Christmas in July Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Peace Love Joy

 Bonjour !

Izzy here, with two new inspiration cards for celebrating Christmas in July with Uniko !

Have you seen that the following products, among others, are back in stock ?

Winter Foliage Clear Stamps    Background Builders: Winter Wonderland

Pattern Building Christmas Tree Clear Stamp Set   Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder Clear Stamps

Here is what I came up with.

For my first card, I used the two first products Winter Foliage and Background Builders Winter Wonderland.

I first started with the front panel in which I die cut an arched window. Then I stamped and I white heat embossed the pine branch of the Winter Foliage set.

Then on a piece of white card stock, first I stamped and black heat embossed the trees and deers from the Background Builders Winter Wonderland set. Then I stamped and white heat embossed the falling snow of the same set.

I sponged some blue Distress oxide inks to make the sky. I flat adhered this illustration onto a double white card and I foam mounted the front panel on top.

To finish my card, I stamped in red a sentiment from the Simply Said Blocks Christmas set. I clear embossed it and I foam mounted it on the card.

Then for my second card I used the other two products Pattern Building Christmas Tree and Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder, together with the Mid Century Modern Purrfect Day.

I used the different stamps of the Pattern Building Christmas Tree set to make the background directly on the double white card by making a gradient of red.

On a piece of white card stock, I stamped the wreath (twice) of the Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder set with a gradient of green. I fussy cut it and I foam mounted it on the double card.

Then I stamped the cat of the Mid Century Modern Purrfect Day set, I coloured it in black and I also foam mounted it on the wreath.

To make the cat more festive, I stamped the bow of the Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder set, I coloured it with coloured pencils, I fussy cut it and glued it on its neck.

To finish, I stamped and I heat embossed the sentiment and I foam mounted it on the card.

Well, that's all from me today. Thanks for joining me and hopefully I've given you some more inspiration. And remember, if you like these products they are just back in stock.

Have a lovely day and thank you for stopping by.

Christmas in July Brand Ambassador Inspiration : Interactive card

  Hello everyone!

Happy Monday!

Vinita here!

"Christmas in July" is our theme this month, and I created an interactive card with a modern touch as an Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration!

I wanted to create a double-pocket card with Christmas wishes, so here is my take on it with such fun!

One pocket is vellum one, to create some mystery about what is behind the message!
And another one is behind the Christmas trees!!

For my card, I started stamping the background block waves twice on a piece of vellum and heat-embossed it using Wow Opaque Bright White embossing powder. And cut it according to my need as shown in the pic below.

Then, on another piece of white Card stock panel, I stamped the bold Merry Christmas sentiment from the Most Wonderful Stamp set and tiny snowflakes from the Big & Bold Snow stamp set using DI.

The Christmas tree is also from the Most Wonderful stamp set, and I colored it with my new sparkly watercolored pen.

Firstly, I adhered my tree panel to a white card base using foam adhesive tape, leaving the upper side open to put the Christmas wishes panel inside. Then I created a window panel on the Christmas tree panel and placed the vellum waves panel as snow waves using the foam adhesive.

Have you seen the shimmer on the Christmas tree?
I love the sparkly outcome, it gave the festive feel!!

I hope you enjoyed the process, and I can inspire you to make your one!

Happy crafting!
Have a wonderful day!

Seasonal Stencil Sunday - 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways Day 10

Happy Seasonal Stencil Sunday.

Welcome to day 10 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways. As the title of my post suggests, today I have a stencilled festive duo to share with you.

Let's have a look.

I love the Stencil - Christmas Folk Snowflake inked in red, so I opted for a kraft, white and red combination. I started with this split panel, sentiment focal point for this first card.

My sentiment choice is from Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder and I also added some solid red bakers twine to finish before adding to my kraft card base with foam adhesive.

For my second card today I decided to ink onto kraft card and add some simple interest by trimming my panel on the diagonal.

Again I added a sentiment from Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder which I fussy cut and adhered using foam tape.

If you fancy watching me make these 2 cards in less than a minute, real time 30 mins. Then head on over to YouTube HERE.

Seasonal Sentiment Saturday - 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways Day 9

Happy Seasonal, Sentiment Saturday!

Welcome to day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways. The days of inspiration and giveaways are just flying by. This time next week we will have started the countdown to the Christmas in July New Release!

Today I thought it would be nice to let those sentiment stamps shine and take the stage for our Christmas cards and here is what I came up with.

I started by selecting my sentiment from Christmas Sentiments, Holly Jolly. And because I chose this one I selected the holly leaves and berries from Winter Foliage

And here are the 3 cards I came up with using this combination.

When I know I want to make more than one card with a product or a combination of products like this,  I always sketch out some layouts. That way the creativity flows better. Let's have a closer look at each of them.

One thing I need to start doing, is using more coloured card in my crafting. Even if it's just a little bit like this for a sentiment. I think this just helps draw the focus to the sentiment and adds impact to a CAS card.

Next I wanted a repeating sentiment. I've done this before with the Let it Snow sentiment from this set. You can see the sample on the Christmas Sentiments product page.

Once I stamped the sentiment I created my own stamped patterned paper look with the holly and it was quick and fun to do.

Lastly I wanted to create a fun focal point with the holly and berries, so I came up with this fun flower style arrangement to add impact to the sentiment.

I started by stamping the holly leaves, 5 of each colour, plus some berries and fussy cut them out. I set these aside until it was time to assemble next to my sentiment once stamped, which I stamped to a thinner panel of white card. This layer again gives a little extra interest to a CAS card.

If you fancy watching me make these 3 cards in less than a minute, real time 30 mins. Then head on over to YouTube HERE.

Before I go, the giveaway. Be sure to leave a comment by 31st July 2025 for your chance to win the Christmas Sentiments stamp set I've used on this card If you are the lucky winner picked randomly from comments left across Uniko’s social media and already own the products, an alternative will be offered.

Winners will be announced first week of August 2025.

Festive Friday Mid Century Modern Style Part 2 and 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways Day 8

Happy Festive Friday!

Today I am back with more festive Mid Century Modern Style Christmas cards and 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways Day 8.

Today I decided to ink up Mid Century Modern Baubles and share my quicker colouring tip. You can watch it HERE on my YouTube short. You know me, anything for a quick colour option!

As you can see I went with some softer more pastel shades and it's funny as I seem to always reach for similar colours when using this stamp set. I must challenge myself to use some brights and traditional Christmas colours with these baubles!

I've added a little dimension with adhering the upper bauble with foam tape and I also added a little bit of sparkle using a jelly pen.

Before I go, the giveaway. Be sure to leave a comment by 31st July 2025 for your chance to win this stamp set I've used on this card If you are the lucky winner picked randomly from comments left across Uniko’s social media and already own the products, an alternative will be offered.

Winners will be announced first week of August 2025.

Christmas in July Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Scandinavian Christmas

Hi there

Anita here and today I have some Scandinavian style Christmas cards to share with you using two products, the Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas clear stamp and the Scandinavian Christmas stencil.  It certainly felt very strange making these Christmas cards in the middle of our UK heatwave!

I have three cards for you with very different looks.

The first of two using the Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas clear stamp...

I simply stamped the image using Altenew Winter Lake ink and coloured the linear images using Copic Markers.  I then stamped the greeting in the same blue ink which is from the Pattern Building Christmas Tree stamp set.

For this next card, on a die cut panel I stamped the main background image in Altenew Crimson ink.  Without moving the stamp in my MISTI I restamped in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed using clear gloss embossing powder.  I then masked off the rectangular area of the image and ink blended over the heat embossed image with Altenew Nimbus ink.

In this next image you can see how the heat embossed images resisted the Nimbus ink.  I finished with a stamped greeting from the Festive Sentiments stamp set.

For my final card I used the Scandinavian Christmas stencil...

I kept this one quite traditional by inking through the stencil using Distress Oxide ink in Candied Apple.  I then adhered a die cut panel which had a die cut oval aperture cut into it to create the window.  The sentiment, heat embossed in white, is from the Pattern Building Christmas Tree stamp set.  I added a few final dotted details to the images using a white gel pen.

I hope you're enjoying Christmas in July this month, there's still lots more to come from Bev and the team.

Thanks for visiting today - happy crafting!

Take care

Happy Wonderful Wednesday!

Today I am back with the seventh of twelve giveaways and inspiration.  And one of my Christmas favourites, Pattern Building Christmas Tree.

This fun clear stamp set came back in stock this week, so it was only. fair it received some fresh inky love.

I love colour all year round, but even more at Christmas. All those sparkly lights and colours make me so happy. So I went with rainbow colours for my tree.

I added some simple dimension to some of the levels and added some Silver Moondust Nuvo Glitter Drops to the string of lights.

If you fancy a quick watch on how I made this card you can view it HERE on YouTube.

Christmas in July Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Mid Century Modern Christmas Joy

  Bonjour !

Izzy again, with a third inspiration card for celebrating Christmas in July with Uniko !

This time I chose a non-Christmas product to make my card.

Stencil - Mid Century Modern Circles & Stars

As I was going through my stash of Uniko's stencil, I came across this one with stars and circles: Mid Century Modern Circles & Stars. Just what you need to illustrate Christmas!

I chose the traditional colours red, green & gold to make it even more Christmassy. I started by masking all the circles with post-it notes that I cut with a circle puncher and I applied the gold ink on the stars with a brush. Then with circular daubers and Distress oxide inks I coloured the circles.

For this card I chose a triptych white card. So, once the stencilled panel done, I cut it in half , I mated them on gold card stock and I flat adhered everything on the two folds of the card.

For the sentiment, I stamped and I gold heat embossed the BIG & BOLD Joy set on a piece of heavy card stock and I fussy cut it.

I die cut two circles, one in red card stock and another one a little bit bigger in white card stock. I glued them on the left fold of the card.

To finish, I flat adhered the sentiment on top of the two circles.

Well, that's all from me today. Thanks for joining me and hopefully I've given you some more inspiration for your Christmas stash.

Have a lovely day and thank you for stopping by.
