Hi, Sandie here to introduce you to our February challenge.

It is our 3rd Birthday so our theme naturally has to be:

Birthdays 

Help us celebrate our Birthday by taking part in this challenge.

If you have forgotten the changes we introduced last month, here is a reminder:

-challenges will run for 2 weeks only and will begin on the 3rd Friday of each month

-you can use any stamps in our challenges

-you can enter as many times as you want and enter as many other challenges as you want combined with ours.

We are happy that the very creative and talented Tracey is our Guest Designer for this challenge. Tracey's blog. In my creative opinion, is full of fabulous cards that are sure to inspire you.

Mini Birthday Blog Hop & a Farewell

*This is my 2nd post of the day, for my TIME OUT Challenges card click HERE*

Hey!

So a couple of the Design Team didn't receive their stamps in time for Uniko Studio's 3rd Birthday Blog Hop so now they have them we are putting on a mini hop to give you some more inspiration and also as a farewell to one of our DT members...N@Ali.

N@Ali has been an inspiration to everyone here at Uniko and we are sad to say farewell, sometimes life just gets in the way of crafty fun! All of us here wish you all the best in your future adventures and we hope life settles down for you. 

Here are a couple of cards I have made using the February Release...

First a OL beauty using Balloon Bash and a sentiment from Simply Said Birthday. And I couldn't resist a Beautiful Blooms II card...

This one was inspired by Maile Belles and the trend of slicing through sentiments! Beautiful Blooms II was VERY popular and is currently sold out, we should have more in stock soon! There is still chance to get your hands on the other 3 sets released HERE! Be quick as stock is limited on these too.

TIME OUT Challenge - Inspired By Words

Hey!

These fortnights pass SO quickly, don't you think?  

Anyway, it's challenge #25 over at TIME OUT Challenges and we are back to being inspired by words, the phrase for this fortnights challenge is...

Rock around the clock

What do these words inspire you to create? I was inspired by the word clock, which resulted in this card...

It's been a while since I inked up my very first 2 Uniko Studio clear stamp sets, Today, Tomorrow & Always Time and Extra Time, so it was nice to dust them off and give them some love! I used my two favourite clock faces and a trio of WPlus9 ink colours to create this card.

I was also inspired by the current Addicted to CAS challenge HERE whose cue word is MASK. As you can see I masked and stamped my clock faces down the right hand side of my card.

Balloon Bash is what it is, a set for all occasions that you could have balloons for! It features two solid balloons, two types of string, a double bow, four confetti stamps, a mini balloon and a light reflection accent.

This set can be used easily on it's own, but it coordinates perfectly with all of Uniko Studio's sentiment stamps & the previously released Label Love: Birthday.

The next in the Beautiful Blooms series. This modern floral set was initially inspired by vintage lace & features a 3 step stamping option. It's sure to be the new 'go to' set of mine!

The next in the Simply Said series to be exact and a whole bunch of birthday sentiments in awesome modern fonts. 

Ok, now all the formal introductions have been done, I have a selection of cards using the new sets...

For my first card I had to use Beautiful Blooms II and again the pink & grey colour combo! I went for a darker grey this time though. You can't quite see the sparkle of the leaves on the grey card base, but I used Versamark Dazzle ink to stamp them. The layered flower is also sparkly due to the good coating of Wink Of Stella I put on it! 

Next I decided to make a sparkly, colourful confetti / balloon card. Even though I have added pink stars I think this is a fairly masculine card. 

That's all I had time to make in time for release day, but as tradition holds we have our release day blog hop, simply visit & comment along the hop by Wednesday 18th February, to be in the chance of winning the ENTIRE release! Introducing...Simply Said - Birthday

I'm super happy you have popped by the blog today & thank you for all your lovely comments yesterday. It makes me happy to read you like the look of Beautiful Blooms II :)

Today myself and the awesome DT are introducing the fourth and last of the mini sets being released this month. All of the sets being released will be available HERE on February 11th at 9am GMT.

This is the little sneak peek of the set incase you missed it the other day...

This set is the perfect mini sentiment set to accompany not only your Uniko Studio stamps, but other companies products. It was something lacking in the Uniko line up but now it's here on hand for all those birthday creations.

Lets see a couple in action...

This first card uses the Happy Birthday in my current favourite font! I've simply paired it with the bloom from Flower Power #2.

This next card uses two of the sentiments in the set...

This time I created a more masculine birthday card. I simply repeat stamped the HAPPY on a sheet of white card and accented it with some colourful dot confetti from Balloon Bash. I then adhered it at an angle. A  simple HAPPY BIRTHDAY in the lower right accented with silver pearls finished it off.

Introducing...Beautiful Blooms II

I think this has to be my favourite of the release and if you loved Beautiful Blooms I or any of the Uniko Studio floral sets, then I think you will love this set too! 

Anyway, how about a couple of projects using the set...

Some of you may have seen this card already, as it is the card I made for my guest appearance over at "Less is More" HERE on Saturday for their 4th Birthday celebrations. Which reminds me to tell you to join in on the fun over there! There are lots of prizes up for grabs including one from Uniko Studio :)

The challenge is a colour challenge, which is to use pink & grey. I love the pink and grey colour scheme and I couldn't help but reach for this set. I've paired it with Background Builders: Round In Circles (which will be back in stock at the end of the month).

I've another card to share using this set and a sentiment from the set we are introducing tomorrow. 

Another CAS card, this time I added some turquoise into the grey & pink mix! Another of the sentiments from the set being introduced tomorrow too. Ok, that's all from me today, but how about some inspiration from the FABulous Design Team, I know they will leave you feeling inspired about this set!
