Partially colored Mandala - BA Inspiration

Hello friends Rahmat here today with my inspiration .

I am showcasing the Marvelous Mehndi set today.

I have kept the color scheme simple with just 2 colors, and only colored it partial for fun.

The sentiment is from Uniko but a retired set and smaller part is from another current one.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind feedback. Have a great day!

DT inspiration - Thank you card

Bonjour !

Izzy here.

Today I make echo to Sarah P's last DT post by sharing with you a thank you card that shows the versatility of the Uniko stamps.

To make this card I used three stamp sets : English Country Garden : Butterflies (released in June 2014), Pure Florals : Peony (released in December 2018) and All Occasion Sentiments #3 (Released in August 2013).

Uniko products are so easy to mix and match that I always find new inspiration to make new cards. Whatever is the sketch I choose, I always find a Uniko product (or products) to create my project.

Today I chose the sketch from CAS Colours and Sketches challenges to make this card...

When I saw the sketch and the inspiration cards, I immediately imagined this card, butterflies on the top, flowers on the bottom, everything separated with a sentiment banner.

Once the stamp sets choosen and layed out, it was a game of stamping, masking, stencilling, blending inks and colouring.

The English Country Garden : Butterflies and the Pure Florals : Peony are coloured with Faber-Castell Polychromos colour pencils and the background is made with Distress inks.

I've had never used the All Occasion Sentiments #3 before but I LOVE how it looks, the calligraphy is so beautiful, don't you think so ?

I hope you like my card and that you will be inspired to play with your different Uniko products, I'm sure that you will come up with a stunning project !

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day !

Izzy xx

Peony Love

Hello friends, Rahmat here.
I am up with my inspiration using the recently released Pure Floral - Peony.
I got these stamps much later than the release, so thought of sharing it with more inspiration for you guys.
I am hooked with coloring for past 2 years, and I am still very much enjoying it, its pretty therapeutic.

Today I have 2 cards, One with plain colored image and white BG and the other with colored image and a colored BG.

The first one is stamped and colored using the distress inks.
I have let the image be the star here, didn't feel like adding anything else here. I had stamped the sentiment on the image.

----------------

If you follow my instagram @rahmat.ccc, you would have seen how I am experimenting with backgrounds nowadays. So I did one for the peony as well.
I stamped the image in Versafine ink and used a pink alcohol marker to color it, adding some shading as well.
Then I masked the image and did some inking and stenciling, followed by white pigment ink stamping for the Bokeh effect. After going back and forth I decided to add the sentiment onto the image, and I like how it looks. I added the front panel with foam adhesive.

I hope you guys like my Inspirations with the peony stamp, and if you already haven't got it, maybe you should consider getting it.
Its a beauty whether colored or left uncolored.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind  feedback :) Have a great day!
