September 2015 Sneak Peek Day 2

Welcome back for another September 2025 Release Sneak Peek, if you missed the two I shared yesterday, you can catch them HERE.

So here is todays peek and the last for this release...

This is another follow on clear stamp set which will work on its own or even better paired with any of Uniko floral sets! I can't wait to showcase this set :)

Well, that's all the Sneak Peeks for this release, be sure to pop by tomorrow as the DT and I start the introductions and give you a closer look at the clear stamp sets being released. Below I have outlined the release schedule and as for previous releases there are prizes up for grabs :)

Finally the day is here where I get to share a sneak peek from the upcoming September 2015 Release, it seems like I've been waiting for forever to share them with you, probably because it has been due to my delay! My apologies for that, September is a little crazy with the beans 1st birthday & our wedding anniversary. 

Anyway, without further ado let's get to a couple of peeks...

I've had LOTS of requests for another set in a popular series, so here it is and I hope it won't disappoint! 

Geometrics are still on trend and this set has a tribal feel to it and has so many possibilities, which we will be sharing in the coming days :)

Surprise Sweetie!

Hey & Happy Weekend!

I was hoping to have popped in before today, but I was hit with a head cold on Thursday night and I'm only just about recovered. The beans have been a little snotty and under the weather too, so it's been a bit blugh here!

Anyway, back to business, I was SUPER surprised and beyond HAPPY when I received an email from Nina from Designs By Nina D, inviting me to be a Surprise Sweetie over at the {Cupcake Inspirations} challenge. Of course I jumped at the chance, all be it a little nervous to do so to join in with the FABulous DT.

This weeks Challenge #327 HERE is a theme challenge & the theme is LACE. 

This theme scared me a little as it is so girly and pretty, something I seem to struggle with! This is what I created based on the inspiration above...

I used a Papertrey Ink Decorative Doily Die as my 'lace' and as I still had the Flower Power #6 clear stamps on my desk they were inked up again with Pretty Petunia and Spring Pansy VersaMagic. I then fussy cut them out to decorate the side of the lace doily. The leaves are stamped in Aloe Vera VersaMagic. 

I couldn't resist using a little bit of NBUS on my card ;) 'The You Make Me Smile' sentiment is from the upcoming Uniko Release next week! I stamped the 'You Make Me' directly onto the the doily and the 'Smile' is stamped and fussy cut out.

Celebrations!

Hey!

My apologies for it being so quiet on the blog last week, I had a busy week with family celebrations. It all started on Wednesday with the Beans 1st Birthday, that's not taking into account all the prep work I did before the BIG day! 

Here are my not so little beans...

We had a lovely family party with pizza, chips, homemade curry and of course CAKE! This is my first celebration cake, I had to snap a pic before the ears fell off!! I need some practice I think before the cakes get more complicated. My husband was a little disappointed in that I didn't make the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse like he was expecting!

We then had another party for them on Saturday which their little friends came to, along with family again. This time we had an indoor BBQ as the weather was fine but too cold to be outdoors. It was still good fun. I made another cake but forgot to snap a photo of it before it got cut into. I kept it simple the second time with just cookie cutter Mickeys on top of white icing.

After both the parties, the baking and cooking my husband & I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary quietly! We did go round to his parents for a Sunday dinner so I didn't have to cook ;)

It's hard to believe it was 2 years since we got married in Hawaii, though a lot has happened in those 2 years! I wouldn't change any of it for the world.

For my card I used Strike A Pose! paired with Flower Power #6, I wanted to frame a photo from our big day and choose an appropriate sentiment, the rose and leaves just finished it off nicely. 

Anyway, that is all I have to share with you today, I will be back tomorrow with more to share and fingers crossed later in the week too. I need to squeeze in a lot of crafting this week as we DO have the Uniko September Release. Though it is delayed slightly due to all the craziness of last week, I didn't want to rush it all and I wanted all of the DT to be able to join in too ;)

I simply heat embossed the Pure Florals: Cosmos in white and then watercolored them going over the lines with my Zig Clean Color pens.
