I'm back today with a few more projects that we made at my class at The Paperlane yesterday using the NEW Uniko June Release clear stamps.
If you missed the Release, Reveal & GIVEAWAY post yesterday you can check it out HERE and there is still time to comment and be in the chance of winning a £10 eGift Certificate.
Ok, so onto some cards and inspiration...
Another 'Bob' card! He's kinda perfect for those pesky masculine cards ;) I hope I didn't go 'too' floral by adding a pink hibiscus..? But Hey Ho, Hawaiian shirts often feature a floral or two, right..?
I did opt out of adding Wink Of Stella to the hibiscus flower though ;) The sentiment is from Simply Said and the die cut is Reverse Confetti.
Next up is another masculine card...
For this card I opted to use just the Paradise Leaves set and kept it super CAS. I masked off a section at the bottom of my matt layer and stamped the leaves in SU! Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade & Bermuda Bay. The outer line leaves each side are stamped using WPlus9 Appletini ink.
I aded a piece of Bermuda Bay Bakers Twine to hide where I masked and 'ended' the leaves and again the sentiment is from Simply Said.
Lastly today I have a tropical floral card...
This card uses the solid hibiscus stamp, which comes in two parts, the petals and the stamen. Even though from the MANY photos I took of hibiscus flowers whilst in Hawaii and on a recent trip to Butterfly World, the majority of the stamens are mainly a lighter shade of the petals with just a small amount of yellow/orange. I decided to still make the stamps separate to make stamping them different colours easier, after all they can be any colour we want them to be on our cards, well I think so anyway!
The flower petals are stamped in Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise with Summer Sunrise (PTI) used for the stamens. I found it easier to stamp the stamens first and then stamp the petals, though if I had a MISTI it would be even easier ;)
After stamping the flowers I fussy cut them out and adhered them to my card. I then went and added the leaf detail and finished the card off with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and a sentiment from Simply Said.
Ok, that's all from me today. I will be back tomorrow with more to share AND Stamp Of The Week will also be back HERE on the website blog.
Until then, thank you for stopping by and for everyone who left such lovely comments yesterday. They are all very much appreciated.
