I'm a little later than intended with my card for the Uniko Uniko Facebook VIP July Challenge - Anything Goes Christmas AND the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways Day 5. But, as they say, better to be late, than never!
One thing I love to do is stretch my supplies and give them a Chrismassy twist. Background Builders: Classics recently came back in stock and it is such a fun builder set to make your own plaid patterns, add stripes of colour down the edges of your card.
Or like I have here, create the look of a wrapped gift topped with a sentiment tag and holly embellishment.
For the solid stripe I used Cranberry ink and the skinny stripes I used Poppy ink. My sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments and the holly and berries from Winter Foliage, due back in stock next week. I created a little dimension by adhering the sentiment and holly using 1mm thick foam tape.
