Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Natures Treasures II

Good morning!

Anita here with some Brand Ambassador inspiration for you and for today's projects I've chosen to use an oldie but definitely goodie.  The Natures Treasures II Clear Stamp Set is one of my most favourite leafy sets in my stash, I just adore the design, and love the fact that Uniko also have the same design in a stencil and mask set too.

For all three of my projects today I've also used sentiments from the Birthday Wishes Clear Stamp Set.

Ok, first up I've done a little masking and paired the leaf image with the Background Blocks Pinstripe Clear Stamp...

Firstly, I stamped the leaf image in a pale ink before colouring the inside of the leaves with Copic markers.  I then masked the leaves in order to stamp the pinstripe background without going over the centre of the leaves.  Once dry I then re-stamped the leaf image in Versamark before heat embossing in white.  I finished by stamping the sentiment in black before adhering the die cut panel to the card base.

Next up I used the stencil...

This one layer card was super simple to make and for a change I chose a coloured card base.  I used the two different sized images from the stencil to ink blend the leaves in Distress Oxides in Iced Spruce and Dried Marigold.  Finished with a sentiment stamped in black.

And finally, just some stamping and embossing..

I stamped the leaves in green and re-stamped with some subtle brown ink on the tips of the leaves, then stamped again with the green to blend it out.  I stamped the flourishes from the set and heat embossed these in gold and copper, and finished once again with a sentiment stamped in black.

I hope you like these and that it encourages you to dig out some older items in your stash.  I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet but autumn is starting to creep in, we've had such dry, hot weather here in the UK so some of the leaves are already beginning to change.  So that's where I got my inspiration for these cards.

Enjoy the rest of your week.  We have a bank holiday this coming weekend here in the UK so I'm certainly looking forward to that extra day off!

Stay safe, sending crafty hugs

Brand Ambassador Post : Background Blocks - Pinstripe II

 Hi there!

Hannelie here today with a set of cards so quick and so clean and so simple . I just realised again that cardmaking doesn't have to be complicated to be fun !

I started off with the intention to make five cards (the first five photos) and then the idea came to (sort of) combine a couple of them on one card...

All you need is a background stamp, a sentiment stamp & some colored card stock . A couple of geometric dies or punches would make it even easier 😊

Inspiration for the designs come from some mid century posters like THIS pin combining bold color blocks with stripes. The color block provides a great spot to place the sentiment!

Here's the card with the combination of elements :

... and the complete set !

Thank you so much for popping in today!

I hope you feel inspired ♥

Two For Tuesday - Background Blocks Pinstripe

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I'm a little later than planned with my post today, mainly because my desk was hurried under a mountain of barcodes for most of the day - haha! It's been two years since my last show and I didn't realise how many new products needed barcodes.

Anyway, today I am sharing a couple of cards featuring Background Blocks Pinstripe. Like all the background blocks, this stamp is no exception and a great staple in your stamp arsenal. I love using it as a quick focal point accent to florals, this time I've tried to use it in a couple of new ways.

First I went for this colour block design and added the Pinstripes in gold to add a little accent feature. I also gold embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment from Floral Vines. I think this is such a quick fun design which can be altered to the recipients favourite colour.

For my second card I was keen to pair the Pinstripes with a floral. As my Passion Flower in the garden is still going strong, I chose Passiflora.

For this card I created a circle stencil from copy paper to stamp the Pinstripes through in black. I fancied a circle over a rectangle or square to complement the Passion Flower.

I stamped and die cut the elements of the Passion Flower and adhered using foam adhesive. The sentiment I chose for this card is from Doodle Flowers

That's all I have to share today, I hope I have given you a couple more ways to use not only Background Blocks Pinstripe, but any of the Background Blocks. They really are good fun.
