Here's a little card I made in honour of todays giveaway using one of my favourite Uniko Stencil designs, MOD Background Builder.

I'm slowly getting better at this soft stencilling! I realised it's best to attempt it with blending brushes that have been heavily inked. That way I don't re-ink the brush and simply use what's left on it. This is what I did with a yellow brush and a pink brush, which created a lovely peachy colour in the middle.

I chose the sentiment from Big & Bold Love, one because it's almost Valentine's Day. But also because you can send a With Love card on someone's birthday. I would just stamp, on your birthday inside the card. 

I used a mix of Hearts from Big & Bold Love and Background Builders Hearts and the with sentiment is a partial stamp from Everyday Love Sentiments.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Birthday Inspiration

Izzy here. As Bev already mentioned it, February at Uniko is a month of celebration, and this year Uniko is celebrating its 12th birthday ! As every year, there's so much planned for February at Uniko so stay tuned to discover what Bev has prepared to enchant you !

Today I'm here to inspire you with a card and of course it is a birthday card. As I already told you, I always struggle when it comes to make a masculine card but recently my teamie, Steph, made a post (see HERE) where she shows that stripes and a good colour combo solve this problem.

So that's what I've done. I dug out the beautiful Bauhaus Blocks set and I used it with a more or less masculine colour combo.

First I stamped with no-line colouring ink each square of the set on a piece of white card stock. With alcohol markers, I coloured them. Then I put them back in the MISTI and I used Versamark ink to be able to heat emboss them with gold embossing powder.

I fussy cut each square and I flat adhered them on the white double card and then to finish, I gold heat embossed the sentiment coming from the Sentiment Outlined set.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Flowers and Confetti

Anita here with some BA inspiration for you.  As you will be aware, if you've seen Bev's most recent posts, Uniko is celebrating it's 12th Birthday this month!  So it will be birthday inspiration aplenty this month.  Please do check back over the posts of the last few days to find out all about the Uniko Giveaways, and there's much more to come this month too.

On to my card, and I've mixed a few different products to create this one.

On a panel of white cardstock, slightly smaller than my card base, I began by masking off a "swoosh" and lightly ink blending using Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade and Dried Marigold.  I then laid the Party Confetti Stencil over the top and ink blended using Dried Marigold (over the Squeezed Lemonade) and Abandoned Coral (over the Dried Marigold).  I then removed the masks and stamped the large peonies image from the Hello Lovely Clear Stamp Set.  I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Flower Power #2 Clear Stamp set and heat embossed in white onto a strip of coral cardstock.  The panel was then adhered on 3D foam.

I think the floral image, along with the swoosh of colour and confetti stencilling is a great mix for a feminine birthday card.  And I think you can tell from these sunny colours that I can't wait for Spring to arrive!

Celebrating 12 Years - Fun Birthday Inspiration

 

Hello & Happy Friday! 

It's all about birthdays this month at Uniko as we celebrate twelve years. So it should be no surprise that the creative inspiration being shared will be birthday themed. 

A while back I spotted a fun sentiment on a card and it made me chuckle, so I decided to use it for my card today. 

As this is a unique sentiment, I dusted off my trusted Alphabet Outlined to stamp it. My intention was to stamp the sentiment central on my one layer card, but as you can see that didn't happen! I quite like the stagger/step effect that it turned out to be in the end.

I had my brother in mind for this card, he turns the BIG five zero later this month and so I chose some masculine colours to stamp the balloons from Balloon Bash in Peacock, Midnight and Stardust. I then matched the colours to Copic Markers as best I could with the ones I have to colour the sentiment.

Let The Celebrations Begin 🎉

 

Hello February & Happy Thursday 😃

This month at Uniko we are Celebrating Twelve Years 🎉 all month long. I've planned lots of inspiration, fun giveaways & creative competitions. PLUS we have a Brand New Release 👏🏻

Today I am kicking things off with a little Throwback Thursday, looking back at year eleven and a few things you may or may not have missed. 

In year eleven Uniko released 18 new clear stamp sets...

Six Stencil Designs, three of which are unique and innovative. And we had one new Designer Die Collection. 

Along with all these new products I stepped out of my comfort zone and explored some new avenues and collaborations. 

In May 2023 the Exclusive Uniko Picked Posies Collection with CraftStash was launched and is still currently available HERE.

And to top that The Uniko Papercraft Society Box was launched in November on subscription and is now available to purchase as a stand alone box HERE.

I know I haven't shared much about this fun box of goodies, I have been meaning to do a YouTube video, so be on the look out over the next couple of days for that. But for now, how about a card using some of the collection...

Now, if you've been around here for previous Uniko Birthday celebrations, you'll know that it is a month full of fun and of course, lots of giveaways.

BA Inspiration Love theme cards

  Hello everyone!

Happy Monday!

Today I have two projects to share using some goodies from UNIKO! I had fun playing around with them. As you all know Valentine's Day is approaching soon.

First up I got all rainbow inky horizontal stripes paired with Love!

The Big & Bold love stamp set features a beautiful bold Love word accompanied by some accent images and sentiments and I paired it with Background Blocks Horizontal stripes and Pinstripes stamp set.

These rainbow theme stripes match and show off the fun striped heart image.

Firstly I inked my horizontal stripe image using some newly radiant neon inks set of 4 and I love the result. Then I purposefully stamped the pinstripe look on these stripes. I inked my striped heart and fussy cut it. Then I stamped bold love sentiment along with accompanying sentiment All my. 

For the next card, I combined Decorative doilies digital paper with scattered heart images in a soft radiant neon color.

Firstly I used all 3 sizes of the smaller hearts from the same set. I colored the largest small heart using my blue ZIG watercolour brush pen.

I created a pocket using the decorative doilies paper print. The love sentiment is hand-cut using berry wine pigment ink accompanied by always sentiment. I popped up the pocket above the scattered hearts. I also added some iridescent hearts for more interest.

That's just where my creativity flows! Hope I inspired you to make some Valentine's cards for your loved ones!
