HAPPY...

HAPPY Monday!

I seem to be in a super HAPPY mood which is unusual for a Monday, but it's good and it could have something to do with my up-comming wedding! Preparations seem to be falling nicely into place so far and I hope it to continue this way as I want to enjoy every moment.

I went to try on my wedding dress on Saturday and though I was excited I was anxious as I ordered a smaller size which meant I had to work harder to loose the weight & inches. It all worked out perfectly and fits like a glove, only a minor alteration at the back and the hem. If I'd gone for the size I was near  when trying dresses on it would have needed lots more alterations to be made smaller! I can't wait for my final fitting on August 6th.

The weather here in the UK is FABulous too which seems to lift my spirits and so I made this HAPPY card...

A super simple CAS card using the current ColourQ challenge colours seen HERE and below. I've used a mix of Uniko Studio clear stamp sets for my card which are all listed below.

That's all from me today but there will be more inspiration on the blog tomorrow with a NEW regular feature to inspire you. The Design Team & I have been working hard behind the scenes to come up with some NEW and inspiring ideas here on the blog so be sure to pop by tomorrow for the start of one new feature and also there is another NEW feature coming on Thursday this week!

Thanks for stopping by today :)

The Saturday Show!

Hey & Happy Weekend to you all!

Today I thought it would be nice to have another Saturday Show of all the lovely customer creations I have spotted around blogland and also some which I have been e-mailed - it really makes me happy seeing others enjoying using Uniko Studio products. So let's get to it!

First up is Valerie who e-mailed me this beauty...

I love the bright & cheery colours Valerie has used and the masking of the blooms to create the cluster is beautifully executed.

Thank you Valerie for taking the time to take photos & email me them :)

Next up is Kate...

I spotted this lovely shades of grey Chrysanthemum beauty in the 'Less is More' gallery HERE. I just LOVE stumbling across creations using Uniko Studio products and then Kate emailed me a link to her website HERE and just look at these Chrysanthemum beauties...

So many different looks with just one set, FABulous! Be sure to stop on by Kate's website HERE for even more inspiration.

Next up is Jane. Again, I spotted a card Jane had made in a challenge gallery and hopped on over to her blog HERE and came across these beauties..

I just LOVE the zingy colours on the card above and the leaves popping out from behind the framed flowers and with this next card I LOVE how Jane has used Background Builders: Round In Circles, especially the the builder strip stamp on the lower left hand side...

Be sure to pop on by Jane's blog HERE and have a look at more wonderful creations :)

I've one last card to share with you today and this one is from Gillian...

Isn't it just AWESOME?! Be sure to pop on by Gillian's blog HERE and take a look around, so much inspiration to see.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing the customer creations I've shared today as much as I have. I LOVE to see creations using Uniko Studio products but don't always have the time or know where you all are in blog land, so drop me a email or comment with a link and I will pop by and say hello!

Thanks for stopping by today, I'll be back tomorrow with more to share.

A little Friday Floral...

Happy Friday Everyone!

Did you enjoy the Design Team Blog Hop yesterday? I sure did :) If you missed it you can catch up on all the inspiration HERE and you still have time to comment too to be in the chance of winning the set featured.

I had a little inky time this afternoon to create this card...

I started out by using the current Freshly Made Sketch seen HERE and below for the layout of my card and the current Color Throwdown colours seen HERE and below.

I just loved using the solid flower from Flower Power #1 on THIS card which uses the same ghost stamping technique and had to have another go at it! It really is good fun :)

That's all I have to share today, it's too nice to be stuck in the studio but too hot to sit out so I'm alternating both! I'm also anxious and excited about my trip to York tomorrow for my first wedding dress fitting - I just hope it fits!

I will be back tomorrow with a scheduled 'The Saturday Show' post, so be sure to pop on by and have a look to see how Uniko Studio customers are using their goodies!

Thanks for stopping by today

July Design Team Blog Hop!

Hey!

I'm SO happy you've stopped by the blog today as we've a Design Team Blog Hop for you to enjoy. So grab a drink, get comfy and enjoy!

This month here at Uniko Studio we are having a fresh look at the previously released Label Love: Thank you clear stamp set. This set was released last year back in September HERE. This is such a useful set and can be used on it's own or paired with any Uniko Studio product or even other products you might have in your stash.

Like all the clear stamp sets in the Label Love series the sentiments & labels can be mixed and matched for even MORE possibilities!

Here's a look at the set...

As you might expect due to the name of the set it features 5 Thank you sentiments in lovely modern fonts and four circle labels which coordinate with a 1 3/4" circle punch or die for ease of cutting out. It also features 3 accent stamps.

Lets get to the projects! First I have a couple of older projects using the set...

I've also made a couple of new projects using the set and decided to play along with the current 'Less is More' challenge HERE which is Shades of Grey. I've not quite managed to use 50 shades of grey but used a couple on each of my projects below...

For my first card I decided just to use the Label Love: Thank you set on it's own, I simply stamped one of the Thank you sentiments onto a white piece of card stock and trimmed it at an angle. I then cut a strip of white card to place across the card and stamped another sentiment. The circle embellishment is heat embossed and a few NEW SU! candy dots finished the card off.

For my final card to share with you today I decided to pair Label Love: Thank you with Flower Power #2 and Natures Treasures I using a layout I have used before...

Again I used the shades of grey colour scheme and I'm really pleased how it turned out. The blooms are  2 stepped stamped in Smokey Slate ink for the solid bloom and Smokey Shadow for the lines. The leaves are also stamped with Smokey Shadow ink onto Soft Stone card stock to give them a slight offset against the white & grey background colours...

Ok, so that's enough from me lets get onto the Design Team Hop, you can find the order below in case there is a broken link along the way...

Clean & Simple with a SPLASH of Colour

Hey!

Happy Wednesday, WOW yesterday was a scorcher indeed and it was nice to be in the studio where it was nice & cool! It's a lot cooler today but still a lovely summers day :)

I've a couple of cards to share with you today using a crisp colour combination that CAS - Colours & Sketches Blog HERE and seen below challenged us to use...

I decided to use the colours in a minimalistic way for my first card and I'm pleased how it turned out...

I used Flower Power #2 combined with Natures Treasures I, such a lovely combination that I keep turning to over & over!

I enjoyed the colour & stamp combination that I decided to make another card...

This time I added in some Background Builders: Chevrons for good measure and a sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments #1. I also used Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge sketch seen HERE and below for the layout of my card.

That's all from me today, but I will be back tomorrow along with the Uniko Studio Design Team for the non release month clear stamp set revisited blog hop! I'd love you to pop by and hop along with us & as usual the featured set is up for grabs or if you already own it an alternative prize to the same value.

Until tomorrow... thanks for stopping by.

Flourishing Beautiful Blooms

Hey!

Happy Monday, it was a gloomy start here but the sun has finally broken through the clouds and just in time for me to walk to the Post Office to post some lovely orders  - thank you!

I have a CAS card to share with you today which is one I had made whilst demoing at The Paperlane but left behind so I made it again this afternoon but with a different colour combination...

I have neglected some what FONTiment Fancies - Swirls & Flourishes so decided on Saturday it was time to show it some LOVE! I've used the flourishes on a similar card HERE but decided they would pair nicely with Beautiful Blooms I

I used the current Dynamic Duos challenge colours seen HERE and below and simply stamped the flourish twice before re-inking to achieve the lighter shade of green.

Another short & sweet post from me today, but I hope you've enjoyed the eye candy today & I will be back tomorrow with more to share. Until then, thank you for stopping by & enjoy your day :)

Soft Neutral Blooms

Hey!

How's everyones weekend?

It's been a scorcher here in the UK and I'm loving the sunshine :) even though I spent most of the day yesterday indoors demoing with Uniko Studio clear stamps and dies and running a class at The Paperlane I still had a FABulous day (Thank You Ladies) and even enjoyed my lunch in the sun :)

I thought I'd share another card we made in the class...

We used some soft neutrals to stamp the Beautiful Blooms and used a little bit of masking to stamp the leaves peeking from behind the large bloom. A simple sentiment, bit of dimension by adhering the smaller bloom with foam adhesive and some bling to finish the card.

Short & Sweet again from me today, I'm spending time with my hunny & enjoying the glorious weather! I'll be back tomorrow afternoon with more to share :)

I hope you all have a lovely day & thank you for stopping by today.
