon as Mr Postman does his rounds! 

As I've mentioned in my other Flower Power posts recently, I wanted to highlight and breathe new life into this collection of stamps and show how they pair with newer Uniko products.

And I chose Flower Power #3 to pair with this stencil as I feel this modern Chrysanthemum has a Mid Century Modern feel to it. And I am really pleased with how this turned out and I am loving the new Concord & 9th Pebble ink colour. 

I adhered the flower & the sentiment from Simply Said Blocks with foam adhesive and added a few white enamel dots to finish.

Uniko’s Exclusive @craftstashcouk Collection, launching Friday 19th May 2023! Here is the first sneak peek I shared on Monday.

Since Autumn 2022 I’ve been collaborating with CraftStash UK to bring you more of my unique, fresh & modern designs across a wider range of products. 

My first collection is perfect for summer with florals, foliage, mix & match sentiments and more 😊

Like all my products available at uniko.co.uk these are all designed by my own fair hand and will coordinate beautifully with lots of my previously released products. 

I will be sharing more sneak peeks this week here on social media

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Happy Birthday Cards

 Bonjour !

Izzy here with a little bit of Brand Ambassador Inspiration. As there was some birthday celebration in the air, I go on with two inspiration cards.

For the first one I wanted to use the last released Designer Dies Nature Treasures II Collection but this time I paired them with one of my favourite Uniko bundle, English Country Garden Butterflies Clear Stamp and Die and the beautiful background stamp Large Background French Scrip.

To make this card, I first die cut a white panel with a wonky stitched die on which I stamped the Large Background French Scrip. 

On a piece of white card stock, I stamped the butterfly with no-line colouring ink and I coloured it with coloured pencils. Once finished, I stamped back the butterfly but this time with black ink and I heat embossed it with clear powder and I cut it with the matching die.

I also die cut some of the leaves from the Designer Dies Nature Treasures II Collection. I cut some in Vellum paper and others in white card stock. I also stamped and gold heat embossed some of the curly leaves.

To finish my card, I tied a gold thread around the French Scrip panel and I foam mounted it on the double white card. Then I glued the leaves and the butterfly with glue dots. A sentiment from the Simply Said Blocks set has been gold embossed and glued on the card.

For my second card, I used part of the MOD Background Builder Circles stencil and I played with the colours of the last Color Hues challenge. 

To finish, I stamped the sentiment from Anniversaire Arts Décoratifs and I cut two out of four angles of the card so that it matches with the stencilled pattern.

Birthday Flower Power Flowers & Discount Code.

Happy Sunday!

Today is my birthday and as I turn 22 again 😜 I thought I would share a Flower Power birthday card & and I also have a discount code valid for 24hrs. 

I had so much fun stamping this rainbow of Flower Power #7 flowers and yes, I did fussy cut them out to create a fun cascade down my card front.

The sentiment is a combination of a partial stamp of the HAPPY from You Are Sentiments Outlined, which I have coloured using a black fine liner. The birthday part of the sentiment is from Birthday Sentiments. I adhered both sentiments with foam adhesive. To finish the card I added Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Drops to the centre of the flowers.

That's all from me today. I am probably enjoying chocolate Mickey Waffles with The Beans as you read this and then off to a local Titanic exhibit. Oh and there will be cake of course 😂

Flowers, fit for a King!

Happy Saturday! 

How is it a week since the Coronation of King Charles III? Days seem to be flying by this year. I also made todays card inspired by the coronation and colours.

Part of showcasing the versatility of Flower Power Collection this month, I wanted to show how they can be used with lots of other Uniko products. Like I have here pairing the Flower Power #1 solid flower,  the stem and leaves from Flower Power #8 with Background Blocks Scattered Polka Dots. The celebrate sentiment is from Flower Power #2.

Quite a bold colour combo, but I think it really shouts celebration to me! I hope you like it too 😊 Have a lovely Saturday & I'll be back on the blog tomorrow.
