Brand ambassador inspiration : Big and bold wish

Hi there!

Hannelie here with some inspiration focusing on Big & bold wish stamp set and Designer dies : big & bold - wish collection .

I combined the Big and Bold :Wish stamp set and designer dies with Background blocks : stars .

The sentiment phrases in the set really make it so versatile! You can use it with the birthday candles in the set to create a birthday card, or with the reference to stars, you can create a wish-inspired card by combining it with star images or embellishments like I did on today's card !

I stamped the star background on a piece of card stock and layered it on black card stock showing off a small border.

I used gold glitter paper to die cut the sentiment and layered it on a black shadow. The die cut 'wish' was popped up with foam dots for dimension. I used my silhouette cameo to cut out the 'upon a star'' and adhered it on the large die cut sentiment.

I finally added the 3 large golden flat back embellishments.

I love combining different sets to create different themed cards!

Thanks for popping in to take a look at my card :)

Wishing you a peaceful Sunday and wonderful week !

Introducing... Organic Wishes

Hey & Happy Sunday!

I look forward to seeing any of you that might be attending Stamp Magic in Doncaster today :)

Anyway, let's get back to the October 2017 product release and introduce the final clear stamp set.  If you have missed days 1 - 4 you can catch up HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE!

Today's clear stamp set was inspired by some doodles that DT member Lindsey sent me and I got to working and Organic Wishes was born...

This set features a selection of modern seed heads and wishes sentiments. It is designed in a similar style to Originally Organic and Originally Organic Additions as well as having small features found in Uniko Style and Natures Treasures

The double stem stamp from the set comes as two vertical lines, but I have designed it so that they can be easily bent to angle them in your desired direction, like I have to the right on my card. I've done some simple masking and ink blending to create a Autumn inspired ombré background. The sentiment is one from the set.

That's all from me here, but be sure to hop along all the Design Team blogs and leave a comment along the way, as you never know you might just win a random prize! I know for sure that you won't be disappointed the Design Team have created a bountiful wealth of inspiration :)

Uniko Sponsors "Less Is More"

Hey & Happy World Card Making Day!

I'm super duper pleased you have popped by this morning as today the countdown to the October Release starts, it's Happy Stampers Festival Day AND myself and Uniko are proud to be sponsoring the challenge over at "Less is More" this month  - YAY!

Being the first challenge of the month, it's a colour challenge and it's all about Hot & Spicy colours. When I thought of these colours I thought of the Middle East designs and Marvellous Mehndi...

I used my MISTI to stamp the large mandala on both the square layer and base card in Stampin' Up! Poppy Parade ink and then over stamped them in VersaMark ink, to heat emboss them with clear EP. I then went in and selectively coloured the mandala on the top square only.

The sentiment is a peek at one from a NEW clear stamp set being introduced this week and will be available to purchase on Monday 16th October! I've embellished it with some smaller stamps from Marvellous Mehndi and my favourite Stampin' Up! enamel dots!

I hope I have inspired you to join in on the fun?!

That's all from myself for now, but be sure to head on over HERE to see what the "Less is More" Design Team have created to inspire you and to join in on the fun too. I hope to see you in the gallery!

I'll be back AGAIN soon with the first of the October Release Sneak Peeks!

"Less is More" Sponsor & Guest Designer

Hey & Happy Weekend!

Today I am guest designing over at the "Less is More" challenge blog HERE. This month Uniko Studio is also the sponsor and there is a £15 Gift Certificate up for grabs to spend in store.

Now if that wasn't enough fun it is also their 3rd Birthday and they are celebrating this week with another fun challenge and lots of guest designer inspiration. Be sure to join in on all the fun :)

The challenge this week is RAINBOW and this is my interpretation of the challenge...

Now, I don't own any rainbow themed stamps so I decided to do my rainbow version of THIS card I shared a few weeks ago. It's not my best creation and it's not how I envisioned it to turn out, my mojo seems to be awol!

Anyway, be sure to stop on by the "Less is More" blog HERE to join in on the fun :) I can't wait to see what you create. Until next time, thank you for stopping by today :)

Winter Wishes...

Hey!

Today I have a Winter Wishes card to share with you all, first of all though I want to apologise for the poor quality of the photograph my usual camera is out of action and I am having to use my iPhone camera until Sunday when hopefully I will be able to borrow one off my in-laws. Everything seems to be going on the blink this week which is certainly testing my patience! Anyway moan over, onto the card...

Gayatri one of my FAB design team members introduced me to this NEW sketch blog HERE called CAS(E) this Sketch as she is on their DT too as she is a Queen at CAS. So, I saw the current sketch HERE and seen below and instantly ideas were popping into my head so this evening I squeezed in a few minutes of inky time to make the card above.

As you can see I got a bit carried away with adding bling! I also heat embossed the doily snowflakes with Crystal EP it's much more sparkly IRL.

That's all from me today, there is much to be done here as I prepare to introduce you all to the newest members of the Design Team here on the blog on Saturday. There is also another Super FREE Saturday just over a week away!

Be sure to check out the Autumn Sale too over on the website HERE, there are some BARGAINS to be had and for a limited time only!

Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Wishes ...

Hey!

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days. I've been spending some time with my hunny for his birthday weekend & would like to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY for today!!

Anyway, I managed to squeeze in a little inky time while the football was on last night to make this birthday card for him ...

I used 2 challenges for this card, firstly a retrosketch sketch HERE and also the Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge HERE. Below are the two inspiration pictures ...

The last NEW set for my focus which was released last month from Uniko Studio is Background Builders Lattice. I love this set & it has SO many possibilities! I used 2 sentiment stamps from Fontiments - Birthday too. I stamped the lattice in Memento Black ink and coloured the in lattice using 3 Copic colours matched to The Play Date Cafe Challenge. I then stamped the individual lattice stamps coloured them & cut them out & adhered them to the card using foam adhesive. A few dew drops finished the card nicely. A modern masculine card!

That's all from me today, I'm off to spend some more quality time with my hunny as it's his birthday today & while he is off work too! Were off out for pizza & a movie - yum! I'll be back tomorrow with another card using this set combined with a previously released set!

Thanks for stopping by!

One of THEM days!

Happy Wednesday!

Do you ever have one of THEM days where no matter what you make you're just no happy with the results? I had one yesterday evening as I was 'trying' to create a card or two to share with you today! Things were going wonky, there were smudges & mishaps that just made me frustrated!

Anyway, FINALLY I made a card I was happy with! So here it is ...

I had SO many ideas in my head to show you with Fontiments - Birthday but they were just not happening! I think I've used them a fair amount since release so I think you get the idea & general size of them! The more I use them the more I think of companion words that I 'wish' I had, good job this is the first in a SERIES of Fontiments!!

I paired the sentiment with 2 of the little stamps contained in Background Builders - Lattice. I used a Copic BG72 to colour in the thin border of the line lattice & the little lattice is stamped in SU! Baja Breeze.

Well, thats all I have to share for today! Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs!
