Birthday Inspiration with Uniko Alumni Brand Ambassador Sarah Platt

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It's a terrific Tuesday as I am absolutely thrilled to have another Brand Ambassador Alumni joining us today, the lovely Sarah Platt..

Sarah joined the Uniko family in August 2014 having been a regular participant in Uniko challenges and valued customer.

What drew my attention to Sarah was her use of bright colours and clean style. Just like she has used today in her trio of birthday cards made especially for Uniko's 13th Birthday.

On this first card Sarah has used Background Blocks Wonky Stripes with die cut balloons decorated with elements from Balloon Bash. The sentiment is from Anniversaries Arts Decoratifs

I love how Sarah has continued the theme and colours, simply switching up the background block and balloon placement for a slightly different look. Here Sarah has used the Background Block Arts Decoratifs.

And for this last card Sarah has used Background Blocks Party Confetti.

A big thank you to Sarah for joining us today and taking part in the Uniko 13th Birthday Celebrations. Be sure to leave some comment love here on the Uniko blog and across social media platforms if you use them. I will be randomly selecting comments through the month to win some prizes.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Background Blocks Arts Decoratifs

Good morning and happy Friday!

Anita here, back with some colourful inspiration for you today.  I'm not going to lie, this card took quite a while to create but I'm so pleased with the result so I'm glad I persevered with it.

The main image here is Background Blocks Arts Decoratifs and the sentiment is from the Bauhaus Blocks stamp set.

I began by stamping the main image in a grey dye ink so it wasn't too dark and then left the stamp in my Misti to return to later.  Next came the intricate part...I used lots of little post-it notes to mask off each section and then ink blended within each section with various combinations of Distress Inks.  Initially I was going to fill every section but in the end chose to leave some white.  Once dry I re-stamped the image using VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Platinum embossing powder.  The sentiment was heat embossed using the same powder.

I love how this has a stained glass window look so I think I'll revisit this technique again using different colours.

Thanks for popping by.  Wishing you all a lovely weekend, we're almost there!

Introducing... Anniversaire Arts Décoratifs & B. Builders Arts Décoratifs

Hey!

Welcome to Day 2 of the February 2020 & 8th Birthday Release product introductions. If you missed day 1, be sure to catch up HERE.

Today myself and my awesome Brand Ambassadors are back to introduce two more clear stamp sets which continue the Art Deco theme.

The first is a mini sentiment set called Anniversaire Arts Décoratifs. This set features celebratory sentiments in a 1920's font and also way of talking, from having a roaring good time, to drinking champagne and dancing on the tables to all the dazzle dazzle in between!

The second is the latest addition to the Background Builders series of stamps. It's been a while since I added to this series & it is such a fun addition. The stamp set features 5 Art Deco styled building strips to create fabulous patterned backgrounds.

Let's have a look at how these stamps can be used...
