You Can Never Have Too Much Joy

Happy Tuesday.

Thank you all for filling me with joy.

All your lovely comments, support, love and orders, you have truly made this little Uniko business owner feel full of joy. It really is a dream come true to bring you my ideas and designs and to have them received so wonderfully by you.

My heart smiles every time I see something I design used to make a card, tag or however you use it creatively. So thank you.

Ok, now to some more inspiration.

I shared this card late last night on Instagram, it was a fun filled day of order packing, but I did manage to squeeze in this card! I felt I needed to give BIG & BOLD Joy some inky love.

I love an ombre card & this came together pretty quick, even with the fussy cutting! I kept the embellishing simple with the little foliage image stamped in Evergreen and Parsley. The joys were stamped in Ballet Slipper, Poppy and Cranberry.

I had so much joy making this card, I went ahead and made another one today, which makes up for not giving this set the love on release day!

Again I went for clean & simple, but I couldn't resist adding the Christmas sparkle. Once I heat embossed the sentiment I embellished with some stamped holly from Winter Foliage.

I hope these two cards bring you joy today.

It's Beginning To Look Like... Introducing BIG & BOLD Joy

Happy FriYAY!

Welcome to day 4 of the Uniko October/November Release product introductions. Be sure to check back HERE, HERE and HERE if you've missed the introductions so far.

Today myself, Natalia our Guest and The Brand Ambassadors have another fun clear stamp addition to share with you. This one joins the BIG & BOLD series and I think it's such a lovely festive addition. Though I can see it working for a non festive card too.

Let's have a look at what Natalia our guest and the Brand Ambassadors have created using this new clear stamp.

Merry Monday with Rustic Wreath

Happy Monday!

It's half term here this week, which means no school for The Beans and a fun filled week of activities for us all. Well, me and them as daddy still has to go to work :( Today we have a Pumpkin Painting adventure, they absolutely loved this last year and I can't wait to see how their creativity has evolved!

Anyway, with daylight savings at the weekend I maximised my extra hour getting creative and a tiny bit ahead as creative / work time this week will be limited to a night.

I'm back today with some more Merry Monday inspiration and this time I dusted off an older Uniko Christmas clear stamp sets, Rustic Wreath and Background Builders Vines Winter Additions...

Firstly I was inspired by the sketch over at CAS Colours & Sketches seen HERE and below to make a classic style Christmas Wreath card.

I stamped the wreath image in one of my favourite Altenew greens, Olive and then proceeded to add to the wreath by stamping the pinecones and berries.

The poinsettia flowers are from Background Builders Vines Winter Additions and I have fussy cut them out and adhered them with double sided tape. I added some Autumn Red Nuvo Drops to the berries to give them a little dimension and decided to stamp the Joy sentiment from Festive Sentiments Outlined.

Lastly for today I created another CAS wreath card, but this time I put my fussy cutting skills to the test even more by cutting out the wreath!

This time I filled out the wreath with more of the pine branches and twig sprigs from the Rustic Wreath set. Again I added Autumn Red Nuvo Drops to the berries and fussy cut the poinsettias. This time the sentiment is from Simply Said Blocks Christmas.

Hopefully from this last photo you can see that the wreath is adhered to the card using foam adhesive to give a little dimension and interest.

I think out of the two cards this last one is my favourite. I like how the wreath turned out to be a little fuller by adding the extra pine sprigs in a darker Moss green and all the white space to show it off makes me happy!

That's all I have to share with you today. I hope you all have a wonderful day and find some time to be creative.

Super FREE Saturday!

Hey & Happy Weekend!

I can't believe that today is the last day of November and it is also Super Free Saturday here at Uniko Studio. I've been a bit sporadic this year with the Super Free Saturdays this year and it is on my New Years Resolution list to get them as regular as clock work for 2014!

Anyway, let's have a look at this months freebie...

It's called Peace * Love * Joy and is trio of circular labels with a mini poinsettia inside them. They come in a mini PNG file which is available for download HERE on the website.

I had ideas galore in which to use these little labels, but time flew away from me and I only managed to whip up this trio of cards which are inspired by THIS snowflake card made by Maile Belles.

I simply printed off the file with the 3 labels and fussy cut them out. I then used my At You Spica Pens to colour the poinsettia in and the rim of the label. This is then layered onto the largest Designer Die Snowflake and adhered to the card using foam adhesive. The medium and small snowflake die cuts are adhered flat to the card. Below is a close up of the detail, it doesn't  show how sparkly the poinsettia is though in the photo but it is there in real life.

After making this one I went on to make two more with the same colours but switching them around....

I can't decide which colour version I like the best! I do hope you will pop over to the website HERE & download the file. I'd LOVE to see too what you make using them and you can link your project up HERE into the current challenge too, email entries are welcome too just email me a photo of your project & I'll upload your entry.

While your over on the website why not check out the Black Friday & Cyber Monday Bargains! They end on Monday midnight GMT and they're being snapped up and you wouldn't want to miss out.

Ok, that's all from me today I will be back tomorrow with my Countdown to Christmas advent, where I will be sharing an ideas & quick projects to hopefully inspire you a bit more with your Christmas & Holiday preparations. Until then , thank you for stopping by today :)

PEACE * LOVE * JOY

Hey!

I'm back on schedule today with another card using the dove from Peace On Earth. This time I have paired it with a sentiment from Pure Florals: Poinsettia...

I used a couple of challenges to boost my creativity starting with the current retro sketches layout seen HERE and below. I also decided to use the dove again one because I've not given it much LOVE but also because of the current 'Less is More' challenge HERE which is Christmas cards & to use a bird.

I started out by stamping the sentiment repeatedly along panel of white card stock using VersaMagic Turquoise Gem, I then divided the panel into 3 sections measuring 4 x 6 cm.

The dove was left over from yesterdays card HERE and I've adhered it to the card using foam adhesive. The card was a little empty just with the dove so I decided to add a sparkly punched heart and a few rhinestones too.

I'm super HAPPY to see so many wonderful entries into our current challenge HERE. If you don't have any Uniko Studio Christmas themed stamps or products there are a few freebies HERE on the website you can use.

That's all from me today, I will be back tomorrow with more to share, until then thank you for stopping by :)

They're Back!

Hey!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is super happy for this news that I have to share today on the blog, so without further ado I'm pleased to say that Decorative Doilies - The Hands of Time is back in stock HERE. I know that many have been waiting for this set & your wait is over!

Edit 13:30 hrs *** Stock updated & available to order!

With that I thought it appropriate to use them to make this card...

It just so happened that the current "Less is More" challenge HERE and seen below (as it's a sketch challenge) was perfect inspiration.

I decided it was about time to that I made a start on my Christmas cards for this year too, so I used a sentiment from Pure Florals: Poinsettia and added a good dose of glitter...

That's all from me today, but I will be back tomorrow with more to share. Until then thank you for stopping by :)
