Aloha Butterfly!

Aloha!

I'm popping by today, all be it later than I had planned with another card using the NEW Uniko Release stamps! This time I have combined them with another older set, English Country Garden - Butterflies...

I though I would use my sketch over at CAS Colours & Sketches HERE and seen below again. There is still plenty of time to enter the challenge this week, I'd love to see you in the gallery ;)

Another quick and CAS card, the tag is stamped with the solid hibiscus flower and stem using SU! Summer Sun and Melon Mambo. The butterfly is stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black and selectively coloured using my SU! Markers. I added a good covering of Wink Of Stella to the butterfly too ;)

As the Aloha! challenge is still going on over HERE at Addicted to CAS, I thought I'd enter in over there again too.

That's not quite all from me today, I have one more card to share over HERE with this weeks Stamp Of The Week. Yep, I am finally back into the swing of things and have a few cards lined up this week over on the website blog.

Thanks for stopping by today, I will be back tomorrow with more to share.

Thank you So Much

Hey!

Well, some of you have already rang in the New Year & I wish you all a Happy 2016. But first as it is still 2015 here in the UK for a few more hours I wanted to stop by to say THANK YOU for an amazing year here at Uniko HQ!

2015 has been a eventful year and a HUGE learning curve for me as a mum to my twin beans alongside keeping Uniko Ltd going!

I am thankful for so many things and so many people that if I tried to list them all I would forget someone or something so tonight I have made a card to show my THANKS to you all...

I had a little creative time tonight and decided to play along with the new ColourQ challenge colours seen HERE and below.

I also gave my new Heidi Swapp Mini Minc Machine a whirl and added some gold foil to heart from Always & Forever. LOVING this machine and can't wait to make full use of it in 2016!

Anyway, I thought I would also share 12 of my favourite projects from 2015 and I put together this little collage of them...

Before I go there is a Uniko Design Team member to say THANK YOU and farewell to, Gillian has decided to step down from the Design Team. With becoming a mum this year to her gorgeous little boy, crafting time has become limited. Gillian has been a wonderful inspiration to me and the rest of the Uniko DT and I am sure to all of you wonderful Uniko fans.

Thank you Gillian you WILL be truly missed.

THANK YOU to you ALL for an amazing 2015 see you next year!

TIME OUT Challenges - CASE with your own twist

* This is my first post for the day, please pop by at 9am for the first February Release Sneak Peeks*

Hey!

It's time for the next challenge over at TIME OUT Challenges! This fortnight is a CASE challenge, with your own twist. This month we have an awesome muse who many in blogland might already know...

This is Kylie's Fabulous card to CASE...

Here is my CASE with a twist...

As you can see I was inspired by the tag, flowers and the colours of the flowers, but I decided to twist it up by using a Smokey Slate card base instead of the white on white & texture Kylie has used. I decided to keep my card sentiment free too, then it can be used for any occasion that may arise.

Ok, that's all from me today, but there is much more inspiration over at TIME OUT Challenges. This fortnight we have a lovely guest designer joining us, Sarah from the Uniko Studio Design Team - YAY!, be sure to stop by Sarah's blog Sazzle Dazzle Crafts to see how she was inspired by the photo and of course the FABulous TIME OUT Challenges Design Team...

For all the info and to link up your challenge be sure to stop by the TIME OUT Challenges blog. I look forward to seeing your creations :) I'll be back soon with more to share, until then, thank you for stopping by today.

TIME OUT Challenges - Home Sweet Home

Hey!

Welcome back to another TIME OUT Challenges. This fortnight is Home Sweet Home with a interiors photo to spark your inspiration...

I was inspired by the aqua & white stripes on the walls of the inspiration photo and the orange ribbon on the teepee and this is how I interpreted it onto my card...

I used the reverse side of one of my Uniko Studio Background Builders stamps to stamp the aqua striped on my die cut tag. I then added sentiments from the All Occasion Sentiments series and some PTI Terracotta Tile satin ribbon.

This fortnight we have a lovely guest designer joining us over at TIME OUT Challenges, Sarah from Funky Fossil Designs. Be sure to stop by Sarah's BLOG to see how she was inspired by the photo and of course the FABulous TIME OUT Challenges Design Team...

Countdown to Christmas Day 11

Hey!

Welcome back to my second post for the day :) If you missed the first be sure to check it out HERE as it's not one to be missed! It is the full reveal of the December Release plus a farewell, design team & guest designer blog hop. There is also a prize up for grabs for commenting along the hop too ;)

So, back to my countdown to Christmas and today I am focusing on some pretty packaging & tag to match the card design which I shared HERE the other day.

Some time ago I purchased these white gift bags which were reasonably priced and good quality to decorate. I started out by die cutting some Designer Die Snowflakes from some double sided silver sparkly paper and adhered them to the lower right of the bag.

I then set about making the tag which is created using Papertrey Ink's Tag Sale #4 die and the large Limitless Layers Circle Die.

I also wrapped the Gift Set of cards I shared HERE yesterday, which will be popped inside the bag along with a few other little gifts that I will wrap the same. I've used some white wrapping paper and some red satin ribbon...

That's one present wrapped! Just a few more to go ;) Short & sweet from me this afternoon, but I will be back tomorrow with more to share in my Countdown to Christmas. Until then, thank you for stopping by today.

Be Still My Beating Heart...

Hey!

My heart goes a little faster occasionally when I'm creating, especially if a challenge sparks the perfect combinations of colours and stamps, today's little project was one of them moments...

This ensemble above of a card & matching tag came about after seeing the last challenge at Do You Stack Up (DYSU) challenge HERE and seen below...

Kraft & Twine is a combination I haven't used for some time and the pop of red and white in the photo above sparked my creation!

I started with the card and began by stamping the chevron Washi stamp from Wonderful Washi on a piece of white CS so that the design went over the edges of the CS. I then mounted it onto some Real Red CS before adhering to my Kraft card base.

I then created the 'Thank You' label using stamps from Label Love: Thank you and adhered it to the PTI die cut with foam adhesive. Before I adhered it to the card with more foam adhesive I wrapped some linen thread around the centre of the chevron 3 times. Here's a close up of the detail...

I thoroughly enjoyed making this CAS card that I had to go on and make the matching tag! It's been ages since I've made a matching tag too!

The process of making the card was the same as the card except for making the chevron stripe smaller in width. Though I missed the deadline for the challenge it really sparked my creative juices!

That's all from me today. I'll be back again tomorrow with a trio of CAS cards to share, until then, thanks for stopping by.
Hugs

Out of Sync!

Hello!

Well, it's back to work after a rainy but lovely relaxing Bank Holiday here in the UK! I had planned to craft in The Studio over the extended weekend but relaxed, spent time with my hunny and shopped instead!

It was hard to get back to work after such a nice break and now I feel I'm on a holiday wind down to a sunshine getaway even though the next Uniko Studio release is just around the corner! So, I soon snapped out of it & whipped this little beauty up this morning to share with you ...

Savouring the very little sunshine we've had in the UK this Summer I thought I'd use a cheery summery colour scheme on my card! I used the current Retro Sketch HERE and seen below for my card layout & I couldn't resist using the Super FREE Saturday collection once more!

The circle butterfly tag from the collection has to be my FAVE and so it got printed out a few times! This time I added the 'Thank You' sentiment from Extra Time as I can never have too many Thank You cards!

Here's a close up ...

If you missed the Super FREE Saturday fun you can catch up on it HERE and HERE. The collection can be downloaded for FREE HERE

It won't be long before the September release Sneak Peeks start here on the blog, so I had best get onto a few things here in the studio in preparation for that! Thanks for stopping by today.

Peeps Rocking Uniko Studio Stamps!

Warning! Long post you may want to grab a cuppa before you start reading! LOL!

Oh my, it's Wednesday! This week is zooming by, which is good as I'm looking forward to a weekend of friends, food & crafty time!

This weekend Kerry & I are headed down South to see our friend Wendy at The Stamp Attic. Along with spending time with Wendy enjoy cake & food we will also be both demoing in the shop in Saturday! Kerry will be working wonders with Copics and I will be showing people some fun stuff with Uniko Studio Time & Extra Time stamps!

Anyway, onto some eye candy! If you haven't checked this BLOG & this BLOG out before I highly recommend them! The first is The Stamp Attic Blog, Wendy has a FABULOUS design team who show an array of projects from CAS to grunge & all those in-between!

The second is Ruby's Blog, who is part of The Stamp Attic's DT. As The Stamp Attic is stocking Uniko Studio stamps Wendy passed some along to Ruby & just look ... such wonderful projects.

Hop on over to Ruby's Blog to find out the details of both of her cards.

Someone else is still enjoying & getting the most out of her Uniko Studio stamps & that is Gayatri!

Gayatri has paired Uniko Studio stamps with some other FAB supplies & you can check all the details about it over on her BLOG! I'm loving the mix & match of all the patterns plus I love the colour combo too!

There was one other fab thing about this & it the sketch, Gayatri gave the heads up about a NEW Sketch Challenge Blog that has just started. You can check it out HERE, it's called Retro Sketches. So I thought I'd have a play along too using some Uniko Studio stamps!

This is the sketch for the challenge ...

And this is my card ...

I started off by using PTI's Ric Rac Die to cut some scraps of Summer Sunrise, Hawaiian Shores & Raspberry Fizz CS. I adhered these to a mat layer of Soft Stone & White CS which is then adhered to the base layer using foam pads.

I then used my Sizzix Framelets Flower dies to cut the 3 smallest flowers. I then stamped the medium graphic flower on each flower using co-ordinating colours as the ric rac die cuts. I used a pearl brad to hold them all together & adhered to the mat layer using foam pads.

I used a SU! punch to punch out the sentiment once stamped & adhered this also to the mat layer using foam pads.

I love how you can achieve a whole new look just by using a few other crafty supplies such as dies & punches with your stamps to create a diverse range of projects!

Phew! Thats it from me today! I'll be back tomorrow though with another project! I hope that you have found some inspiration today!

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs

Hello Friends!

Hello Friends!

Well, I'm not a 100% but I finally made it into the Studio this afternoon to finish a card I had started before I was ill! It was nice to get back in there but I sure am tired now!

Anyway, I will stop rambling on & show you it ...

It's a super simple card & I have used only the Time stamp set. I had to try out the flowers like Kerry had in this card HERE. I simply stamped the large graphic flower in Raspberry Fizz onto Sweet Blush CS and cut the pointed flower shape out. I then did the same with the medium flower but stamped it with Raspberry Fizz onto Hibiscus Burst CS and cut the pointed flower out. They are adhered together with a foam pad in-between.

The tag is die cut from Kraft CS and mounted on foam pads onto the CS base. I stamped the sentiment along the side of the tag on the base card using Raspberry Fizz it keeps the LO streamlined and is a little quirky than just stamping it horizontally!

I used some foam pads to adhere the flowers to the tag and some gems for the centres and a little bit of Raspberry Fizz satin ribbon to finish it all off. Even though I used foam pads to adhere the embellishments it's not too bulky as they were not thick foam pads so it's fairly mail friendly!

I'm off to do a lil bit more stamp designing before I rest up for the evening!
Thanks for stopping by today!
