CAS Colours & Sketches #183

Hey!

It's a new month over at CAS Colours & Sketches with LOTS of fun challenges in store. As it is the summer months we are taking it in turns to be a hostess for the week. This week our hostess is the lovely Stef.

Stef has come up with this lovely colour combo HERE and seen below for you to try...

With the Summer finally arriving this week here in the UK, my thoughts have been tropical again, so this is how my card turned out...

I was quite pleased as I have two of the 3 colours this week, so I didn't have to colour match. All the supplies are listed at the end of the post.

My card is just simple stamping of the Hibiscus and tropical leaves on a panel of whisper white CS. After I had finished stamping I sliced the panel at an angle and adhered it to a Tip Top Taupe card base, leaving a space for a white embossed sentiment.

Ok, that's all from me for now, I hope I have inspired you to give these colours a go and join in on the challenge this week. Be sure to stop on over HERE and check out what the rest of the CAS Colours & Sketches DT have done using the colours and I hope to see you in the gallery.

Thanks for stopping by today.

  5. I like how you've split the panel to highlight the strip for the sentiment. You make such nice cards with the tropical flowers!

  6. I would never have thought to use these colours for the tropical blooms, but it works perfectly. I really like your embossed strip too. A great CAS card. Liz x
