TIME OUT Challenges - Inspired By Words

Hey!

It's time for challenge #37 over at TIME OUT Challenges and we are back to being inspired by words, the phrase for this fortnights challenge is...

Friendship is Golden

What do these words inspire you to create? I was inspired by the whole phrase, which resulted in this card...

I've been wanting to try THIS 'Fussy Cutting' technique, I saw over on the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday challenge for some time now and the 'Fabulous' sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments #3 is kinda perfect for the technique. 

The layout of my card & paring stamps instantly jumped into my creative mind and I am fairly pleased with how it translated on to the card itself. Believe me it doesn't always happen that way! 

As you can see from this close up both the sentiment and the star banners from Garlands Galore are heat embossed gold.

A Quick Hello!

Just popping in with a quick Hello card to share with you all...

I was inspired by the current Runway Inspired Challenge seen HERE and below. What caught my eye was the diagonal stripes on the pocket of the striped top & I immediately thought of two stamps from Wonderful Washi which perfect for this card!

Lil' Cards

Hey!

Happy Friday! Well, we're slowly drying out here after all the rain we've had in the last few days and I'm hoping for a little Autumn sunshine today! Anyway, I've a lil 10.5 cm x 10.5 cm card to share with you today using an Autumn colour combo...

I used the current Play Date Cafe challenge colours HERE and seen below for my card and of course the Wonderful Washi stamp set! It doesn't seem to make it off my desk before it's inked again! Lol!

I kind of cheated and used two neutrals, I couldn't help it it just happened! I managed to use some old supplies on this card too - brads! Not something you see on cards these days. Here's a lil close up...

Mini Pennant Flags!

Happy Weekend to you all. I hope you have a goodie & find some inky time, I hope to find a bit in amongst some DIY, fingers crossed.

I have a card to share with you that came about from supplies already on my desk left over from my project HERE. I'm really loving this colour combination and mix of the 2 NEW stamp sets from Uniko Studio (even if I do say so myself!) I will try to show you some other projects using the other NEW products released soon ;) 

Anyway, here is todays card...

It just so happens that this card fits the bill for the current challenge over on Do You Stack Up (DYSU) HERE. Their current challenges is to use banners, flags, pennants or tags on your project. These little beauties from Wonderful Washi go hand in had with this challenge along with the larger Washi stamps! 

I had to pair it with a label and sentiment from Love Labels: Thank you for good measure!
