I'm SO happy you've stopped by the blog today as today is the first Design Team Blog Hop of 2014. As we've quite a few new followers here, ("Hello & Thank you") I will explain what's going on!
Here at Uniko Studio I currently only release new products every other month. This is for a number of reasons, firstly, being an avid paper crafter myself and knowing the current economic climate I know 'some' are on a limited budget when it comes to buying new stash, so this way you're not tempted to splurge too much every month. The second reason is that it is just me here at Uniko Studio HQ. I currently run this little business single handedly, designing, blogging, demoing, classes, packing etc, etc. so releasing every other month gives me chance to keep my head above water, well, just about!
So, on the in-between release months the Design Team & I take a look back at a previously released product, dust it off and give it some love! This month I decided to dust off the previously released Accent Essentials: Arrows clear stamp set which was released back in June 2013 HERE & HERE.
Here's a look at the set, which is also up for grabs, plus a £5 Gift Certificate to spend in store...
This set does exactly what it says in it's title, accentuates your projects. It can be used alone or paired with ALL of Uniko Studio's clear stamps plus others you have in your stash. I dusted off my set and created a few new cards to share with you today...
For my first card I couldn't wait to accentuate some LOVE hearts...
Add some sequin detail and the result is instant LOVE! I started out by die cutting my heart. I then selectively inked the point of the arrow & stamped it so it lined up with the corner of the panel. After cleaning my stamp I then selectively inked the feather side of the arrow, lining up the point with the first stamped section, the sentiment is from Always & Forever.
Then the fun part, adhering lovely red sequins to a kraft base card using glossy accents. I traced round the die cut heart on the kraft card base so I knew exactly where to place the sequins and ensure the negative space would be filled once the panel was adhered using foam adhesive.
My next card is also LOVE themed...
I used the Freshly Made Sketch challenge sketch seen HERE and below for the starting point & layout of my card.
Quite a bit of masking off on this card too, firstly I stamped the heart from Always & Forever. I then masked & stamped the 'LOVE' from All Occasion Sentiments #5 and lastly masked and stamped the arrow. A touch of gold sparkly glitter & tah dah!

My final card I am sharing today, (before we get to the FABulous DT samples) switches gears to a different occasion, showing the versatility of this little set...
This card was inspired by Laurie Willison's Muse Challenge card seen HERE and below. When I saw the card over at the challenge blog I instantly thought of the triangle arrow stamp and set about creating a sunburst.
I simply marked a small point on my white mat layer and randomly stamped around. The bright yellow made me smile, hence the choosing of the sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday. I framed the sentiment in a label from Label Love: Thank you stamped in Berry Sorbet and adhered to a Berry Sorbet die cut.
That wraps up all my projects using this set, how about we take a look at how the Design Team have used it...
