Uniko's 9th Birthday February Release Sneak Peeks Day 3

Happy Tuesday & Welcome Back to Day 3 and the last of the Sneak Peeks!

I know this birthday release has been a little subdued with me trying to juggle ALL the things, but there is still time to join in on the Birthday Linky Party HERE and also enter to WIN the HUGE Prize HERE

Anyway, this month I have 4 new clear stamp sets and 2 new stencil designs, one of which is a FREEBIE with all Release Day orders while stocks last. All the new products will be available to purchase on Sunday 28th February 10am GMT.

If you missed Day 1 and Day 2 peeks you might want to catch up HERE and HERE 😉

Okay, let's have a look at the peeks I am sharing today, both of which are stencils and one has been highly requested and I am excited to be finally bringing it to you...

YES! I am finally adding to the Pure Florals Stencil range ;) I think this one will be as popular as the Chrysanthemum!

Lastly today, here is a peek at the FREEBIE stencil that I will be automatically adding to Release Day orders while stocks last. It will become available for purchase mid March...

That's all the sneak peeks for this release! Just a small release this month, but I think it packs a Uniko punch! I can't wait to start sharing product introductions with you tomorrow. Until then, I'd love to know what your thoughts are regarding these peeks. I might even select a random comment to win a prize.

Until tomorrow, thank you for stopping by.

Uniko's 9th Birthday February Sneak Peeks Day 2

Happy Tuesday & Welcome Back to Day 2 of the Sneak Peeks!

If you missed yesterdays peeks you might want to catch up HERE 😉

Okay, let's have a look at the peeks I am sharing today, which BTW I am totally excited about...

This first peek is the next in the Framed series and it is called Framed - Floral Vines, because it is exactly that. A beautiful leafy vine in my signature 'Organic' style with these beautiful florals. It has a very Spring like feel to it, but it lends itself to Summer and Autumn themed cards too.

This next peek is of a mini accompanying & stand alone stamp set called Floral Vines. I'm excited to bring these two sets to life later in the week!

That's all the sneak peeks I am sharing with you today! I can't wait to share the last two with you tomorrow ;)

I'd love to know what your thoughts are regarding these peeks. I might even select a random comment to win a prize.

Until tomorrow, thank you for stopping by.

Uniko's 9th Birthday February Sneak Peeks Day 1

Happy Monday & Woohoo!

It is finally time to start sharing some sneak peeks for the 9th Birthday February Release!

Okay, let's have a look at the peeks I am sharing today...

This first peek is a new Background Block. It was actually the original design of one of the most popular background blocks available! I am sure it's not hard to guess which one and I know this one will be just as good fun & useful for those hard to make masculine cards.

My second peek is another addition to the Background Builders series and the geometric line up. This one has been on the sidelines for a while, but after some extra creative inspiration it is now the right time for it to be released.

That's all the sneak peeks I am sharing with you today! I can't wait to share the last few with you tomorrow AND I can't wait to show you these two peeks in action later this week ;)

I'd love to know what your thoughts are regarding these peeks. I might even select a random comment to win a prize.

Until tomorrow, thank you for stopping by.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Happy Valentine's Day

 Bonjour !

Izzy here with two cards for this Valentine's Day.

For my first card I combined the following products ...

I got inspired by the colours of the Colour Throwdown challenge and by the Time Out challenge photo inspiration.

First I stamped the background stripes block in black ink on a white card stock. I cut it and I foam mounted it on a white double card.

Then I decided to make a gradient from pink to red when stamping the hearts. I fussy cut them and I glued them on the striped background.

I finished by stamping the sentiment the same way, I fussy cut it and I glued it.

For my second card I used :

For this card I got inspired by the sketch of A Place to Start challenge. I started with the background, using the stencil over a white card stock and blending distress inks. I flat adhered it to the fuchsia card base.

For the heart, I used a leftover of an alcohol ink panel that was still on my desk from a previous card. I stamped the heart with Versamark and I heat embossed it with Silver Pearl powder. I love how it lets see through the alcohol ink mouvement.

I die cut a label that I glued onto the stencilled background. Then I fussy cut the heart and I foam mounted it.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment in black and I glued some tiny hearts die cuts coming from the same Alcohol ink panel.

And since it's Uniko's birthday too, I couldn't finish this post without a birthday card ! For that I had fun using on the same card the products of the February releases of the last three years.

I kept the same shades of colour for this card. I placed the stencil on a double white card and I coloured with Distress inks.

Then I stamped the flowers silhouette in black and I heat embossed with glitter powder. I also stamped the sentiment the same way and I cut it with the matching die. I used the sentiment die background on Vellum paper.

On this picture it is easier to see the shimmery of the black silhouette and sentiment.

To finish I glued the sentiment on the card and I added three sequins.

That's all from me today. I wish you all a lovely day !

Thank you for stopping by.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Sentiment Stamped Valentine Cards

 Hello,

Carol here, warmly welcoming you to my Uniko Brand Ambassador post, where I'm celebrating Valentine's Day. Earlier this month, as part of Uniko's 9th birthday event, I shared two cards with 'patterned' word backgrounds using a variety of birthday-themed sentiments from several stamp sets. Since I enjoyed the results so much, I've replicated the process here, with an assortment of love/Valentine sentiments.

The panels are essentially the same in terms of word placement/palette, but with slight variations in design. For the first,  I die cut a larger heart (triple backed with scrap cardstock for dimension) over which I added a sentiment cut from shimmer cardstock.

For this one, I cut a trio of hearts (each backed with two piece of cardstock) before affixing the heart die-cut sentiment.

Even though it's an investment of time to create these backgrounds, the results make me happy. I hope they have the same effect on you!  If you have a chance (and the inclination/time), give your Uniko sentiments collection a play-on-the-stage. Guaranteed, you'll be delighted...and have fun in the process.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Background Blocks Mid Century Modern

 Hi all!

It's Jane here today with three cards using the same layout and main focal stamp - Background Blocks Mid Century Modern.

I'm kicking off with the birthday version - well it is Uniko's 9th birthday this month! And I love how the Mid Century Modern block stamp lends itself to masculine cards.

I stamped it off the edge of the card and then die cut a square for the sentiment from BIG & BOLD Happy. Simple, quick and beautifully CAS.

So then of course I got to thinking what other occasions I could use this idea for. Why not just to say Hello? We all need to stay in contact now more than ever.  I changed up the colour and used a circle die. The sentiment is from Hello Lovely.

And for my final card - there had to be three - I decided to go with February's love theme and made a Valentine's Day card. Of course the colour had to be red and the sentiment from BIG & BOLD Love stamped onto a heart!

Have you been playing along with the fun for Uniko's 9th birthday? There's a linky party going on HERE and why not take advantage of this fabulous discount code too! The code celebrate9 is valid for the whole month of February 2021 and can be used on any order placed, even if you place multiple orders during the month!

Thanks for looking today. Stay safe and keep crafting!
