Uniko classes, re-stocks AND a card!

Hey!

How did we get to Wednesday already?? My days are zooming by like nobodies business - LOL!  The beans are FULL on during their awake time, luckily they nap and sleep well, but I am struggling to keep on going during these times!! 

Anyway, today I have a mixed bag of a post with some news on the Uniko Classes some restocks coming next week and to make it a little sweeter I've made a card to share with you all too!

Uniko Classes 

I have updated the CLASSES page HERE which is located below the logo banner at the top of the blog. More dates will be added soon, including the date & info for the FULL Day crafting retreat in 2016.

I have 2 classes in October, the 2nd class being at the NEW venue close to the market town of Yarm - YAY! You can book your place on the NEW Class HERE on the website. 

Stamp Restocks

I have 4 stamp restocks due in next week (approx 6th October) which are...

Now, how about a card...

I had an unexpected 30 minutes this evening to myself whilst the beans went to the swings with Grandad. After seeing the new Freshly Made Sketch pop up on my Instagram earlier I reached for two of the restock sets to create my card, English Country Garden - Butterflies & Label Love - Thank you. I still have a TON of thank you cards to make & send!

With only having 30 minutes I kept it super CAS! I started out by stamping the large butterfly directly onto my white CS base & selectively coloured it with my Prisma Color pencils & used gamsol to blend the colouring. The smaller outline butterflies are stamped in Turquoise Gem & Pink Grapefruit VersaMagic and adhered to the card with DST just down the centres. The sentiment is from Label Love - Thank you & one I reach for often.

To finish it off I smothered the butterflies in Wink Of Stella, which you can just about see in the photo above!

As per customer request the next addition to the All Occasion Sentiment series is here! Though we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK, I opted for an Autumnal kind of feel to the set with the large outlined THANKS and added in a few other popular sentiments I've seen around the paper crafting industry.

Geometrics & tribal patterns are still a huge trend within the paper crafting industry, so I got designing and created my own version, Triangulate. This set is very similar to the previously released Background Builders: Round In Circles & Background Builders: Squared, adding more stamping mix & match possibilities.

Last up we have Natures Treasures II, the next in the series with a variety of leaves & foliage. This addition to the Natures Treasure series came about as I LOVE to add leaves to a cluster of flowers on a CAS card. I also LOVE making my supplies & stamps stretch without braking the bank! 

This set has a nifty feature in that the single leaves from Beautiful Blooms II and Flower Power #6 coordinate with the larger leaves in this set for EVEN MORE possibilities.

Now I have done all the formal introductions, how about a card showcasing these new sets...

I am showcasing my LOVE of adding leaves to a cluster of flowers as I said above! I was inspired by the current TIME OUT Challenges CASE with your own twist challenge seen HERE. This fortnight they are CASEing the awesomely talented and lovely Tracey from In My Creative Opinion. 

This is the card to CASE, isn't it amazing & scream out to you CASE me?! 

I started by stamping the 2 larger leaves from Natures Treasures II along with the rose from Flower Power #6 in a trio of pastel shades of VersaMagic inks, Thatched Straw, Pink Grapefruit & Aquatic Splash, I then fussy cut them out.

The leaves are adhered to the white card base using DST and the roses foam adhesive. The sentiment is from the NEW All Occasion Sentiments #6.

Introducing...Natures Treasures II

Hey!

Welcome back to the next product introduction, here is a little reminder of the Sneak Peek I shared the other day...

So the title of this set kinda gives it away really and you have an idea what's in store, but it has SO many possibilities and will mix with a variety of previously release Uniko clear stamp sets.

How about a card to show you a little of what this set has in store...

I decided to use one of the smaller leaves contained in the set along with a section from one of the larger leaves and the largest spiral leaf. I wanted to show how versatile this set is & pair it with one of Uniko's floral sets, Beautiful Blooms II. The sentiment is from Flower Power #5.

As usual I used a couple of challenges to jump start my creative process! First up is the new CAS(E) this Sketch! layout seen HERE and below. For my colour choice I used the new CAS - Colours & Sketches challenge colours seen HERE and below.
