TIME OUT Challenges - Theme

*This is my first post for the day, please pop back at 9am for my July Release Introducing post *

It's time for another challenge over at TIME OUT Challenges & this fortnight we have a theme challenge with an optional twist & there is a prize up for grabs too for the winner of this challenge!

The theme this time is...

Nature with the optional twist of animals (butterflies & insects can be used).

I decided to go with the optional twist and this is what I came up with...

I reached for my Uniko Sweet Baby set and paired the cute little bear with Natures Treasures I and created this non traditional New Baby card. I surprised myself in how much I liked the result, it just goes to show that 'playing' with your stamps and mixing sets cane lead to unexpected but happy results.

This fortnight we have a lovely guest designer joining us, Barb, be sure to stop by Barb's blog HERE to see how she was inspired by the photo and of course the FABulous TIME OUT Challenges Design Team...

For all the info and to link up your challenge be sure to stop by the TIME OUT Challenges blog. I look forward to seeing your creations :) I'll be back again later in the week with more to share & until then, thank you for stopping by today.

  1. Fantastic combining of stamps, Bev! I also like the color palette -I think this could be given both to girls and boys. xxx

  2. Oh this is so adorable Bev. Love the sweet little scene you've created.

  3. Absolutely adorable, Bev! That teddy is incredibly sweet!

  4. That bear is , at least I think that, the most cute Uniko image out the whole collection and it reminds me every time of the (green)bear I had as a child...
It looks great sitting in this beautiful piece of nature!
Enjoy a hopefully fun weekend! Hugs, Gerrina

  5. I love this, Bev - it looks like your sweet bear has gone on safari! Gorgeous natural colour tones and perfect stamping as always :)

  6. I love it when you end up with something unexpected and really like it. I would never think to use these colours for a baby card but they really work, maybe because they are so lovely and soft. The teddy is such a sweetie too!

  7. Love how your sweet bear is nestled into his forest home, Bev ... a fabulous scene ... so adorable! Anita :)
