Hi! It's Jane here today with an idea to stretch your Uniko stamps a little further.
How about some lunchbox notes?
Back in the day when I was teaching there was one mum who sometimes added little notes into her children's lunchbox. I was so taken by this idea and wished I'd thought of it before my boys were all at the canteen chips with everything stage. Oh well, there's always the grandchildren!
As April will see the Spring celebrations of Easter I thought I'd start with a bunny.
I die cut a square of card and stamped the Uniko bunny in the middle. Then I stamped it again onto two pieces of patterned paper. These I hand cut and paper pieced onto the stamped bunny.
I finished off the card by stamping the little heart from the same stamp set in colours picked from the patterned paper and also added the greeting.
Stamps: Uniko, Some Bunny
The next lunchbox note is one I know one of my younger grandsons will love - he's really into superheroes at the moment.
I used both Explosion stamp sets and the matching die too. I chose red as it pops so brilliantly against the black and white. And it's also his favourite colour!
Stamps: Uniko, Explosion, Explosion Additions
Die: Uniko, Explosion Collection
My last note is a bit more feminine and I'll have a bit of a wait before I can use it for my granddaughter, but I had to get some pink and purple in didn't I? Or I could always give it to one of my son's to pop into their wife's lunch box!!!
I used Reach For The Stars and Background Builders Seeing Stars for this note.
Stamps: Uniko, Reach For The Stars, Background Builders Seeing Stars
Thanks so much for looking at my post today, I hope you like my little lunchbox notes and will maybe give them a go yourself.
And remember to keep crafting!
