Hi, it's Jane here today with a trio of cards to share.
I've been busy creating with some of the in stock Flower Power stamp sets and have a bit of a theme going on. All three cards use the outline flower stamps and all three have them sitting on the edge.
First up is my personal favourite - had to start with that one!
This card uses Flower Power #3 which has that iconic flower from the Uniko logo. I did a bit of masking and built up the border and then hand cut it. Looks so amazing against the dark fresh fig cardstock, just like lace don't you think?
I added a touch of grey pen round the top edge to create a bit of depth and a pretty mini gem to the centre of each bloom.
Supplies:
Flower Power #3
Ink & cardstock: SU, fresh fig
Promarker: cool grey 1
Bling Bling gems
I'm sticking with the same coloured cardstock for my next card, but have changed over to Flower Power #2. I think this was my first ever purchase from Uniko and has remained a staple favourite ever since.
I used all three of the new SU ink colours to create this border and masked out each flower as I stamped along. Once I'd cut the border I raised it up on pads and splattered a bit of white ink to peep out from behind.
The sentiment is also also from this stamp set and has a wonderful curly font.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Flower Power # 2
Inks: SU, powder pink, berry burst, fresh fig
Promarker: vanilla
Gems from my stash
For my last card I've changed up both the cardstock colour and the stamp set. This time I'm featuring Flower Power #7 with a sentiment from Flower Power #3.
This is one of those really sweet flower stamps that reminds me so much of how I used to doodle round my lesson notes at school. I stamped using versamark and then added white embossing powder and heat set it to give a more raised appearance.
It's difficult to see but I did add a little colour round the flower centres before popping on some pretty sparkly gems.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Flower Power #7 & #3
Ink: Memento, pear tart; Versamark, clear
Embossing: RTanger Superfine, white
Gems: Bling Bling
Promarker: meadow green
Well that's me done for today. I hope I may have given you some new ideas to try out with the Flower Power range of Uniko stamps sets. Thanks for looking and keep crafting!
