Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Snow

 Hello everyone!

Happy Saturday!

Vinita here, Are you ready for a beautiful winter card with snowflakes............ Snow love is here!

I stamped my snowflakes from the framed snowflakes stamp set on a white card panel using the Unchanted Mariner DI. Then I ink-blended my background using picked raspberry and lumber plaid DI.

Once again I heat embossed in opaque bright white EP for more snowflake elements from the same set and added some splatters using silver perfect pearl. I love the wholesome look!

I used the bold snow die with outline coverage in a white scrap piece, which was left after blending the background with a glitter silver CS. To finish it off, I added the Let It sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this card!

Happy crafting!

 Hello everyone!

Happy Tuesday and Merry Christmas Eve!

Vinita here! Did you see Uniko's Christmas release last month? I loved everything in it. I spent a whole day creating Christmas cards! I picked a few items from this release and mixed and matched them with old ones!

I started by stamping the mehendi mandala design in Jet black archival ink at the top corner representing the Sun in festive colors. I watercolored it with my brush pens. At the bottom corner, I stamped the solid Christmas tree in ombre green DI with its outline image using Jet Black ink.
Then, I added some gifts with a Merry Christmas sentiment. I colored the gifts using acrylic markers. I quickly applied some Bronze Perfect Pearls to the Christmas tree, gifts, and sentiment; it was all magic. The black ink turned into bronze, and I added some bronze splatters.

Here is a close-up image:

I hope I have helped with ideas. This is such a fun way to gift someone.
Will come back again tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy crafting!

DT Inspiration ...... Using Perfect Pearls with your stencils

Happy Thursday ......

It's Linda here, with a fun way of using your Uniko stencils, and Perfect Pearls.

We all have them .... little pots of pretty pearlescent powders that don't see the light of day very often, well mine don't anyway.

I was inspired to use them for a recent blog challenge and I've been reminded how gorgeous these powders can look, especially on black or dark cardstock.  They're so easy to use too ......

I used the Uniko Balloon Bash stencil for this birthday, or party design.

Using a sponge I applied Versamark ink through the stencil, and then brushed the Perfect Pearl powders over the top.

The colours I used were Mint, Pink Gumball, Turquoise and Sunflower Sparkle ...... really pretty pastel shades with great shimmer.

I used a soft brush to dust off any excess powder and then gently polished over the card using a soft tissue

I mixed a little of the Perfect Pearl powders with some water and then splattered the colour onto the background using a paintbrush

I used a silver gel pen to draw the strings on the balloons, and finished with a simple sentiment from the Uniko Birthday Wishes Clear Stamp Set, stamped onto a snippet of white card and cut into a banner shape.

Go on ....... give your Perfect Pearls a go, and see just how pretty they can look.

Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy the rest of your day.

Cheerio until next time ......

Pearlescent Snowflakes!

Hey!

I'm back today with another snowflake card, this time I have given them a pearlescent treatment with some perfect pearls...

It's been a while since I 'dusted' the perfect pearls and so I decided to put them to use on a simple snowflake card! I only have 2 colours of pearls, gold & orchid a lovely soft lilac colour. I started out by choosing my sentiment & 3 favourite snowflakes from the set & stamping them in versa mark ink onto some black card.

Then using a soft paint brush I brushed over the sentiment & smaller snowflakes with the gold perfect pearls & then used the orchid colour over the remainder of the snowflakes. Once I was happy I used a dry baby wipe to wipe off the excess, which also adds a lovely shimmer to the non stamped areas on the card. I also added a few rhinestones to the large & medium snowflakes for a little extra bling - you can never have too much!

That's all from me today, I hope I've inspired you to dig out & give those perfect pearls a dusting! I'll be back tomorrow with more to share, until then thank you for stopping by :)
